    Improvement of Oil and Water Separation in Three-Phase Conventional Separator Using Hydrocyclone Inlet Device

    This report entitled Improvement of Oil and Water Separation in Three-Phase Conventional Separator Using Hydrocyclone Inlet Device. The main objective is to investigate the effectiveness of HID in improving the oil and water separation process in a mature field with high percentage of water produced in the production. Mature field has always been related to production with high water produced, known as high water cut. A conventional separator cannot anticipate large inflow of water. Production with high water cut will reduce the separation efficiency and thus cannot recover hydrocarbon to its optimum. It has been found out that a Hydrocyclone Inlet Device (HID) can improve the hydrocarbon separation and maximize recovery of liquid hydrocarbon from fluid stream. HID is a device located at the inlet of separator and using cyclonic effect to enhance the separation process by inducing a centrifugal flow path within its tapered tubes. There are two stages of project milestone which are project development and implementation. Both stages are run within one year time frame. The scopes of study during project development are feasibility study and design prototype. As for project implementation stage, the scopes of work are construct prototype, design and conduct experiment, performing data analysis and evaluation of results. A small, basic prototype of gravitational separator with HID was constructed to study the cyclonic effect of oil and water separation. The investigation was done by conducting several experiments using separator with and without HID from low to high water-oil ratio percentages. The result shows that HID will always improve the efficiency of separation in term of separation time reduction about 20 to 35% regardless of water cut percentages. Volume of oil recovered increased through improved separation up to 14 %. Emulsion thickness is also reduced faster than conventional separator at 1st minute of separation. In conclusion, Hydrocyclone Inlet Device is feasible to retrofit with conventional separator as to improve the oil and water separation in high water production

    Productivity of small industry in Indonesia might be one of the causes of lacking of capital for the procurement of modern machine tools such as CNC (Computer Numerical Control). The purpose of this research is to make the mechanical components of CNC machine and assemble that to produce machine with cheapest prices. Therefore, the machine selling price can be reached by small industry actors. In this research, all mechanical components was made using machining process and was assembled, which using the finished components that can already be found on the market. The machining process included milling, drilling, grinding, sawing and tapping. Engine components to be assembled including of the frame, liner guide, transmission system and drive system in order to form a perfect CNC machine. Joining system of such machine components used a permanent joining such as welding, and temporary joining using bolts. The assembly also used an exchangeable assembly method, so that faster component assembly time and in replacement of damaged components that can be replaced with similar components on the market

    The CNC (Computer Numerically Controlled) machine is a tool equipped with a computer-controlled mechanical and control system capable of reading N, G, F, T, and other code instructions. The codes will be instructed to the CNC machine interface system, so that the machine can work in accordance with the program listings that have been made. In general the selling price of this machine is still very high. Therefore, in this study designed a CNC machine with low cost which is intended for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This CNC milling assembly machine has 3 axes that is X, Y and Z axis. In this research, the CNC milling 3 axes machine is consists of several important components such as guide ways, transmission system, driver and controller. These components are widely available in the market. CNC milling machine has dimensions size of machine length of 700 mm x width of 600 mm x height of 1227 mm. the CNC milling machine 3 axes has advantages that can make several types of wood carving products and acrylic. The results of the test where obtained accuracy of CNC milling 3 axes machine for Y axis that was 0.1946 mm and for X axis of 0.2463 mm

    This Study aims to analyze the effect credit per GDP, General allocation funds (DAU), And average length of scholling in the gini ratio. The data used is secondary data, derived from the publication of the central bureau of statistics, directorate general of fiscal balance and bank indonesia, in the form of annual data from 2010 to 2018. the analytical method used is panel data regression with the number of objects in 32 provinces in indonesia, except dki jakarta and north kalimantan provinces. The results showed that credit per grdp had a significant positive effect on the gini ratio at the 95% confidence level, the general allocation funds (dau) had a significant positive effect on the gini ratio at the 99% confidence level and the average length of schooling had a significant negative effect on the gini ratio at the level of confidence. 99% confidence

    Generally, cement factories produce secondary product in the form of split stone. Split stone products are produced from basalt rock crashed into aggregates of a certain size. This research is based on the results of split stone production, which is not following the target at a cement factory on the island of Sumatra. It creates production losses and financial losses. One of the causes of the incompatibility of the split stone production target is the non-optimal performance of the stone crusher machine. This research conducted a study related to the calculation of the stone crusher machine efficiency. Data in the real production capacity was obtained from recorded data in the field for twelve months. From the data obtained, the highest efficiency of the stone crusher machine of 58.32% occurred in the first month with a total production loss of 1,086 tons or equivalent to Rp. 217,296,000. The lowest efficiency of the stone crusher of 3.52% occurred in the eighth month with a total production loss of 12,133 tons or equivalent to Rp 4,478,112,000

    The Javanese society is a syncretism society, means that a religion value and culture in the Java is a result of Hinduism­and Buddhism values and ancestor values with Islamic values. One of the syncretism cultures is tahlilan. The “tahlilan” has been exist until now because there is a positive belief of the “tahlilan” that is from a knowledge. This positive belief will finally give a motive to join in “tahlilan”. Therefore, this purpose of the research is to know how the belief of Javanese society related to “tahlilan” and the motive of it. \ud This research uses a qualitative method by using a descriptive approach. \ud The research subjects are an Islamic forum of tahlilan of Dusun Rambaan, desa Landungsari­Dau and consist of seven people who are decided by using a purposive sampling. The method of data finding is by interviewing semi ­structurally, and the technique of data validity by using triangulation sources. \ud The research has founded that their belief related to “tahlilan” is kown it is one of activities giving some positive advantages, such as it is a worship form \ud to Allah SWT, some hopes received quickly because the people pray together, soul in the grave will be happy, and still wait to be given a praying. The “tahlilan” is a way to be peace and a forum to make unity for the society. This belief exists because the “tahlilan” is a tradition that had been taught by generation to generation. A society’s knowledge of it has not come from a learning product \ud involving efforts of searching rationally, but it is from tradition. The “tahlilan” has existed because the Javanese society is a social society, so that the individual \ud dependent level toward his environment will be high. The “tahlilan” is a concrete something of values taking by Javanese society and concluded in a one phrase “sakti mamayu hayuning bawana” (to keep world welfare). \ud A positive belief of the “tahlilan” makes finally a motive to join it. The main motive of the society joining the “tahlilan” is a social motive besides theological and objective motive. The society joins it because they want to create a peace and meet with their friends. Therefore, if we do not join in the “tahlilan”, we feel alone and disquiet because of cannot meet together with our friends
