An Alternative Construction of the Quantum Action for Supergravity
We develop a method to derive the on-shell invariant quantum action of the
supergravity in such a way that the quartic ghost interaction term is explicity
determined. First, we reinvestigate the simple supergravity in terms of a
principal superfibre bundle. This gives rise to the closed geometrical BRST
algebra. Therefore we determine the open BRST algebra, which realizes the
invariance of the classical action. Then, given a prescription to build the
full quantum action, we obtain the quantum BRST algebra. Together with the
constructed quantum action this allows us to recover the auxiliary fields and
the invariant extension of the classical action.Comment: 17 pages, No figure
An Approach To The Defect Structure Analysis Of Lithium Niobate Ilmenite Type Structure
We present in this work a comparative study between the normal and the ilmenite structural of LiNbO3. Namely, the normal cation stacking sequence is replaced by the ilmenite ordering: …Nb Li vacancy Li Nb vacancy Nb Li vacancy Li Nb vacancy…. . From Safaryan’s approach which combines a ferroelectric phase transition theory and vacancy models we allows to calculate the Curie temperature in ilmenite LiNbO3. Comparatively, we showed that the ilmenite structural LiNbO3 is in an excellent agreement with experiment result than the normal LiNbO3We present in this work a comparative study between the normal and the ilmenite structural of LiNbO3.
The kariological approach of Cistus ladanifer subsp. africanus Dansereau (Cistaceae), reported for the fi rst time on populations of Morocco, highlighted the chromosomal number and formula (2n = 2x =18 = 10 m + 4 sm + 4 st); the existence of frequent endomitosis phenomenon’s. We have also noticed that in the same root we can fi nd two different shapes of chromosome: normal and in cross ones. Moreover, the two varieties which differ from their volatile aromatic secretions have the same karyotype
Experimental And Theoretical Study Of The Substitution Mechanism In The W6+: Litao3 Correlated With The Ferroelectric Properties
The purpose of the present work is to report the latest results of our experimental and theoretical non-stoichiometry investigations of solid solutions isolated close to LiTaO3 inside the ternary system Li2O-Ta2O5-(WO3)2 correlated with the ferroelectrics transitions. Dielectric measurements performed on ceramic samples have shown that ferro-paraelectric temperatures transitions TC varied along the solids solutions, as the stoichiometry deviates from LiTaO3. A Safaryan’s theory of ferroelectric transition and the various vacancy models in this work reproduce well the experimental results by explaining the substitution nature of Tungsten hexavalent (W6+) in LiTaO3.The purpose of the present work is to report the latest results of our experimental and theoretical non-stoichiometry investigations of solid solutions isolated close to LiTaO3 inside the ternary system Li2O-Ta2O5-(WO3)2 correlated with the ferroelectrics transitions.
The effectiveness of Doppler controlled hemorrhoidal artery ligation based on preliminaries results
In this work, we discuss the preliminary results of the effectiveness of the hemorrhoidal artery ligation under control Doppler as a new technique for the treatment of hemorrhoids. We report the results of patients with hemorrhoids we have followed over a period of one year who were treated with HAL Doppler. The intra-and postoperative complications were monitored. Patient follow-up was established on the immediate postoperative period, after one month, six months and one year of evolution. Monitoring parameters were both objective (prolapse) and subjective (pain, discomfort, bleeding, satisfaction). 120 patients, all stages combined, were treated with HAL Doppler. The pain is easily controlled with painkillers. Residual rectal bleeding was noted in 3% of the cases. In addition, there was one case of recurrent prolapse which underwent reoperation. After one month, 86,5 % patients were satisfied. The hemorrhoidal artery ligation under control Doppler is an easy technique, well accepted by patients who are increasingly demanding it. It is less invasive, less painful and gives fewer complications. It is not only effective for stage III and IV hemorrhoids for which the effect is spectacular but also for stages I and II symptoms, which can expand its indications.Key words: Symptomatic hemorrhoids, Hemorrhoidal Artery Ligation, Doppler, mucopexy
Effects of Sodium Bicarbonate and photoperiod on Cell Growth and morphology of Isochrysis galbana
Microalgae play a vital role in many aquaculture feed application processes. Maintaining a microalgae production facility has been estimated to account for an average of 30 % and up to 60 % of the total budget of aquaculture hatcheries, despite several research programs and global efforts to reduce production costs of algal biomass. The use of bicarbonate as carbon inorganic to produce microalgae biomass for bivalve hatcheries was proposed as an alternative to reduce this cost. The focus of this investigation is characterization of the interaction of bicarbonate-based microalgae cultivation and photoperiod on the growth rate and production of brown microalgae Isochrysis galbana. The salt was provided to the cultures at the final concentration from 0.5 to 2.5 g L-1. Concerning photoperiod, two cycles of light:dark (6:18 and 12:12) were studied under light intensity at 160 µmol m-2 s-1. The growth rate of Isochrysis galbana showed values significantly higher in the culture supplemented with 0.5 and 1 g L-1 of NaHCO3 respectively under cycles 6L:18D and 12L:12D. Bicarbonate administration leads to a significant increase in cellular size at the stationary phase, probably related to starch or lipid accumulation. This study proved that the addition of bicarbonate is a viable strategy to enhance the production of microalgae and reduce production costs
Calculated Electronic Energy Loss of Heavy Ions at Low Energies in LR-115, Kapton, SiO2, and Al2O3 Amorphous Materials
The electronic stopping powers of LR-115 and Kapton polymeric foilshave been estimated, using Monte Carlo simulations, for 9Be, 11B, 12C, 14N, 16O, and 35Cl ions covering the energy range ~0.1-1.0 MeV/n. Comparison of stopping power based on Lindhard, Scharff, and Schiott (LSS) theory with the corresponding values obtained by SRIM and MSTAR codes in LR-115 and Kapton polymeric foils illustrate a significantly large deviations. However, a semiempirical equation has been proposed here and tested for better stopping power calculations at low-energy regime in the domain of LSS theory for ZÂ =Â 4-8 ions across materials. Furthermore, the electronic energy losses for 9Be and 16O ions in SiO2 and Al2O3, respectively, have been calculated in the energy range of ~0.1-1.0 MeV/n. The calculated stopping powers exhibit up to 10 % deviation from the experimental values and MSTAR data
