Pengaruh Art Therapy terhadap Kualitas Hidup Anak Kanker yang Menjalani Kemoterapi

Continuous chemotherapy causes side effects in children, one of which affects the quality of life of children. The quality of life of children with cancer can be improved by providing complementary and alternative therapies, one of which is art therapy. Objective: To determine art therapy's effect on the quality of life of cancer children undergoing chemotherapy. Methods: The design of this study was a quasi-experimental one-group pre-test post-test on 30 children with cancer who underwent chemotherapy. The art therapy in this study was coloring activities. Quality of life assessed using PedsQoL instruments (Pediatric‘s Quality of Life) Generic 4.0. Data analysis used the Mann-Whitney test. Results: The average age of children with cancer was ten, and more than half (53.3%) were male. Most of them were diagnosed with Acute Leukemia Limfoblastic and more than half (73.3%) were diagnosed more than six months. There was a difference in the quality of life of children with cancer before and after being given art therapy with a p-value = 0.000 (<0.05). Art therapy affected the quality of life of cancer children undergoing chemotherapy with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). Edukasi Bounding Attachment dalam Upaya Menciptakan Hubungan Ibu dan Anak setelah Melahirkan

The Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey results in 2017 showed that the MMR was 305/100,000 births and the IMR in Indonesia was 24/100,000 live births. One way to overcome MMR and IMR is to implement bounding attachments. There are various ways to do bounding attachments, including Early Initiation of Breastfeeding and exclusive breastfeeding. The achievement of Exclusive Breastfeeding in the Working Area of ​​the Air Cold Health Center is 66.5%, still far from the government's target of 80%. Independent Practice Midwife Silvia Nova Sari is one of the PMBs in the working area of ​​the Air Cold Health Center, Balai Gadang Village, Koto Tangah District, Padang City. Based on interviews with breastfeeding mothers at PMB Silvia Nova Sari, it was found that most mothers did not know about bounding attachments and how to create them. Likewise with PMB owners, that as health workers, not all mothers get bounding attachment education to pregnant women. Activities carried out include health promotion by providing information and education to pregnant women and their families with a Focus Group Discussion approach on creating bounding attachments between mothers and babies, which was held on 30 September-1 October 2020. Each stage was attended by five pregnant women with due observance of health protocols. The result of bounding attachment education for pregnant women is that almost all mothers experience an increase in knowledge about bounding attachment, seen from the questionnaire results given before and after education

Peningkatan Pengetahuan Dan Edukasi Sikap Remaja Putri Tentang Kesehatan Reproduksi Di Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Kec. Kuranji Kota Padang

ABSTRAK Permasalahan kesehatan reproduksi pada remaja putri bukan hanya masalah tentang seksualitas tetapi juga masalah tentang personal hygiene, dan masalah menstruasi yang dapat memicu banyak penyakit pada organ reproduksi. Hasil wawancara dengan ketua Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Cabang Ampang Kec. Kuranji Kota Padang, di Panti Asuhan  sudah banyak kedatangan tim pengabdian masyarakat dari berbagai universitas kota Padang, namun belum pernah mendapatkan sosialisasi mengenai kesehatan reproduksi pada remaja, mereka belum pernah mendapatkan materi secara khusus tentang kesehatan reproduksi sehingga dirasa perlu dan penting materi ini disampaikan kepada remaja putri di Panti. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan remaja putri Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Ampang tentang kesehatan reproduksi, personal hygiene  dan personal hygiene saat menstruasi, menjaga hak-hak reproduksi serta perubahan sikap atau perilaku remaja putri tentang menjaga kesehatan reproduksinya. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada tanggal 17 September 2021 di Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Cabang Ampang Kec. Kuranji Kota Padang dengan jumlah sasaran yang hadir 23 orang. Kegiatan ini di awali dengan pengukuran tinggi badan, dan berat badan remaja, setelah itu pengisian kusioner pre dan dilanjutkan dengan pemberian materi tentang kesehatan reproduksi  dan personal hygiene, kemudian diakhiri dengan demonstrasi cara membersihkan organ intim perempuan melalui alat peraga phantom kelamin perempuan. Hasil Pengabdian didapatkan Remaja  memiliki status gizi normal berdasarkan pemeriksaan status gizi (BB/TB). Tingkat pengetahuan remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi pada saat pre test yang berpengatahuan rendah tentang kesehatan reproduksi lebih dari separoh yaitu 65,3% dan yang berpengetahuan tinggi tidak sampe separoh yaitu 34,7 %. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dan edukasi hasil dari post tes tingkat pengetahuan mereka meningkat yaitu sebagian besar yaitu 91,3 % berpengatahuan tinggi dan pengetahuan rendah 8,7 %. Terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan remaja setelah dilakukan penyuluhan dan perubahan sikap remaja putri Panti Asuhan Aisyiyah Ampang mengenai personal hygiene yang berkaitan dengan kesehatan reproduksiDiharapkan kerjasama dari berbagai pihak untuk mengenali dan mengatasi masalah pada remaja agar terhindar dari berbagai masalah kesehatan reproduksi. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Sikap, Kesehatan Reproduksi, Remaja ABSTRACT  Reproductive health problems in adolescent girls are not only about sexuality but also about personal hygiene, and menstrual problems that can trigger many diseases in the reproductive organs. Obtained from the target number of 33 people, 23 people attended, 10 more people could not attend because there were activities. All adolescents who attended had normal nutritional status based on nutritional status examination (BB/TB). The level of knowledge of adolescents about reproductive health at the time of the pre-test with low knowledge of reproductive health was more than half, namely 65.3% and those with high knowledge were less than half, namely 34.7%. After counseling and education, the results of the post-test increased their knowledge level, namely, most of them were 91.3% with high knowledge and 8.7% low knowledge. There was an increase in adolescent knowledge after counseling and changes in the attitude of the Aisyiyah Ampang Orphanage regarding personal hygiene related to reproductive health.
