A Prototype of MyoWare (Electromyography Muscle Sensor) for Measuring People’s Muscle Strengths
Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) becomes a solution to help humans connect with computers. Research and tools related to HCI have been developed by many researchers. HCI is able to help humans connect between humans and computers and humans with humans at a considerable distance. One of HCI model is applied to the MyoWare tool that can capture hand muscle movements using an electromyograph (EMG) sensor. This article describes how to assemble and identify the raw data generated from the MyoWare tool. Using MyoWare on the hand could produce EMG data output. MyoWare only used the EMG sensor and generated data in the form of Envelope EMG and Raw EMG which differed in scale and size. This required a extraction features process to make the data uniform. This study uses the Moment Invariant method to extract features and min-max to normalize each data generated on the MyoWare sensor. Testing was done by doing simple hand movements. The test results showed that the differences in gestures were recognized well even though they were performed in different positions
Implementasi Sleepiness EWS Pada TRC BPBD Jember Sebagai Usaha Pengurangan Risiko Kecelakaan Kerja
The Quick Response Team (TRC) of BPBD Jember plays an important role in disaster management. Among their emergency response activities are the mobilization of personnel for victim assistance and the distribution of aid to disaster victims. The nature of TRC's work demands both physical and mental effort. This poses a risk of work fatigue, one manifestation of which is microsleep, which can lead to traffic accidents as experienced by the TRC in 2019. The objective of this community service activity is to implement artificial intelligence that can monitor driver activity to reduce the risk of traffic accidents. The method of this service activity involves the installation of a sleepiness early warning system (EWS) in TRC BPBD Jember vehicles. The device is mounted on the dashboard, facing the driver, and powered by a 12-volt car battery. Based on interviews, the implementation of the sleepiness EWS in the operational vehicles of TRC BPBD Jember has been able to enhance driving safety by providing warnings to drivers when they begin to lose concentration, whether due to fatigue or distractions. Although there were challenges in implementing the device, such as slow response time and limited detection range, the community service team overcame these issues by recalibrating the device's response time and selecting drivers with similar anthropometric measurements to avoid the need for frequent adjustments when changing drivers
Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Pemanfaatan Sampah Organik Sebagai Eco-Enzyme Kepada Wanita Pesisir Pulau Santen, Banyuwangi
Banyuwangi has quite a lot of coastal areas. However, the negative impact of many coastal areas is that garbage is generally disposed of in the waters starting from the river which will eventually empty into the sea or directly dumped into the open sea. The mindset of Indonesian people including Banyuwangi residents who consider the sea as a garbage dump has not changed much. Santen island is one of the beaches in Banyuwangi with less waste management. As a solution to these problems, socialization is needed to increase awareness to the community and provide training to the community in handling organic waste. Socialization and training conducted is the utilization of organic waste as Eco-Enzyme with partners are coastal women. Eco-Enzyme is. This PkM implementation method consists of five stages, namely Pre-activity, presentation, Breefing training, training, and Evaluation and closing. Participants who attended this activity were 23 women of various ages. On the day of the training, the participants had prepared all the materials, then the organizing team divided the participants into 4 groups. For the ratio of ingredients for making this eco-enzyme is 1: 3: 10, where 1 is for sugar in grams, 3 is for fruit skin or vegetable scraps in grams, and 10 is water in mL. The socialization of the material on the first day increased participants' awareness of the importance of waste management and participants' enthusiasm in making eco-enzymes. Each participant in each group made eco-enzyme according to the instructions from the presenter. After three months, the participants were able to use Eco-Enzyme products as glass cleaners, toilet cleaners and bathrooms, while the pulp became fertilizer for ornamental plants in their homes

Pemanfaatan Limbah Daun Jati Kering dan Serbuk Gergaji Kayu sebagai Bahan Baku Arang Briket di Desa Bubulan
The Bubulan Village has rich natural resources, one of which is high-quality teak trees contributing to the productivity of teak trees in Bojonegoro Regency. Despite its advantages, teak trees in Bubulan Village hold the potential for economically valuable waste, namely teak leaf waste accumulating in the forest area. Additionally, Bubulan Village is home to wooden furniture craftsmen, and every production process generates wood sawdust waste. This community service aims to empower the people of Bubulan Village in managing this waste through training on the utilization of dried teak leaf waste and wood sawdust as raw materials for charcoal briquettes. The service method begins with partner surveys, followed by reference studies and a simulation of the charcoal-making process by the team. Subsequently, tools for making charcoal briquettes (including the creation of a charcoal stove) are procured. The activities continue with outreach to showcase the potential of Bubulan Village, followed by training on the utilization of teak leaf waste and wood sawdust as raw materials for charcoal briquettes.Representatives from the youth organization (karang taruna), village officials, and 20 residents of Bubulan Village attended this community service. The outcomes of this service include an increase in participants' knowledge about charcoal briquettes made from dried teak leaves and wood sawdust by 49%. The designed and made charcoal stove by the service team functions well.
