Effectiveness of application of chamomile oil on phlebitis among patient undergoing chemotheraphy

BACKGROUND: Phlebitis is the one of the most common complication of the administration of intravenous therapy. It is an inflammation of a vein that may be caused by infection, and presence of a foreign body due to the frequent injections and recurring phlebitis, scar tissue build up along the vein. Application of chamomile oil is one of the non-pharmacological method of phlebitis management and is been widely practiced in many countries. It is the one of the safe, simple to learn, effective and non invasive method of phlebitis management. MATERIAL AND METHOD: The design adopted was pre experimental one group pre test, post test design. The Convenience sampling technique was used to select the samples. The tool used for data collection procedure was modified visual infusion phlebitis scale. Chamomile oil was applied to those in the phlebitis patients on 3 times a day for 3 consecutive days. RESULTS: The study findings revealed that the pre test mean score was 7.76 and the post test score was 2.19 (MD = 5.57). The obtained “t” value 11.27 was statistically significant at p > 0.05. CONCLUSION: The application of chamomile oil reduced the level of phlebitis among patients undergoing chemotherapy

Pengaruh Penyajian Laporan Keuangan Daerah dan Aksesibilitas terhadap Penggunaan Informasi Keuangan Daerah (Studi pada Provinsi Riau)

This study aims to determine examine whether the accessibility of local financial reports and presentation of them influence the usefulness of local financial information by the stakeholders. The population in this study is 580 people usefulness financial reports in Riau Provincial Government is DPRD, BPK, LSM. Samples in this study is 85 responden has already accomplish sample criterion. Data collection techniques are used by distributing questionnaires.The results showed that the effect of persentation of local financial reports on the usefulness of local financial information. This can be seen from the significant value of 0.040 < 0.05. Accessibility on the usefulness of local financial information. Evidenced by the significant value of 0.000 < 0.05.Adjusted R Square value of 0.371. this means that 37.10% of usefulness of local financial information variables can be explained by the presentation of local financial reports and accessibility. Pengaruh Pengawasan Intern, Sistem Anggaran Berbasis Kinerja dan Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Keuangan Daerah terhadap Kinerja Satuan Kerja Perangkat Daerah (Studi Empiris pada Skpd Kabupaten Rokan Hulu)

This study aimed to examine the influence of the internal control, performance based budgeting system, financial management information system on SKPD performance. The population in this study were employed who worked in the SKPD Kabupaten Rokan Hulu (27 government agencies). The sampling method used in this study is proportioned stratified random sampling method. The respondent in this study is the employee Eselon III and Eselon IV SKPD. The sample used in this study were 108 respondents. The hypotheses then tested is multiple linear regression analysis by using SPSS version 20.0. The result of this study indicated that theinternal control, performance based budgeting system, financial management information system has significantly effect on SKPD performence. The magnitude of the effect (R2) the internal control, performance based budgeting system, financial management information system, the performance of SKPD was ,45,7%. While the remaining 54,3% is influenced by other independent variabel that are not observed in this study

The research aims to examine The Influence of supervision attached, monitoring functional, preventive supervision, detective supervision and performance-based budgeting to the effectiveness of budgetary control. Object of this research is department of the city government in Indragiri Hilir. There are sixty four which are sent but, only sixty questionnaires returned. The variables were examined are Influence of supervision attached, monitoring functional, preventive supervision, detective supervision and performance-based budgeting to the effectiveness of budgetary control. The results of this research showed that supervision attached has an effect on effectiveness of budgetary control with 0,031 significance, the monitoring functional has an effect on effectiveness of budgetary control with 0,19 significance, preventive supervision has an effect on effectiveness of budgetary control with 0,017 significance, detective supervision has an effect on effectiveness of budgetary control with 0,14 significance, and performance-based budgeting has no effect on effectiveness of budgetary control with 0,65 significance. The results of this research also showed that coefficient determinant is 92,8%. Each independent variables, gives the strong influence to dependent variable, it means independents variables could explain dependent variable well

This study aims to determine the effect of applying government accounting standards, internal control system and the competency of accounting staff to the quality of local government financial reports statement of the regency government of Dumai. Research was conducted at “satuan kerja perangkat daerah”(departements of the reregency government of Dumai). The population in this study is a staff / employees who are involved in the process of preparing financial statements. Sample collection technique using purposive Sampling and the respondents totalled 78 people. The type of data used are primary data. The collection of data by way of a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 20.00.The results showed that the application of the accounting standards of governance, internal control system and the competence of accounting staff positive and significant impact on the quality of local government financial reports Kota Dumai. The coefficient of determination shows the effect of the application of the accounting standards of governance, internal control system and the competence of accounting staff positive and significant impact on the quality of local government financial statements amounted to73.4%
