EXtensible Markup Language (XML) is a self-describing meta-language and fast emerging a standard for Web data exchange among various applications. XML is also a new technology that attracts a great deal of interest and dominates some areas of information system development. Relational database is a mature technology that dominates the implementation of database system. This paper implements the irregular varies structures to regular structures and can be extracted XML document by using the table-based mapping into relational databases. It proposes the system that extracts the XML document from the data stored in the database. It provides a generalised mapping between relational databases and XML document that is based on Document Access Definition (DAD) and the tree structure of the Document Object Model (DOM). In this paper, the system is proposed for storing nodes of input XML document as a relational tuple by node numbering scheme. It reduces the redundant components of XML document, collects and stores the elements and contents according to their same paths

Comparative Study of Attribute Selection for Morphological Identification of Fishes

    No full text
Taxonomy is the science of naming, describingand classifying organisms that includes all plants, animals and microorganisms of the world. Usingmorphological, behavioral, genetic information andbiochemical observations, taxonomists identify anddescribe species into classification. The taxonomicidentification of fishes is a time-consuming processand making errors is indispensable for those who arenot specialists. This system proposes an automatedspecies identification system to identify taxonomiccharacters of species based on specimen and providestatistical clues for assisting taxonomists to identifyaccurate species or revision of misdiagnosed species. For this system, feature selection is an essentialstep to effectively reduce data dimensionality. This system first selects the best relevant featuresby using combination and the classificationperformance of two classifiers, Random Forest andAttributed Selected. And then correctly classifies thefish species and compares the accuracy of these twoclassifiers

Analysis of A Xi-minus Hyperon Inflight Decay Event

In this research, a Xi-minus hyperon inflight decay event which was found in nuclear emulsion of KEK E373 experiment had been analyzed. The kinetic energy and momentum of Xi-minus hyperon that was the entering point into nuclear emulsion were estimated by using the range and angle information of Xi-minus and its decay daughters, π- and Λ. The obtained values of kinetic energy and momentum were 56.69 MeV and 391.18 MeV/c, respectively

A Rare Presentation of Carcinoma Endometrium

Background Normally endometrial carcinoma presents with post-menopausal bleeding in the majority of cases. It rarely presents with haematometra. If it does, it rarely reaches the term pregnant uterus size. Case presentation This case report is a rare presentation of endometrial carcinoma which was at first diagnosed as a huge ovarian mass later found out to be haematometra intraoperatively. There was a discordant finding between the endometrial invasions with distant metastasis (Local invasion of stage 1A with lung metastasis which should be stage 4B). Conclusion It is an uncommon combined occurrence but at least we learnt there can be possible different presentation for endometrial cancer. It further proved that almost all of haematometra can turn out to be associated with endometrial carcinoma
