EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL NA ZONA RURAL: UMA ANÁLISE A PARTIR DE UMA ESCOLA NO INTERIOR DO MUNICÍPIO DE VITÓRIA DAS MISSÕES/RS

Environmental education is a right to the entire Brazilian population and should be available bothin formal and informal education. Thus, the work in question aims to investigate whether thisteaching is actually being offered in basic education schools for this, a survey was conducted in aschool inside the city of Victory Mission / RS to verify if the environmental education is present inthe same school and if so how the faculty has developed the theme with the students. We alsosought to discover if the school has already put some specific project with the environment, andwith teachers, how they view their own knowledge on the subject. For these goals could beachieved, there was the application of questionnaires to teachers of the school studied and also aninterview with the director of it. Therefore, it was found that environmental education is actuallybeing offered in school, as she has already developed their own projects on the topic.http://dx.doi.org/10.5902/223611703894A educação ambiental é um direito de toda a população brasileira, devendo ser disponibilizada tanto no ensino formal quanto no ensino informal. Dessa forma, o trabalho em questão visa investigar se esse ensino de fato está sendo oferecido na educação básica das escolas, para isso, foi realizada uma pesquisa em uma escola do interior do município de Vitória das Missões/RS a fim de verificar se a de educação ambiental está presente no ensino da mesma e em caso positivo de que forma os docentes vem desenvolvendo o tema com os alunos. Procurou-se também, descobrir se a escola já realizou algum projeto especifico com a temática ambiental, e junto aos professores, como eles veem seu próprio conhecimento sobre o assunto. Para que esses objetivos pudessem ser alcançados, houve a aplicação de questionários para os docentes da escola pesquisada e também uma entrevista com a diretora da mesma. Diante disso, verificou-se que a educação ambiental de fato vem sendo oferecida na escola, assim como, ela já desenvolveu projetos próprios sobre a temática
