    Antibacteri Activity of Bay Leaf Infuse (Folia Syzygium Polyanthum Wight) to Escherichia Coli In-vitro

    In the concentration of 10 %, 20%, 30%, 40%, 80%, and 100% bay leaf infuse (Folia Syzygium polyanthum Wight) has been tested it’s antimicrobial activity to Escherichia coli by diffusion method.Methods: Mueller hinton plate which has been intervented by Escherichia coli and bay leaf infuse incubated in temperature 37°C for 24 hours in microaerophilia environment. Result: There is no clear zone on Mueller hinton plate at the intervention of all infuse concentration. Conclusion: The conclusion is there is no antimicrobial activity to Escherichia coli growth of bay leaf infuse

    The study was conducted to determine the relationship between spiritual intelligence with resilience in students who attend an accelerated program. The populations in this study were students at SMAN acceleration in Malang as many as 194 students. The samples in this study were female students of SMAN accelerated program in the city of Malang by 55 students. Sampling in this study use purposive sampling technique. The process of data analysis is the product moment correlation. Results for resilience scale of 60 items made as many as 54 valid item items. As for the scale of spiritual intelligence of 60 items made, as much as 55 valid item items. Reliability test results obtained values for resilience scale reliability coefficient of 0.917. As for the spiritual intelligence scale values obtained reliability coefficient of 0.935 so that the reliability test results showed the existence of a reliable degree. The results of the analysis of data obtained r count greater than r table (0.687> 0.266) with a correlation index (r xy) of 0.687 at a significance level of 0.05 which indicates that there is a positive relationship between the resilience of the spiritual intelligence, so that the working hypothesis (Ha) states that there is a relationship between resilience with spiritual intelligence, accepted

    Educational success is largely determined by the performance of teachers in education. This study aims to examine the contribution of teacher competencies and motivation role in determining the teacher performance. The population in this study were teachers GMI Emmanuel Education Foundation by 74 people. Instruments used in this study was a questionnaire enclosed, was tested with test validity and reliability. The method analysis used discriminant analysis, cluster analysis, Regression, and Path Analysis. The results of cluster analysis showed most teachers who have a positive attitude toward the teacher performance variables.     Directorate of Academic Advancement and Learning Resources Universitas Indonesia (DPASDP UI) established in 2020 and one of sub-directorate "Learning Resources" main role is to support learning activities in UI by managing learning facilities such as learning management system (EMAS), computer laboratory, video conference room, and production house. The covid-19 pandemic forced all learning to be held at a distance and fully online, which was only 20% of courses using LMS before the pandemic. Thousands of classes need to be opened in EMAS, so non-eLearning teachers face confusing situations. Several support-system efforts have been opened and revitalized, such as providing migrate-to-online learning guidelines, organizing more teacher training, upgrading the LMS, and establishing a fully online helpdesk. Moreover, the UI strategic plan year 2022 revision has mandated UI to be more implementing technology and increase the number of MOOCs opened, so more facilities development is certainly needed.     Garbage is currently a key issue in large cities, especially in Indonesia. To reduce waste generation in urban conducted flagship program 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) are expected waste generation can be reduced or even not left at all. The general requirements for waste management one of them is in terms of public participation aspects. This study aimed determine the relationship between community participation with the functioning IWMS Saeman Padangsari, Semarang. This study was observational analytic with cross sectional approach. Samples in this research were 38 respondent. The results showed that there was a relationship of public participation in segregation from the source to the functioning IWMS Saeman, there is a relationship of community participation in waste management using the concept of 3R with functioning IWMS Saeman, there is public participation in relation to pay contributions to the functioning of IWMS Saeman, there is no relationship of public participation in comply with the rules of landfills that have been assigned to the functioning IWMS Saeman, there is no relationship of community participation in maintaining the cleanliness of the surrounding environment with functioning IWMS Saeman, there is a relationship of community participation in an active role in the socialization of environmental waste management with the functioning IWMS Saeman.     Malaria is still one of public health problems that is responsible for the high number of death in many countries all over the world until nowadays. It is a disease that threatens people, especially those who live in endemic area. High morbidity and other issues that arise as a result of malaria can impede the development in health field. In Kulon Progo Regency, the API (Annual Parasite Incidence) was 0,28 0/00 in 2013, 0,20 0/00 in 2014, and until February 2015, it has been 29 cases with API 0,07 0/00. Some factors that influence malaria disease outbreak are physical environment and residents behavior. This research aims to analyze the relation between physical environment and residents behavior with malaria diseases outbreak in Puskesmas Kokap II working area. Observational analysis method was employed to do the research, with case control approach. The samples of the research were Malaria sufferers in January 2012 up to February 2015 in Puskesmas Kokap II working area, Kulon Progo Regency. There were 37 respondents in case group and also 37 respondents in control group. The data analysis used chi square test and odds ratio (OR). The result of the research showed that there were relations between the presence of ceilings (p value = 0,000 OR = 22,969), the types of the wall (p value = 0,000 OR = 8,488), the presence of breeding places, the presence of resting places (p value = 0,000 OR = 58,556), outdoor activities (p value = 0,000 OR = 10,828), the use of long clothes (p value = 0,000 OR = 16,074), the use of mosquito nets (p value = 0,007 OR = 5,022), and cleaning activities (p value = 0,001 OR = 5,317) with Malaria disease outbreak. However, the temperature inside the house, the humidity inside the house, the lighting intensity inside the house, the presence of wire gauzes, the presence of cages, and the use of drugs, had no relation with Malaria disease.The conclusion of the research is the presence of ceilings, the types of wall, the presence of breeding places, the presence of resting places, outdoor activities, the use of long clothes, the use of mosquito nets, and cleaning activities had relation with Malaria disease outbreak
