Gaya Kepemimpinan dan Motivasi Kerja dalam Meningkatkan Pelayanan Publik

: Leadership style is a guideline in determining the success of an organization, to improve public services, there must be a leader motivation to its employees in order to produce a good performance. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the leadership style, employee motivation, the factors inhibiting and supporting applied to the Director of PLN Dinoyo.This research is qualitative. The research sample using purposive sampling, informants in this study is the Director of PLN Dinoyo, SPV techniques and SPV Administration PLN Dinoyo. Researchers used data collection techniques by interview, observation and documentation and using descriptive data analysis method, which describe the results data. Results of this research is the leadership style of the Director PLN Dinoyo is leadership style democracy. Motivation provision by the Director PLN Dinoyo in improving public services is the career path that will be obtained by employees, if it has a good performance in improving public services and a limiting factor in the application of leadership style in PLN Dinoyo is a lack of provision of information to employees about the issue of working equipment. Menghitung Waktu Panen Tanaman Bawang Merah Berbasis Heat Unit pada Pemberian Pupuk Organik di Tanah Gambut

Determining of the harvest of onion in the peat soil can be done by using physiological harvest criteria, but calculating the appropriate of harvest time can support the quality of harvesting of the onion plant. This study was conducted by using polybags in research and experiment gardens of the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry of the University of Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya from April to June in 2016. The given fertilization was an organic fertilizer in peat soil by using stall fertilizer like chicken feces with dosages of 15-30 tons ha-1 (PK) and bokashi of stall fertilizer of chicken feces with a dosage of 2-5 tons ha-1 (BK). The observation was done to the calculation of daily temperature (°C), the average of daily temperature (°C), and the unit of heat (heat unit) (°C day) as long as the cultivation of onion plant. The results showed that the harvest time that appropriate to the harvest physiological criteria in the treatment of BK at the age of 57 days after planting is relatively accurate and appropriate because it has a heating unit for 947,17oC day, and the harvest time that appropriate to the harvest physiological criteria of PK treatment at the age of 59 days after planting is relatively late because it has a heating unit for 978,09oC day

The Construction of Beauty Among University Students

This study investigates the meaning construction of beauty among university students. Woman boy has turned into valuable commodity. Capital owners have taken advantages of this condition. Through media, they construct and define the new meaning of beauty. Instead of rejecting this situation, some women, especially adolescence, tend to follow what has been offered by the media and beauty industries and fall into what is called \u27fetishism. Through symbolic interaction and social construction theories, this study attempted to analyse how university students construct the meaning of beauty and to what extent the fetishism had occurred

Identifikasi Potensi Kemampuan Masyarakat Kampung Matraman Salemba dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Rumah Sesuai Prinsip Rumah Sehat

Dalam rangka penyediaan Perumahan yang layak, sejumlah besar masyarakat di negara-negara berkembang telah menyediakan Perumahan dalam bentuk pembangunan dan peningkatan kualitas rumahnya. Penyediaan rumah secara informal ini juga terjadi di DKI Jakarta dan kota-kota besar lainnya di Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi kemampuan masyarakat dan faktor-faktor peningkatan kualitas rumah. Untuk mencapai tujuan, penelitian ini menggunakan strategi riset survai,dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat utama, delapan puluh delapan responden diwawancarai. Dari hasil analisis deskriptif kualitatif terhadap kuesioner, secara umum masyarakat Kampung Matraman Salemba memiliki potensi kemampuan dalam peningkatan kualitas rumah. Kemampuan yang dimiliki tersebut didasarkan pada tingkat pemenuhan tiap indikator, sebagai bagian dari kriteria kemampuan yang telah disusun dan didasarkan pada kriteria rumah yang sehat (dengan rata-rata tingkat pemenuhan tiap-tiap indikator lebih dari 76,9% responden). Selain itu, kemampuan masyarakat dalam peningkatan kualitas rumah dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor: ketersediaan pembiayaan (terkait dengan sumber pendapatan, struktur pengeluaran, dan sumber pembiayaan dalam peningkatan kualitas rumah; jumlah anggota keluarga dalam tiap rumah tangga; pengetahuan penghuni tentang rumah sehat; dan status kepemilikan rumah

Dinamika Pertumbuhan Daun Bibit Stek Pucuk Stevia Menggunakan Pupuk Kandang Kotoran Ayam pada Tanah Gambut

The cultivation of stevia (Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni M.) in peat soil is necessary to find the substitution of sugar needs and as an alternative natural sweeteners. The aim of this study is to know how the the dynamics of leaf growth of germ of cutting of the shoot stevia on using the chicken manure fertilizer in peat soil. The results of this study are expected as a material of the study to support the development of cultivation of Stevia in the peat soil. This study was conducted using a polybag on Wortel street area, Panarung of the District of Pahandut of the Palangka Raya city from April to May 2017. The data of the observation were collected to the leaf growth (number of leaf and leaf area) of germ of cutting of the shoot stevia plant at the age of germ on 10 and 20 days after planting (DAP). The results of the study showed that the using of chicken manure fertilizer by the dosage 20 tons ha-1 until 40 tons ha-1 can increasing the dynamics of leaf growth (number of leaf and leaf area) of germ of cutting of the shoot stevia plant at the age of germ on 10 and 20 days after planting (DAP) in peat soil. The result of this study also requires further detailed study on the weight area ratio and spesific leaf area for cutting of the shoot stevia
