    The Student\u27s Scientific Attitude and Creativity of Product in Environmental Issues Through Project Based Learning

    The purpose of this research was to got the information about student\u27s scientific attitude and creativity of product and correlation both of it in enviromental issues through project based learning. This research was conducted from January to June 2015. Sample in this research were 34 students of 2014 grade in FKIP Biologi UR used parameters were (1) scientific attitude with 4 indicators (curiosity, cooperative, carefulness and discipline); (2) creativity of product. Observation instrument managed by reseacher and the realibility values based Alfa Cronbach is 0.70-0.87. The creativity was scored through product (report) by using portofolio instrument, with descriptors were: Initiative (collecting information), inovation (environmental issues that are happening), variation of idea (way of display data), and suitable idea and their solution. The data analyzed was using SPSS. Descriptive statistic were percent, mean, standard deviation and inference statistic (Multiple regretion). Mean values shows that student\u27s scientific attitude was 79,99 (good), and the creativity of product was 80,10 (good). Positive correlation among curiosity, cooperation, carefulness and discipline give contribution as 68% to determine the creativity of product. Separately, each aspect of student\u27s scientific attitude give contribution for creativity of product were: curiosity (60%), carefulness (57%), discipline (48%) and cooperative (47%). The conclusion is student\u27s scientific attitude and creativity of product is in good category. It means that there are correlation between student\u27s scientific attitude and the creativity of product in environmental issues through project based learning in FKIP Biologi UR

    This research is a research which is aimed to improve students biology studying achievement by implementing guided inqury learning srtategy in class VII SMP N 3 Sinaboi in Academic Year 2015/2016. This research was conducted in April-Mei 2016. The subject of this research was student of class VII of SMP N 3 Sinaboi. The number of students was 36 students (18 boys and 18 girls). The Parameter was students studying achievement consisted of comprehension ability, students passing individually, studens activities and teachers activities. The average of students comprehension ability in cycle 1 was 75.81% (moderate) increased became 81.42% (good). The students passing studying in cycle 1 was 63.88% (pass) increased in cycle 2 became 83.33% (pass). Average of studens activities in cycle 1 was 78.12% (moderate) increased in cycle 2 became 91.66% (very good). Average of teachers activities in cycle 1 was 88.45% (good) increased in cycle 2 became 92.30% (good). From the result of this research it can be concluded that the implementation of guided inquiry can improve students biology studying achievements in class VII SMP N 3 Sinaboi in Academic Year 2015/2016

    This study aimed to determine the correlation between knowledge and scientific attitude land and forest fire prevention STUDENTS in MTsN Bukit Batu Bengkalis, Riau that was conducted in November 2015 to May 2016. The sample in this study were 63 students randomly selected in VIII grade in school year 2015/2016 and two science teachers as supporting data. The parameters of this study is the knowledge of the land and forest fire prevention and scientific attitude land and forest fire prevention. Instrument knowledge with written tests, scientific attitude is measured by using a closed questionnaire that has been valid and reliable and interview guidelines. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics simple regression test. The results of data analysis showed that there is a low correlation between knowledge with scientific attitude land and forest fire prevention learners in MTsN Bukit Batu Bengkalis, Riau

    This research was conducted to find out the growth response of Cyperus kyllingia on soil contaminated with petroleum waste which used for handout design on growth material and development of XII SMA class which was conducted in November 2016 until February 2017. This research is descriptive quantitative research to know the response of Cyperus kyllingia that planted on soil contaminated with petroleum waste with different concentrations of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbon TPH, while handout design analysis was conducted in two stages, namely the analysis and design phase. Parameters used include degradation rate (%) TPH and vegetative growth of crops, ie shoot number, stem height, leaf length, wet weight and dry weight of plant. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed that the Cyperus kyllingia plant was able to grow on contaminated soil of petroleum waste. The response of plants in the face of stress can be seen in vegetative growth in the form of growth of shoot number, stem height and leaf length. The higher the concentration of TPH on the soil the lower the growth rate. Cyperus kyllingia plant has the ability to degrade TPH with a percentage of 0.32-0.39%. The results can be developed into handouts on the growth and development for grade XII SMA

    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Heads Together (Nht) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas V11b SMPN 2 Sinaboi Tahun Pelajaran 2015/2016

    This study aims to improve science learning outcomes of students with the application of cooperative learning model Numbered Heads Together at SMPN 2 Sinaboi VIIB class in the academic year 2015/2016. Which was conducted in March 2016. The subjects were students of SMPN 2 Sinaboi VIIB grade school year 2015/2016 with a total of 25 people (11 students and 14 female students). Which lasted for two cycles in which the first cycle with the material classify living things based on the characteristics possessed by the material and the second cycle describes the diversity of the organizational system of life from the cellular level up to 3 times the organism replicates harian. Parameter meetings including that measured learning outcomes students consisting of absorption students and students learning completeness, awards groups, student activities and teacher's activities. Absorptive capacity of the students in the first cycle 73% (enough) and the second cycle 82.4% (good). Mastery learning in the first cycle 80% complete and has increased in the second cycle at 88%. Group awards in the first cycle there is one super group and the second cycle there are two super groups. Average student activity in cycle I 60.38% (or less) and the second cycle increased to 86% (excellent). The average teacher activity increased by 90.5% (excellent) and the second cycle of 100% (excellent). From these results it can be concluded that cooperative learning model NHT can improve learning outcomes IPA class VII SMPN 2 Sinaboi in the academic year 2015/2016

    The research was conducted to determine the content of heavy metals Lead (Pb) and Cadmium (Cd) on Water River Sail Pekanbaru based bioindikator snails (Pomacea canaliculata) as module design concept of environmental pollution biology in high school performed in June 2014. Determination research station is purposive random sampling by considering the environmental conditions based on community activities around the river. The main parameters in this study include heavy metals Pb and Cd in river water, sediment and Pomacea canaliculata, and physico-chemical parameters as supporting parameters. Hasi study showed that the average content of heavy metals in river water Pb and Cd 0.26 ppm 0.16 ppm where the heavy metal content in the water has passed the threshold of 0,008 ppm and 0,001 ppm Pb untu to Cd. The average content of heavy metals in the sediment of 3.04 ppm Pb and Cd 0.08 ppm. While the average content of heavy metals Pb Pomacea canaliculata 0.73 ppm and 0.21 ppm Cd. Where the content of heavy metals contained in the sediments and Pomacea canaliculata has not crossed the threshold that has been set. Further results of the study of heavy metals Pb and Cd in river water, sediment and Anadara granosa that have been implemented will serve as a source in the preparation of the learning modules in high school

    Identifikasi Telur Cacing Nematoda Yang Terdapat Pada Sayuran Sebagai Alternatif Media Pembelajaran Pada Konsep Invertebrata Kelas Nematoda Di SMA

    The aim of reseach was to determine of the eggs of various types of parasitic nematode worms found in vegetables and the results of this study is designed as an alternative medium of learning in the classroom invertebrates concept nematodes in February and May 2015. The study was conducted with two stages, namely the identification of various types of nematode eggs using a survey method and designing alternative learning media. Sampling was done by purposive sampling. The parameters observed in this study are various types of nematode worm eggs rich in vegetable lettuce (Lactuca sativa), basil (Ocimum basilicum L) and cabbage (Brassica oleracea). The results showed that nematode worm eggs found in vegetables lettuce (Lactuca sativa) is Trichuris trichiura and Necator americanus, basil (Ocimum basilicum L) was found on the eggs Ancylostoma duodenale and cabbage (Brassica oleracea) found eggs of Ascaris lumbricoides. Results of the study can be used as an alternative medium of learning in the form of video footage on the material invertebrates nematodes class in high school
