    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja dengan motivasi sebagai variabel intervening. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Provinsi Riau. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang diberikan kepada 148 karyawan Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Provinsi Riau yang menggunakan Sampel Sensus. Metode analisis deskriptif digunakan untuk menggambarkan karakteristik responden dan hipotesis penelitian dengan menggunakan uji statistik yang relevan. Variabel yang digunakan adalah kepemimpinan sebagai variabel independen, kinerja sebagai variabel dependen dan motivasi terhadap variabel mediasi. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis jalur dengan menggunakan program SPSS 21 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap motivasi, kepemimpinan memiliki pengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap kinerja, dan motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Secara tidak langsung, motivasi memiliki peran mediasi positif pada pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap kinerja. Perbaikan kepemimpinan direkomendasikan untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja dan motivasi karyawan

    THE INFLUENCE OF CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND MANAGEMENT COMPENSATION ON COMPANY PERFORMANCE WITH INDEPENDENT COMMISSIONERS AS MODERATING VARIABLES

    Company performance is a measure of management's success in running the company. This study aims to empirically examine the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility and management compensation on company performance with independent commissioners as moderating variables. This study uses quantitative methods with multiple regression analysis techniques. The population in this study was all banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2018-2020 with a total sample of 78 companies. The results of the tests that have been carried out show that Corporate Social Responsibility has a negative effect on company performance. Management compensation has an effect on company performance. Furthermore, Corporate Social Responsibility has an effect on company performance with independent commissioners as a moderating variable. Finally, management compensation has an effect on company performance with independent commissioners as a moderating variable

    Business competition between companies requires companies to be able to survive by improving company performance. However, this has not been noticed by several banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange which shows that the dominant company's performance has decreased from 2017 to 2019. The increase in company performance is inseparable from the ownership structure owned by parties with an interest in the company such as CEO power. and the role of independent commissioners. The purpose of this study was to obtain empirical evidence that CEO power has an effect on company performance and independent commissioners can moderate the relationship between CEO power and company performance. This study uses quantitative methods with multiple regression analysis while the population of this study are all banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2017 to 2019. The results of this study indicate that CEO Power has no effect on financial performance.     The research was conducted on processing section Crude Palm Oil PT Eluan Mahkota that aimed to figure out the impact of placement, work environmet of work productivity, either simultaneously or partially. The population of the research was all of the processing section Crude Palm Oil PT Eluan Mahkota. Total sample of 83 respondents on processing section Crude Palm Oil PT Eluan Mahkota. The sampling technique used is simple random side and multiple linier regression analysis. Simultaneous regression (F test) showed that the independent variables studied (Placement and Work Environment) together (simultaneously) have a significant influence on the dependent variable (Work Productivity). Partial test (t test) shows, the independent variables have a significant effect on effectiveness of Work Productivity. There is a high contribution of the variable placement and work environment on the Effectiveness of work productivity in processing section Crude Palm Oil PT Eluan Mahkota, the illustrated by the coefficient of determination obtained. From the result of this research which should be observed is the effectiveness and efficiency of employees to be able to achieve maximum result. Placement must be conform with ability of employees. In any situations, employees must be controlling emotions and then works with the existing rules
