    This research is motivated by students' numerical abilities, which are getting low, parental concern, and learning motivation. The purpose of this research was to know that there is a positive connection that significant or not numerical ability, parental concern, and the learning motivation to mathematics learning outcomes in students class VII of SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta Second Semester Year of Academic 2016/2017. This research is classified as quantitative research with the population entire in students class VII of SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Yogyakarta Second Semester Year of Academic 2016/2017 consisting of 5 classes as many as 161 students. The sample was taken by a random sampling technique to the class and obtained class VII A of 32 students sample. Data collection techniques used tests and questionnaires. Data analysis used multiple linear regression and correlation analysis. The results showed there is a positive and significant relationship among numerical ability, parental concern, and learning motivation the results of learning mathematics with  dan  so that obtained  with = 0,522432068 and 91,97803087 + 0,24612655  + 0,647302764  + 0,85573043  as well as Relative Contribution 17,274%, RC 42,307%, RC 40,419%, Effective Contribution(EC) 9,025%,EC 22,102%, 21,116%

    The reason for the research that the learning process uses in SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta tends centered to the teacher, students becoming passive and less involved in the learning process, so that needed model of learning that involved students becoming active. Model of learning that can provide opportunities for students to actively is a cooperative learning model of snowball throwing and cooperative learning model of group investigation. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the cooperative learning model of snowball throwing type and cooperative learning model of group investigation type toward mathematics learning outcomes in second grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta in odd semester academic year of 2016/2017. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 7 Yogyakarta in the first semester of the academic year 2016/2017 is divided seven classes namely class VIII A, VIII B, VIII C, VIII D, VIII E, VIII F, VIII G totaling 150 students. Samples were taken 3 classes using random sampling techniques, derived class VIII B as an experimental class I, VIII D class as the experimental class II, and VIII C class as the control class. Data analysis techniques used for prerequisite tests including normality test with chi-square formula, bartlett homogeneity test by test, and test hypotheses include F test and significant raced different (LSD). The result on significant level 5% and db = (2,98) shows (1) there are different results of the mathematics learning uses model of learning snowball throwing, model of group investigation, and model of learning expository. This is shows with value  ,  so that  and (2) the results mathematics learning of the students that use the cooperative learning model of snowball throwing better than learning process uses cooperative learning model of group investigation and model of learning expository.     Based on the information from the students of SMP Negeri 2 Pleret Bantul District, students are less conducive to the learning environment, as well as learning styles about students’ learning motivation is low. This study aims to determine whether there is a positive and significant relationship between students’ learning environment, learning style and learning motivation the mathematics learning outcomes of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Pleret Bantul District in the odd semester in the academic year of 2016/2017. The population of the research is all student's regular classes VIII of SMP Negeri 2 Pleret Bantul District of the odd semester in the academic year of 2016/2017 as many as 7 classes. Taken as a class VIII G class research sample by random sampling technique to class. Data collection techniques such as questionnaires and test engineering. Questionnaire research instrument for the variables of students’ learning environment, variable learning style, and variable learning motivation while research instrument outcome variables studied mathematics. Test using a research instrument validity, different power, and reliability testing. Analysis prerequisite test including normality test, independent test and linearity test. Data analysis for hypothesis testing using product-moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between (1) the learning environment of students with mathematics learning outcomes, with R = 0.4317; (2) learning style with mathematics learning outcomes, with R = 0.5145; (3) learning motivation with mathematics learning outcomes, with R = 0.4012; (4) the learning environment of students and learning style with mathematics learning outcomes, with R = 0.5728; (5) students' learning environment and learning motivation with mathematics learning outcomes, with R = 0.4632; (6) learning style and learning motivation with mathematics learning outcomes, with R = 0.5725; (7) the learning environment of students, learning style and learning motivation with mathematics learning outcomes, with R = 0.5874 and the linear regression equation  = -60,3895 + 0,2665  + 0,8747  + 0,5304 . Large donations are relatively  = 21,7776%,  = 58,7420%  and  = 19,4804% and the effective contribution  = 7,5134%, = 20,2664% and = 6,7209%. This shows that the way of learning style (x2) have a greater relationship to mathematics learning outcomes

    This research is motivated by VII students of SMP Negeri 9 Yogyakarta. They are less disciplined in learning, lack learning interaction with peers, and lack parental attention. This study aims to determine whether or not a positive and significant relationship among learning discipline, learning interaction with peers, and parents' attention with learning achievement of mathematics students class VIII State Junior High School (SMP Negeri) 9 Yogyakarta in odd semester academic year 2017/2018. This research population comprises all students in grade VIII of SMP Negeri 9 Yogyakarta in the odd semester academic year 2017/2018, consisting of grades VIIIA, VIIIB, VIIIC, VIIID, and VIIIE VIIIF, totaling 203 students. Sampling technique using random sampling technique and class VIII D is chosen as the sample class. The instrument of collecting data using a learning discipline questionnaire, a learning interaction questionnaire with peers, and the parent's attention and mathematics test questionnaire. The analysis prerequisite test includes a normality test, linearity tests, and independent tests. Data analysis to hypotheses testing using correlation analysis product-moment and double linear regression analysis. This research shows that if there is positive and significant learning discipline, learning interaction with peers and parents' attention with learning achievement of mathematics students class VIII SMP Negeri 9 Yogyakarta in the odd semester academic year 2017/2018.     Based on the observation that has done in SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta that some students are less conscientious in performing basic arithmetic operations. Numeric ability, verbal ability and peer are some of the factors that relate to student learning outcomes. This research aims to know about is there any positive correlation and significance or not between manner learning, mathematics communication, and learning tools with mathematics learning outcomes in students class VIII of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta in even semester in the academic year of 2016/2017. The population in this research was the students of VIII grade in SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta in the academic year of 2016/2017, consisted of class  VIIA, VIIIB, VIIIC, VIIID totaling 104 students. Samples were taken from VIIIB as the research sample class and with the random sampling technique. The writer uses the test method to collect the data of numeric ability, verbal ability and the resulting learning of math and questionnaire method to get peer interaction. The writer uses product-moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis to analyze the data. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between manner learning, mathematics communication, and learning tools with mathematics learning outcomes in students class VIII in even Semester of SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Yogyakarta in the academic year of 2016/2017. Guru berhak memperoleh kesempatan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi, memperoleh pelatihan, dan mengembangkan profesi dalam bidangnya. Dari sisi kewajiban, guru wajib memiliki kualifikasi akademik, kompetensi, sertifikat pendidik, sehat jasmani dan rohani, serta memiliki kemampuan untuk mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional. Salah satu upaya dalam menyetarakan dan menilai kinerja guru dalam hal keprofesionalan, pemerintah menggelar Uji Kompetensi Guru (UKG), yang bertujuan untuk pemetaan kompetensi.     THE EFFECTIVENESS OF QUIZ TOWARD STUDENTS MATHEMATICS LEARNING OUTCOMES ON SEVEN GRADE

    The process of learning mathematics in schools that are still lacking in training students' abilities in solving mathematical problems. Practice questions given are still not enough to train students' ability to solve math problems. Research on giving quizzes aims to improve student learning outcomes. This research is included in experimental research, which intends to determine the differences in students' motivation and mathematics learning outcomes who use quiz learning methods with scientific learning methods. This research was conducted at Junior High School (SMP) Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir, Sleman Regency, with research subjects being grade VII students of Even Semester SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir Academic Year 2017/2018. The research instrument in the form of tests of mathematics learning outcomes in multiple-choice questions. Data analysis using analysis prerequisite test consisting of normality test and homogeneity test. Test hypotheses using an average test. Based on the average test on the test results of mathematics learning, the average value of the experimental class's mathematics learning outcomes was 76.190467. The average value of the mathematics learning outcomes of the control class was 66.84818. This shows differences in the mathematics learning outcomes of the seventh-grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir Sleman in the even semester of 2017/2018 school year using quiz learning methods with students' mathematics learning outcomes using conventional learning methods. The difference in the average value of learning outcomes of the experimental class and control class is 9,342287, with the average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class. This shows the quiz learning method is more effective in mathematics learning outcomes for students of class VII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Minggir Kabupaten Sleman even semester 2017/2018 school year

    This research background is active less of VIII grade SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan Sleman on the semester academic year 2016/2017 in the learning mathematics. This research aims to increase students' activeness in the learning of mathematics using cooperative learning model type Team assisted individualization (TAI) class VIII Junior High School (SMP) Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan, Sleman semester academic even year 2016/2017. This research is a class act. The setting used is a class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan, district Sleman totaling 28 students. The study was conducted in two cycles of the first cycle and the second cycle, each cycle consisting of three meetings. The first cycle and the second cycle using cooperative learning model type TAI. Data collected by observation using observation sheet student learning activeness, and interviews. Analysis instrument using content validity. Analysis of the data used is descriptive qualitative. The result showed that using cooperative learning model type TAI can increase students' activeness in mathematics learning in class VIII student of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kalasan the school year 2016/2017. This is evident from the observation of students' learning activities in each cycle. The average percentage of student activity observation on the first cycle, 54,16%, reached sufficient criteria. On the second cycle, it increased to 63,77% that reached both criteria. From interviews with students showed a positive response to the students learning activeness

    The model of learning mathematic who are not appealing will make the student low in learning mathematic. This research aims to increase the motivation of learning mathematics by using a learning cooperative model type STAD student in class VIII A SMP Muhammadiyah Pakem Sleman District Academic Year 2016-2017. This study is a Classroom Action Research with the subject of research class VIII A SMP Muhammadiyah Pakem. Objects in this study are the motivation to learn mathematics students after learning mathematics with the STAD type cooperative learning model. The study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two face-to-face. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and questionnaires to analyze data using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the STAD type cooperative learning model could improve the motivation of learning mathematics students of class VIII A SMP Muhammadiyah Pakem Sleman District even semester of the academic year 2016/2017. This is evident from the observation of each cycle in the first cycle of 63.400% (Good), and the second cycle increased to 84.572% (Very Good). The result of the questionnaire of student's learning motivation shows that there is an increase of motivation to learn math that is seen from the mean of the survey of student's learning motivation in cycle I get percentage 70,789% (Good) and in period II increase to 82,616% (Very Good)—similarly, the results of interviews with teachers in the field of mathematics studies. From an interview with seven students of class VIII A can be concluded most of the students at the beginning of the meeting that is on the first cycle of a student, motivation has not been seen, because students have not understood the explanation submitted by researchers using STAD type cooperative learning model but at the next meeting and on cycle II Student motivation indicates an increase

    DEVELOPMENT SOCIAL ARITHMETIC MODULE USING PROBLEM SOLVING APPROACH ON SMP / MTS CLASS VII

    Teaching materials to help students understand the concept of social arithmetic and attract the attention of students is still lacking and does not motivate students in the learning process becomes a problem to do the research. Math module is one alternative teaching materials that can be used in the learning process. This research aims to develop a social arithmetic module using a problem solving approach students of class VII and assess the feasibility of the product being developed. The development of research in the Research and Development (R & D). Subjects were expert assessment of the product, math teacher of MTs Class VII and students of class VII MTs. Subjects to be tested in this study were students of class VII of MTs Maguwoharjo Sleman. The research instrument used was a questionnaire and the type of data used is the quantitative and qualitative data. Data collection techniques used were interview, documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques were used: (1) data analysis product assessment by subject matter experts and media experts, (2) data analysis product trials, analysis of trial data usage. The results of the research and development of social arithmetic module using a problem solving approach to the VII class of SMP / MTs. The results of the feasibility test of the material included in both criteria with an average score of 29.5 out of a maximum score of 40. For the feasibility study media included in both criteria with an average score of 30 out of a maximum score of 40. While the results of the student questionnaire responses into the product trials both criteria with an average score of 39 out of a maximum score of 48. The results of the questionnaire responses of students to test usage included in both criteria with an average score of 39.22 out of a maximum score of 48.
