Particle-Hole Spectral Asymmetry at the Edge of Multi-orbital Noncentrosymmetric Superconductors

Bogoliubov quasiparticles are coherent electron-hole quantum superposition which typically, for time-reversal symmetric superconductors, exhibit a spectral distribution with particle-hole symmetry. Here, we demonstrate that in two-dimensional noncentrosymmetric superconductors with inter-orbital $s$-wave spin-triplet pairing the energy profile of the density of states at the edge violates this paradigm. We unveil the spin-orbital structure of multiple Andreev reflections and how these processes lead to anomalous septet pairing states built out of mirror symmetric quasiparticles, a configuration that is symmetry prohibited in the bulk. The resulting edge-bulk pairing mismatch is the origin of the asymmetric peaks for the spectral function. Remarkably, the distribution of the asymmetric line shape can be controlled by designing the spatial profile of the inversion symmetry breaking interaction. Chinese Hosts' Intercultural Contact with Japanese International Students : Categorization of Recognition and Coping Based on the AUC·GS Learning Model

日本人留学生と交流経験を持つ、中国人ホスト学生15名及び中国人ホストファミリー6名を対象として、異文化接触における認知と対応について半構造化面接を実施し、AUC-GS学習モデル（田中・中島,2006）に基づき分析を行った。異文化に対する「気づき（A段階）｣「理解（U段階）」「対処（C段階）」の3段階につき、語りからこれらの有無を判断してカテゴリ分けを行った。異文化への気づきはあるが葛藤への理解はなく葛藤場面にも出会ったことがない、というカテゴリに最も多くのホストが分類された。従来から異文化交流の正統派であると考えられてきた、異文化への気づきと葛藤理解と葛藤対処の3段階全てが備わったカテゴリにも、4名の学生が認定された。しかし､異文化葛藤への対処の仕方は、日本人学生のそれとは異なる傾向が認められた。中国人ホストは、日本人学生が実践していたような他者視点に立った調整型の対処方法というよりは（奥西・田中,2009）、自己の視点を機軸とした寛容さの発露により解決を試みていた

Difficulties and Coping Behaviors in Interpersonal Relationship Formation among Japanese Students in France: Implications for Cross-Cultural Social Skills for Studying Abroad in France

This study examined cross-cultural difficulties experienced by Japanese students in France and their coping strategies. This study consists of 2 parts: in Study I, difficulties in interpersonal relationship formation and coping strategies were explored from the perspective of Japanese students in France. In Study II, Japanese students’ coping behaviors in France were evaluated from the hosts’ perspective. Additionally, expected coping behaviors in specific sociocultural contexts were examined. Data were obtained through questionnaire surveys and interviews. Study I demonstrated that interpersonal difficulties fell under three major categories: assertiveness, sociability, and schedule fluidity. These comprise eleven medium and four minor categories. In Study II, active coping, in which a guest student actively attempted to address a challenge, and receptive coping, in which a guest accepted the host’s behavior and perspective, received high evaluations. Hosts in Intercultural Contacts : Empirical Study on Hosts - Guest Exchanges and their Relationships

本論では､外国からのゲストを迎え入れるホストに関する先行文献を､大学における学生交流及び地域におけるホストファミリー交流という2つの教育的場面の交流に絞って概観する｡大学における 交流をみると､留学交流に関する研究蓄積が多く､特に異文化滞在者であるゲストの困難への関心が高い｡一方で､受け入れ側であるホストについての研究は､比較的僅かである｡大学での交流を巡っては､ホストとゲストの関係が進展しづらい現象が頻繁に注目されており､その原因を究明する試みから､両者間の認識の甑僻が明らかにされてきたoLかし両者の岨鯨を埋めていく方法となると､日本人と留学生の交流実践によって両者の隔たりが埋められるとする簡易な報告はあるが､学術的背景を備えた介入実践などの微密な実証研究はない｡両者の関係改善に向けた､教育的介入の研究の進展が期待される｡地域のホストファミリー交流においては､アカデミックな観点からの研究例は少なく､体験談や経験則の報告が中心となっている｡数少ないアカデミックな立場からの報告には､現状や課題を生理して報告したもの､満足度を調べたもの､特定のコミュニケーション理論に少数のサンプルを当てはめて解釈したものがみられる程度で､体系化されるに至っていない｡すなわち実証研究の質的･量的な不足が指摘できる｡ホストとゲストがどのような葛藤に出くわし､どのようなプロセスを経て関係を改善させていけるのかという問いに対しては､まずフィールドの現実に密着したデータ収集と理論化の試みが求められる｡ホストは教育交流を通じて変容するのか､それはどのような道筋を経るのか､変容は教育的に促せるのか､人為学習と自然学習はどう異なるのかなどが､今後の解明を要する課題と考えられる｡ホストとゲストの接触を巡る研究がホストの側からも蓄積されていけば､両者のダイナミックな関係がより解明できるものと期待される
