    The Effectiveness of Cooperative Learning Type Team Assisted Individualization Based on Constructivism Toward Ability to Think Mathematically Creative of Student

    . Many students have difficulty and get low score in trigonometry. Some reason said this subject contains a lotof formulas and the teachers have not used the learning system that can make students more active. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of cooperative learning type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI)based on constructivism towad students\u27 ability to think trigonometry creatively. This study is an experimental studyconducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Semarang. Data collection technique is student activity observation and creativethinking ability tests of mathematical ability. The result shows classical completeness of creative thinking abilities ofstudents reached 85.7%. Value of creative mathematical thinking skills (KBKM) was influenced by students\u27 activity was78.4% and the value of Mathematical Creative Thinking Skills test experimental class was better than the control class. Itmeans that learning of mathematics trigonometry by applying the cooperative model type TAI constructivism based ismore effective than learning by using conventional learning models

    Simplex merupakan salah satu materi pada mata kuliah program linier. Karakteristik materi simplex yang membutuhkan pemahaman, ketelitian dan ketrampilan dalam operasi bilangan membuat mahasiswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi simplex, sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya hasil belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan keaktifan dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model kooperatif Team Game Tournament (TGT). Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas dengan pendekatan kualitaif yang terdiri dari 2?é?á siklus?é?á dan?é?á tiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan?é?á dan refleksi tindakan. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester IV Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas muhammadiyah Semarang.?é?á Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari lembar observasi dan soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Hasil penelitian menunjuhkan?é?á keaktifan mahasiswa pada siklus I sebesar?é?á 55,5%?é?á kategori Baik,?é?á 33,3% kategori cukup, meningkat pada siklus II menjadi?é?á 86,6% kategori baik dan 14,6% kategori cukup. Hasil ini menunjuhkan terjadi peningkatan keaktifan mahasiswa sebesar 31,1%. Persentase ketuntasan kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa?é?á mengalami peningkatan dari?é?á 66,7%?é?á?é?á pada siklus 1 menjadi?é?á 86,7% pada siklus 2,?é?á atau?é?á meningkatan?é?á sebesar 25%. Environment conditions is one of important factor that may affect plant growth. Modificationof environment conditions will not only affect plant growth, but also fruit quality. This study was carried out in TheExperimental Garden and Horticultural Laboratory of College of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University. The experimentwas set up in a randomize block design with 5 levels of treatments (plastic mulch color) and 4 replications. Parameterobserved were fruit number per plant, damaged fruit per plot, fruit weight, diameter and length of fruit, fruit firmness,coefficient of fruit ripening, total soluble solid, vitamin C, and dominant acid. The results showed that the color ofplastic mulch had a specific effect on tomatoes fruit quality parameter. The use of red plastic mulch reduce thepercentage of damage fruits but decreased the coefficient of fruit ripening. The blue plastic mulch had a significanteffect on increase fruit firmnes. Meanwhile, the silvery black plastic mulch could increase the dominant acid contentthat was suitable for growing processing tomatoes

    The destruction of mangrove Forest at the north coast of Java has been caused by land conversion. In Situbondo regency, the problem started from activities of the shrimp cultivation in the 1980 – 1990\u27s. There are three (3) major issues in Indonesian mangrove management, namely ecological, socioeconomic, and institutional. In the last two years, the beach abbration has reached 5 – 10 meters from shoreline. It used the serious management from Situbondo Government Regency, the society and stakeholder through the 1000 mangrove planting in the beach. The mangrove planting activities were started by the socialization of planning, planting, and handling mangrove trees.     Anggota kelompok kerajinan tangan SEKAR dan ASTER merupakan ibu-ibu yang berprofesi sebagai buruh cuci di daerah Perumahan yang ada di sekitar tempat tinggal. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah (1) belum ada pemberdayaan ibu rumah tangga dalam peningkatan ekonomi keluarga, (2) kurangnya pengetahuan tentang pemanfaatan limbah kain perca menjadi berbagai produk yang bernilai ekonomi, (3) kurangnya ketrampilan mitra untuk berkreasi dan berinovasi membuat produk, (4) USAha belum didukung oleh sarana dan prasarana, (5) kurangnya pengetahuan tentang pengelolaan USAha. Tujuan program ini adalah (1) mengembangkan kelompok USAha kerajinan tangan ASTER dan SEKAR sehingga anggotanya menjadi masyarakat yang mandiri secara ekonomi, (2) meningkatkan ketrampilan berkreasi dan berinovasi dalam membuat kerajinan tangan dari kain perca bagi anggota kelompok USAha kerajinan tangan ASTER dan SEKAR.     Saat ini, kulit ikan masih sedikit jumlahnya sehingga jarang digunakan dalam industri penyamakan kulit. Kulit ikan talang-talang merupakan limbah buangan, sehingga dapat diolah menjadi kulit tersamak dan dapat dijadikan produk tas atau dompet, yang harus mempunyai kekuatan tarik yang baik, dimana tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan kombinasi kromium-gambir terhadap kekuatan tarik pada proses penyamakan kulit ikan talang-talang dengan metode Taguchi. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan faktor terkendali yaitu Cr2O3 (krome okside) 1,5%, 2,5%, 3,5%, bahan gambir 6%, 8%, 10%, waktu proses retanning 20 menit, 40 menit, 60 menit, minyak sulfat 10%, 11%, 12%. Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi faktor dan level yang paling baik adalah faktor A (krome okside) level 3 yaitu 3,5%, faktor B (bahan gambir) level 3 yaitu 10%, faktor C (waktu proses retanning) level 2 yaitu 40 menit, faktor D (minyak sulfat) level 1 yaitu 10%. Penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan mengatur kembali faktor dan level kendali, menambahkan interaksi yang terjadi, lebih baik dilakukan dengan langkah studi kasus di lapangan, dan menambahkan analisis untuk menaikkan kualitas kulit ikan selain kekuatan tarik

    Kecondang or Taka (Tacca leontopetaloides), a member of Taccaceae, is one the carbohydrate alternatives to rice which can be developed in coastal area. With the global warming, the sea level has increased and small islands are more isolated. The people who lives in these islands should depend on their bioresources.As Taka inhabits coastal area, the development of this plant becomes critical.A total of 65 accessions of Taka from 9 provenances in Indonesia (Sukabumi, Madura, Kp.Siung (Yogyakarta), Gn. Kidung (Yogyakarta), and the small islands in Karimun Jawa namely Nyamuk, Katang, Cendekia, Kumbang, Seruni islands) were characterized using six ISSR markers [GSGG (TG5)T; CCAG(TGG)3TG; GGAG(TGG)3TG; BDBT(TCC4); (AC)8C; (AG)8G]. The scoring of the fragments resulted in 55 (69.6%) polymorphic bands. The size of the bands varied from 150bp to 1,6kb. The 65 accessions of Taka made several clusters according to their provenances. The range of individual genetic dissimilarity was from 0.012 to 0.186. The results showed that amongst nine population studied, Gn. Kidul, Yogyakarta population has the highest level of genetic variation with mean values of Na = 1.3544±0.4814, Ne =1.1784±0.3025, PLP = 35.44% and He = 0.1094±0.1681. Whereas, P. Nyamuk, Kep. Karimun Jawa population has the lowest level of genetic variation with mean values of Na = 1.0759±0.2666, Ne = 1.0523±0.2163, PLP = 7.59% and He = 0.0275±0.1097
