Lecturas territoriales: tres métodos y un recurso en la construcción del territorio como paisaje cultural: el caso del Norte de Traslasierra, Córdoba, Argentina

El estudio de una extensa y postergada región del oeste cordobés, en Argentina, obligó a revisar enfoques y a definir un conjunto de procedimientos con arreglo a las particularidades del territorio. Así, la escala del espacio, la diversidad paisajística y los escasos elementos construidos -a los que se agregó, la ausencia de cartografías y documentos escritos-, fueron los principales obstáculos que el ajuste metodológico aspiraba a sortear, a los fines de cumplir con el objetivo final: la construcción de un relato del territorio, como sustento del desarrollo futuro de la región a partir de posibles futuros proyectos de paisaje cultural.The study of an extensive and postponed region of western Cordoba in Argentina forced to review approaches and to define a set of procedures according to the particularities of the territory. Thus, the scale of the space, the landscape diversity and the few constructed elements -to which it was added, the absence of cartographies and written documents- were the main obstacles that the methodological adjustment aspired to draw, in order to comply with the final objective: the construction of a narrative of the territory, as sustenance of the future development of the region from possible future projects of cultural landscape

Constelaciones rurales serranas: lógicas de ocupación del territorio y modelos de orden en el Norte de Traslasierra, Córdoba, Argentina

Un conjunto de lecturas intencionadas, arrojadas sobre un antiguo paisaje cordobés, develan las lógicas de ocupación desarrolladas a lo largo de siglos de construcción territorial, que resultan de la combinación de pautas culturales de dominio y explotación del espacio, recursos técnicos disponibles y condiciones que el medio natural impone. De dichos procesos emergen modelos de orden territorial que, como síntesis operativa del trabajo humano acumulado en el territorio, reúnen -en su propia conformación material- las claves de futuros criterios de ordenación. A la manera de estructuras constelares, los modelos de orden expresan una forma de organización espacial y un tipo de ruralidad específicos del Norte de Traslasierra. El objetivo es arribar a un conocimiento profundo de este territorio postergado, evidenciar sus recursos culturales y paisajísticos y, a través de ellos, construir una narrativa del territorio que lo resitúe en el mapa de las regiones cordobesas.A set of intentioned readings made on an ancient Córdoba’s landscape reveal the occupation logics developed over centuries of territorial construction. These logics result from the combination of cultural ways of domination and exploitation of space, technical resources available and the natural landscape conditions imposed. From these processes, models of territorial order emerge as operational synthesis from the accumulation of human labor in the territory, gathering -in their own material structure- the key for future planning criteria. Just like constellation structures, order models express a form of spatial organization and some type of rurality specific from Northern Trasla sierra. The aim is to arrive at a deep understanding of this postponed territory, show its cultural and natural resources and, through those, build a territorial narrative that places them back on the map of Córdoba’s regions.Peer Reviewe

Los territorios periurbanos de Córdoba: entre lo genérico y lo específico

La conformación actual de la periferia de Córdoba es la consecuencia de múltiples lógicas de actuación sobre los territorios de borde urbano a lo largo de la historia de la ciudad, cuya comprensión exige el conocimiento de las teorías, voluntades y los procesos específicos involucrados, considerando el riesgo que conllevan los abordajes genéricos y las interpretaciones escasamente ancladas en la realidad espacial local. El artículo, entonces, desarrolla el proceso de construcción de aquellos territorios periurbanos de Córdoba, visto tanto desde los planes urbanos como las prácticas concretas sobre el espacio.ENG: The current shape on the outskirts of Cordoba is the result of multiple logics of action on the urban edge, over the history of the city. Their understanding requires knowledge of theories, social demands, and the specific processes involved, considering the risk associated with generic approaches, and interpretations scarcely rooted in local spatial reality. REFLEXIONS IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF AN URBAN ENVIRONMENTAL MODEL: ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS, YOUR INTERPRETATIONS BY LOCAL ACTORS AND THE IMPACTS VISUALIZATION.

The accelerate process of urban growth of little cities that integrate metropolitan areas in Latin America produced important levels of environmental degradation and social segregation. Further, local government lack technical instrument to generate a sustainable development. This paper explore, in the first part, the development of an integrated urban-ecological simulation modelling to assist municipal institutions and leaders in deciding the future planning policy for this cities category. The method comprises the integration of disperse information in a Geographical Information Systems, to analyze the site carrying capacity und the impact assessment of urban growth with temporal trend analysis and specifically the changes of residential pattern. This will build on previous technical studies where environmental problems are defined and interlinked with a series of interviews with local actors involved in the process (policymaker, economical und social actors). From this integration is clear a general recognition of the most environmental problems, but not as part of their own systems of shares and not specialised in its own territory. For this reason the structure of the proposed simulation is organized around the 3-Dimension visualization of these complex environmental process und the generation of different futures scenarios and the related impacts on the territory. MRI Tracking of Macrophages Labeled with Glucan Particles Entrapping a Water Insoluble Paramagnetic Gd-Based Agent.

PURPOSE: This study is aimed at demonstrating the in vivo potential of Gd(III)-loaded glucan particles (Gd-GPs) as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)-positive agents for labeling and tracking phagocytic cells. PROCEDURE: GPs were obtained from Saccharomyces cerevisae and loaded with the water-insoluble complex Gd-DOTAMA(C18)2. The uptake kinetics of Gd-GPs by murine macrophages was studied in vitro and the internalization mechanism was assessed by competition assays. The in vivo performance of Gd-GPs was tested at 7.05 T on a mouse model of acute liver inflammation. RESULTS: The minimum number of Gd-GPs-labeled J774.A1 macrophages detected in vitro by MRI was ca. 300 cells/μl of agar, which is the lowest number ever reported for cells labeled with a positive T1 agent. Intravenous injection of macrophages labeled with Gd-GPs in a mouse model of liver inflammation enabled the MRI visualization of the cellular infiltration in the diseased area. CONCLUSIONS: Gd-GPs represent a promising platform for tracking macrophages by MRI as a T1 alternative to the golden standard T2-based iron oxide particles
