A hálózatalapú vezetési-irányítási rendszerek mint a hadtörténeti kutatás lehetséges jövőbeli forrásai [Network-Based Command-Control Systems as Possible Sources for Future Military History Research]

A XXI. század olyan változásokat hozott a hadviselésben, amik felvetik a kérdést, hogy a hadtudomány részterületeként a hadtörténeti kutatás képes lesz-e a hagyományos forrásokra támaszkodva a jövőben is hatékonyan ellátni a feladatát. A napjainkban alapvető forrásként használt, törzseknél keletkező dokumentumok nem feltétlenül adnak pontos és részletes képet az erők, eljárások és technológiák újszerű alkalmazásáról a jövő hadtörténészei számára. Jelen írás a vezetés és irányítás technológiai hátterének változásain keresztül igyekszik bemutatni a jövőbeni kihívások egyik körét és az ezekre adható válaszok kapcsán néhány lehetőséget. Ennek során a szerző bemutat néhány párhuzamot a harctéri vezetés és az elemző hadtörténeti kutatás között, ezzel igyekszik rávilágítani a két terület kapcsolatára. | The 21st century has brought such changes in warfare that the question arises if military history research, as part of military sciences, will still be able to operate using only traditional sources. The documents produced at staff level, used today as primary sources of research, will not necessary be able to provide an appropriate and detailed picture for future historians about the new kinds of adapted forces, procedures and technologies. This paper attempts to draw the attention to some future challenges for military historians also trying to answer them through the changes of C2 supporting technological background. While doing so some parallels will be presented between the battlefield commanding procedure and the analytic military history research, thus revealing the relation between the two fields
