    看護学科新入生宿泊研修の効果:参加した学生への質問紙調査結果からみた効果と課題

    新入生が早期に大学生活に順応し、仲間や教員との関係作りがなされ、看護を学習するイメージがもてることを目的として、宿泊研修を企画実施し、その効果について質問紙調査を行い効果を検討した。調査対象は宿泊研修に参加した看護学科新入生53名と上級生61名、計114名である。調査の結果、新入生の満足度は高く、当初の目的は概ね達成された。また企画・運営を担った上級性も、新入生と親睦が図れ、達成感ももてていた。しかし、新入生と教員の親睦が十分図られていない、スケジュールが過密である、参加したい催しに参加できない上級生がいたなど、課題もいくつか残った。次年度からは今回の経験を踏まえて課題を改善し、新入生と上級生の交流を意義あるものとして継続的に発展させ、新入生が看護を学ぶよりよいスタートの場としていきたい。In this study we conducted a questionnaire survey to evaluate the effects of a workshop with overnight stays for first year nursing students. The workshop was planned for the students to be better able to accommodate themselves to university life by establishing relationships with other students and instructors, and to convey ideas about nursing study. The questionnaire was administered to 114 students of the nursing science course: 53 first year students and 61 senior students. The results show that the satisfaction level of the first year students was high, indicating that the purpose of the workshop was generally achieved. The senior students who were in charge of planning and implementing the workshop also felt satisfaction by establishing friendships with the new students. However, there were also problems that became clear as some seniors reported that good relationships between the new students and instructors was not promoted strongly enough, the schedule was tight, and as some senior students were not able to participate in the event. For the future, we aim to improve the paying attention to the problems experienced this time, to make the exchanges between the new students and seniors more meaningful, and to utilize the workshop as a more effective opportunity to start nursing study

    【要旨】本研究の目的は、医療的ケアを必要とする子どもの小学校就学に伴う親の思いを明らかにするこ とである。研究協力が得られた医療的ケアを必要とする子どもの親 4 名に半構造化面接を実施し、質的記 述的に分析を行った。その結果、【わが子の将来を考える】【わが子の希望を叶える決意】【 就学後も子ども 達と一緒に育つ期待感】【 家から出られない閉塞感】【希望が通らない就学への困難感】【周囲の人とのつな がりを支えに一歩踏み出す覚悟】のカテゴリーが生成された。親は、わが子の将来を考え、わが子の希望 を叶える決意で行動していた。さらに、その思いを後押ししてくれた幼稚園・保育所時代の子ども達と母 親達の存在が小学校就学を実現するための支えとなっていた。 Abstract : This study aims to understand the feelings of parents of children with medical complexity when the children are to enroll in elementary school. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with four parents of children with medical complexity who expressed consent to the study participation. The interview data were qualitatively and descriptively analyzed. The analysis identified the following categories: ‘thinking about the future of their own child’, ‘decision to fulfill the wishes of their child’, ‘expectation for the child to grow up with other children also after school age’, ‘feelings of obstruction that their children cannot go out from the home’, ‘feelings of difficulty in being unable to let their children go to school as wished’, and ‘preparedness to take steps with support from the people around them’. Parents thought about the future of their children and acted with determination to fulfill the wishes of the children. Further, the parents were emotionally supported by the presence of the children and other mothers from kindergarten and nursery school days who supported the parents in the endeavor to realize the wishes of elementary school enrollment for their children

     本研究は,高等養護学校における性教育の実態と課題を明らかにする目的で,性教育を担当する教諭に半構成的面接を行い意味内容を分析した質的記述的研究である.その結果【性被害を危惧】【反復・継続の教育】【性教育への熱い信念】【実態と時間数との狭間のジレンマ】の4 つのカテゴリーが抽出された.教諭は生徒の身に起こる性被害を危惧し,性教育への熱い信念を持ち,生徒に反復・継続の教育を行っていた.しかし,生徒の実態と性教育の時間の狭間でジレンマが生じていた.限られた時間の中で,生徒一人ひとりの実態に合わせ,生徒の行動変容につながるような教育方法,教諭間の共通理解と寄宿舎との連携が課題とされた.The objective of this study is to understand the situation and problems related to sex education in high schools for disabled students by conducting semi structured interviews with teachers in charge of sex education at such a school. The data obtained in the interviews were analyzed into the following four categories: "apprehensions about sexual violence", "repeated and continuing education", "strong beliefs in the value of sex education", and "dilemmas arising from perceived student needs and the number of class hours". Teachers conducted sex education repeatedly and continuously to the students with a strong belief in the necessity for sex education and with apprehension about the danger of sexual violence inflicted on students by others, or other students. However, teachers felt a dilemma between the situation surrounding the students and the time available for sex education. The findings suggest the necessity of establishing a method of sex education that helps respond to the behavioral changes experienced by students based on the specific condition of each student in the limited time available, sharing understanding and insights among teachers, and ensuring cooperation with the staff of dormitories
