Credibility and adjustment: gold standards versus currency boards

It is often maintained that currency boards (CBs) and gold standards (GSs) are alike in that they are stringent monetary rules, the two basic features of which are high credibility of monetary authorities and the existence of automatic adjustment (non discretionary) mechanism. This article includes a comparative analysis of these two types of regimes both from the perspective of the sources and mechanisms of generating confidence and credibility, and the elements of operation of the automatic adjustment mechanism. Confidence under the GS is endogenously driven, whereas it is exogenously determined under the CB. CB is a much more asymmetric regime than GS (the adjustment is much to the detriment of peripheral countries) although asymmetry is a typical feature of any monetary regime. Use of pharmacotherapy at the treatment of osteomuscular pathology in the patients working under harmful labour conditions

Обследовано 60 пациентов с остеопорозом и остеоартрозом коленных суставов. Диагностическая программа включала остеоденсиметрию, исследование маркеров костной резорбции. При лечении использовали комплексную терапию, применение которой обеспечило достижение более выраженного и пролонгированного эффекта, привело к улучшению «качества» кости, уменьшению выраженности болевого синдрома и психо-эмоциональных нарушений.Обстежено 60 паціентів с остеопорозом та остеоартрозом колінних суглобів. Діагностична програма включала остеоденсітометрію, дослідження маркерів кісткової резорбції. У лікуванні застосовували комплексну терапію. Застосування забезпечило більш виражений і пролонгований терапевтичний ефект, покращилась "якість" кістки, зменшився больовий синдром і психо-емоційні порушення.They have examined 60 patients with osteoporosis and osteoarthrosis of the knee joint. Diagnostic program included osteodensimetry, investigation of osteal markers resorbtion. Under treatment they have used complex therapy which allowed to achieve prolog and marked therapeutical effect, improve osteal “quality”, reduce algetic syndrome and psycho-emotional disturbances
