Introduksi modernitas memberikan peluang bagi orang Papua untuk memikirkan gerakan transformasi identitas sosial budayanya. The long history of violence and the making of Balinese cultural politics have marginalized the narratives of some segments of society who are excluded and defeated by power. Their small narratives lie in the periphery of the discourse of the preservation of Balinese cultural politics. In contrast, according to their testimony their power relation is captured in the history of violence and Balinese cultural construction. These subaltern groups have become victims, but subsequently struggle, and that with their own ways they have lived their own life in a hard way. The genealogy of violence has become the foundation of the establishment of Balinese culture inherited from colonial times. The genealogy is created in a number of events showing how the Balinese struggle to survive in the midst of terror. I Nyoman Nambreg and I Ketut Sorog are one of them. They become the only living eyewitnesses of the most tragical event in their life. This article argues that the construction of Balinese cultural politics has become the essence of culture. Therefore, by making use of subaltern studies, the narratives outside power with post–colonial perspectives will produce sharp and humanist analysis in observing the power of the genealogy of violence and Balinese cultural politics. &nbsp

Football is the most popular sport in the World and in Indonesia. However, it seems that at the moment many difculties and challenges occur in Indonesian sport industry that impede the development. Another problem that become serious issue is the dispute between Indonesian Football Association with the Indonesian Ministry of Youth and Sports. The issue grows since there was an organizational problem within Indonesian League clubs from Surabaya and Malang East Java Indonesia. Based on some similar event abroad, those kinds of issues should be resolved with an integrated management system within Indonesian Football Club. The main purpose of this literacy study is to improve the quality of football club management in Indonesian Football Clubs as an alternative to the development of tourism in Indonesia

Complaint Speech Act of Hotel and Restaurant Guests

This paper is aimed at analyzing how complaint speech act of hotel and restaurant guests are performed and responded based on categories of speech acts and how they are performed considering the aspects of acts: locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary. The method and technique of collecting data in this study is documentation method in which the data were collected using the technique of note taking and were qualitatively analyzed. The findings show that complaint of hotel and restaurant services stated by the guest was intended to have a good response of the server about the complaint conveyed. Based on the categories of speech, the guests used expressive and declarative speech acts to express complaints and the server used expressive and commissive speech acts to respond complaints. Complaints of hotel and restaurant guests involved three kinds of acts: locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary. Locutionary act is the utterance conveyed by the guest to show sense that he or she was not happy with something. Illocutionary act shows that what the guest wanted the server to do concerning his complaints through speech. Perlocutionary act is a kind of action taken by the server to respond the complaint speech act stated by guest

Adsorpsi Isotermal Co2 Bertekanan Tinggi Pada Karbon Aktif Dengan Metoda Volumetrik

High Pressure Adsorption Isotherm of CO2 on Activated Carbon using Volumetric Method. Adsorption system is ones of the most effective methods for CO2 separating with other substances that produced from the burning of fossil fuels. In the design for that application, beside of characteristics of porous material (adsorbent) data, CO2 adsorptiondata on the adsorbent (kinetic and thermodynamic) are also needed. The aim of this research is resulting isothermal adsorption data at pressures up to 3.5 MPa by indirect methods (volumetric method) at isothermal temperature of 300, 308, 318 and 338 K. Adsorbent that used in this research is activated carbon made from East of Kalimantan coals byphysical activation method (CO2) which is the surface area of activated carbon is 668 m2/g and pore volume is 0.47 mL/g. Carbon dioxide (CO2) that used in this research is high purity carbon dioxide with a purity of 99.9%. Data from the experiment results then correlated using the Langmuir and Toth equations model. The results showed that the maximum adsorption capacity is 0.314 kg/kg at 300 K and 3384.69 kPa. The results of regression of experiment data using Langmuir and Toth models were 3.4% and 1.7%
