Icmapen: an icmetric based security framework for sleep apnea monitoring
Smart devices are becoming increasingly powerful which is why they are being used for point of care health services. Wearable devices can be purchased which allow continuous monitoring of a wearers vital signs. The data is generated, processed and stored remotely where it can be readily accessible to health professionals. Recent attacks on healthcare systems and health data shows that the systems are insecure and that security is a major hurdle in their wide adoption. Conventional cryptographic systems rely on stored keys for the provision of security. The stored keys can be captured in many ways which leads to the system being exposed. The ICMetric technology remedies this by eliminating the need for stored keys. Thus, the ICMetric technology functions as a key theft deterrent and as a basis for cryptographic services. This paper studies the design and implementation of an ICMetric based health monitoring system for people diagnosed with sleep apnea. The proposed system provides key generation, authentication and confidentiality by using the novel ICMetric technology. The proposed scheme is constituent of a cloud computing component which enables remote monitoring and data storage for access by health professionals. This paper studies the performance of the proposed schemes by studying the running time. The security of the scheme has also been studied to show that the system provides high levels of security without resource compromise. Keywords: ICMetric; Sleep apnea; Cloud computing; Authentication; Confidentialit
Inter-band magnetoplasmons in mono- and bi-layer graphene
Collective excitations spectrum of Dirac electrons in mono and bilayer
graphene in the presence of a uniform magnetic field is investigated.
Analytical results for inter-Landau band plasmon spectrum within the
self-consistent-field approach are obtained. SdH type oscillations that are a
monotonic function of the magnetic field are observed in the plasmon spectrum
of both mono- and bi-layer graphene systems. The results presented are also
compared with those obtained in conventional 2DEG. The chiral nature of the
quasiparticles in mono and bilayer graphene system results in the observation
of and Berry's phase in the SdH- type oscillations in the plasmon
spectrum.Comment: 9 pages, 2 figure
Research Notes : Pakistan : Path-coefficient analysis of developmental and yield components in soybean
Abstract: Interrelationships among different characters were determined by simple correlations and path-coefficient analysis using 36 diverse and elite cultivars representing different geographical origin. The results revealed a highly significant positive association of the branches per plant and pods per plant with grain yield. The pods per plant also showed a high direct influence on grain yield. Thus, from this investigation, it is suggested that pods per plant and number of branches per plant are the primary yield components that should be given due emphasis in selecting high yielding genotypes in soybean
Research Notes : Pakistan : Variability for some quantitative traits in soybean
Abstract: Studies on variability in soybean were taken up to work out the magnitude of genetic variability, heritability, and genetic advance among 36 varieties of soybean. Considerable genetic variability was observed for pods per plant, plant height, and grain yield per plant. High heritability and genetic advance were recorded for number of pods per plant and branches per plant. Thus, yield could be considerably improved through intensive selection pressure based on number of pods per plant and branches per plant
Search for a Signal on QCD Critical Point in Central Nucleus-Nucleus Collisions
We discuss that the QCD critical point could appear in central collisions in
percolation cluster. We suggest using the nuclear transparency effect and the
one of the light nuclear production to identify the critical point.Comment: To appear in the proceedings of the 20th International Conference on

Lepton Polarization Asymmetry in B l l(bar) decays in R-parity violating Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model
We study the implication of R-parity violating Rp Minimal Supersymmetric
Standard Model (MSSM) model in lepton polarization asymmetry ALP in B l l(bar)
decays . The analysis show that the ALP is significant in a certain
phenomenological parametric region of Yukawa couplings. We have also placed
indirect bounds on Lambda' lambda couplings as obtained from B t t(bar).Comment: 6 pages, 4 figures Changes of notation in Eq(8-11,17-19),Eq.20 adde
Status Gizi dan Riwayat Komplikasi Kehamilan sebagai Determinan Kejadian Komplikasi Persalinan di Kab. Mamuju
Unified decoupling scheme for exchange and anisotropy contributions and temperature-dependent spectral properties of anisotropic spin systems
We compute the temperature-dependent spin-wave spectrum and the magnetization
for a spin system using the unified decoupling procedure for the high-order
Green's functions for the exchange coupling and anisotropy, both in the
classical and quantum case. Our approach allows us to establish a clear
crossover between quantum-mechanical and classical methods by developing the
classical analog of the quantum Green's function technique. The results are
compared with the classical spectral density method and numerical modeling
based on the stochastic Landau-Lifshitz equation and the Monte Carlo technique.
As far as the critical temperature is concerned, there is a full agreement
between the classical Green's functions technique and the classical spectral
density method. However, the former method turns out to be more straightforward
and more convenient than the latter because it avoids any \emph{a priori}
assumptions about the system's spectral density. The temperature-dependent
exchange stiffness as a function of magnetization is investigated within
different approaches
