    Get PDF
There are many traditional art studios that grow and develop in Indonesia. However, not all succeed in maintaining artistic activities, so that over time many became extinct. This causes the studio members to lose the means to develop their creative potential. This also creates problems for artists who depend on activities in the studio. However, there are several studios that still exist and are even growing in the midst of the expanding arts of this global era. This cannot be separated from the traditional studio management that is implemented. This research used a multi case study approach with data collection techniques of interviews, observations and document study. To ensure data validity, this study applied source and method triangulation. The results showed that the existence of the studio depends on its managerial activity. Kampung Sanan is one of the creative villages in Malang Raya, with various soybeanbased product innovations. Covid-19 has impacted the amount of tourists who come to visit, making production and sales turnover decrease. Before the pandemic, 4-5 groups visited Sanan Village in a week, or approximately 18-20 visitors in one month. This condition declined due to the PPKM enforced in Malang Raya and the prohibition on receiving large group visits, limiting it to only individuals and a maximum of 5 people per week. This condition encourages the tempe artisans of Kampung Sanan to be persistent in diversifying. The creation of various innovations by these artisans is to improve the people’s economy. Kampung Sanan always holds the Tempe Sanan Culinary Festival every year by displaying superior products, so it must always strive for new products that are uniquely attractive but still refer to the characteristic of Kampung Sanan, namely tempe processing. This article aims to describe the various product diversifications carried out by the residents of Kampung Sanan to increase sales turnover and strengthen local wisdom values. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation of the activities of the residents of Kampung Sanan. The result shows a lot of innovative products, including the latest one, processing soybean waste into silky pudding, crackers, or macaroni. Oglek Tempe Dance as an Attraction to Support Cultural-Based Village Tourism in Sanan, Malang

Sanan village is one of the designated tourist areas in Malang, and it has a special ceremony in welcoming their guests. The tour guide team picks up groups of tourists who enter the Sanan village area and escorts them to see the making of tempeh chips. However, the ceremony itself is rather bland as there is no artistic attraction in its process. Thus, in this community service activity, we packaged art tourism attractions with local characteristics, namely the welcoming dance of Oglek Tempe, to brand Sanan village as a culture-based tourism village. Nine female dancers perform the Oglek Tempe dance from the village of Sanan, following the concept of ‘babahan hawa sanga’. The dance reminds people to maintain honor and not to indulge in lust. The form of dance presentation demonstrates the style of movement, costumes, property, and musical arrangements typical of Malangan within six minutes’ duration. This is a spectacle dance. It also provides opportunities for tourists who want to dance along with the dancers by following the rules and protocols and not making disrespectful moves. The dance ends with the giving of souvenirs typical of Sanan village, namely decorations made of coral. Keywords: Oglek Tempe, Dance, Attraction, Tourism, Sana
