Rip/singularity free cosmology models with bulk viscosity

In this paper we present two concrete models of non-perfect fluid with bulk viscosity to interpret the observed cosmic accelerating expansion phenomena, avoiding the introduction of exotic dark energy. The first model we inspect has a viscosity of the form ζ=ζ0+(ζ1ζ2q)H{\zeta} = {\zeta}_0 + ({\zeta}_1-{\zeta}_2q)H by taking into account of the decelerating parameter q, and the other model is of the form ζ=ζ0+ζ1H+ζ2H2{\zeta} = {\zeta}_0 + {\zeta}_1H + {\zeta}_2H^2. We give out the exact solutions of such models and further constrain them with the latest Union2 data as well as the currently observed Hubble-parameter dataset (OHD), then we discuss the fate of universe evolution in these models, which confronts neither future singularity nor little/pseudo rip. From the resulting curves by best fittings we find a much more flexible evolution processing due to the presence of viscosity while being consistent with the observational data in the region of data fitting. With the bulk viscosity considered, a more realistic universe scenario is characterized comparable with the {\Lambda}CDM model but without introducing the mysterious dark energy.Comment: 9 pages, 6 figures, submitted to EPJ-

Composite products are gradually being used in automotive, civil and water applications, as well as in weight-specific aerospace-specific aerospace applications, mainly due to the hardness of their details and their rigidity. This requires research into the resonance as well as the bending behavior of the frames. Most evaluations are performed on the resonance of a composite panel either analytically or using various mathematical approaches. Indeed, little has been reported at present in the reflective examination of laminated composite panels using modern instruments or dimensions. This study is primarily a speculative research based on the resonant dimension and also on the torsional behavior of strips of woven composite fiber panels with different layer densities. This study examines the effects of different geometries, edge problems, face ratio, and fiber type on the completely natural resonance regularity of woven fiber composite panels. The effects of the temperature level variable as well as the concentration of heat due to heat treatment on normal uniformity are also investigated. Basic distortion reductions are calculated for multiple density chips. The speculative arrangement and typical screening treatment are explained. The production processing of the cover is additionally specified. Completely natural patterns were recognized using a computer system configured in MATLAB settings based on finite component access (FEM). The results were compared using the "here and now" formula with various existing literature

Background: Induction of labor is one of the most important procedures done by the Obstetricians. Induction of labor with the help of prostaglandins offer the advantage of promoting cervical ripening along with stimulating the contractility of the myometrium. Methods: 200 pregnant women with singleton pregnancy both nulliparous and multiparous, were included in the study at term gestation (>39weeks) with Bishop’s score <6, and reactive NST. The subjects were divided in to two groups Group A including patients who were given oral PGE1 - 50 mcg Tab, and Group B with cervical PGE2, 0.5 mg, gel. The outcome indicators were recorded in both Group A and Group B and analyzed. The mean time taken from induction to vaginal delivery in Group A was 628±67 minutes and in Group B was 839±118 minutes. Incidence of LSCS in Group B when compared to Group A (p value <0.005).Results: Incidence of LSCS in Primi’s in Group B compared to Primi’s in Group A was statistically significant (p value 0.009). Non-progression of labor was observed to be the major indication for LSCS in Group B. Meconium stained labor was found to be the major indication for LSCS in Group A.Conclusions: The study concludes that using 50 mcg oral misoprostol, is an effective and safe mode of induction of labor in comparison to PGE2 gel. Vaginal deliveries are more with the use of oral misoprostol and the induction to delivery interval is also lesser than that in cervical PGE2 use

Characterization of Single Cycle CA and its Application in Pattern Classification

AbstractThe special class of irreversible cellular automaton (CA) with multiple attractors is of immense interest to the CA researchers. Characterization of such a CA is the necessity to devise CA based solutions for diverse applications. This work explores the essential properties of CA attractors towards characterization of the 1-dimensional cellular automata with point states (single length cycle attractors). The concept of Reachability Tree is introduced for such characterization. It enables identification of the pseudo-exhaustive bits (PE bits) of a CA defining its point states. A theoretical framework has been developed to devise schemes for synthesizing a single length cycle multiple attractor CA with the specific set of PE bits. It also results in a linear time solution while synthesizing a CA for the given set of attractors and its PE bits. The experimentation establishes that the proposed CA synthesis scheme is most effective in designing the efficient pattern classifiers for wide range of applications

Effect of Rabbit Epididymal Antimicrobial Peptide, REHbβP, on LPS-Induced Proinflammatory Cytokine Responses in Human Vaginal Cells In Vitro

Antimicrobial peptides (AMP's) protect epithelial surfaces including epididymis against pathogens and play a key role in orchestrating various defensive responses. Recently, we have identified one such AMP, rabbit epididymal hemoglobin-β subuit (REHbβP) from the epididymal fluid of rabbit, Oryctologus cuniculus. The demonstration of a protective role of REHbβP in epididymal epithelial cells (EPEC's) led us to investigate: (1) the identification of LPS interactive domain in REHbβP, and (2) whether the REHbβP of rabbit origin mediates vaginal cellular immune responses of another species (human). HeLa-S3, human vaginal epithelial cells (hVECs) were exposed to LPS or the LPS-stimulated cells treated with REHbβP or neutral peptide, nREHbβP. Effect of LPS and cytokines (IL-6 and IL-1α) and chemokines (IL-8, MCP-1) levels was determined in the culture supernatants. In response to the LPS, hVECs synthesized these mediators and the levels were significantly higher than controls. This enhancing effect was ameliorated when the LPS-induced hVECs were treated with REHbβP. Similar results were obtained on NF-κB protein and hBD-1 mRNA expression. Confocal microscopy studies revealed that REHbβP attenuated the LPS-induced internalization of E. coli by macrophages. The chemotaxis studies performed using Boyden chamber Transwell assay, which showed elevated migration of U937 cells when the supernatants of LPS-induced hVECs were used, and the effect was inhibited by REHbβP. REHbβP was found to be localized on the acrosome of rabbit spermatozoa, suggesting its role in sperm protection beside sperm function. In conclusion, REHbβP may have the potential to develop as a therapeutic agent for reproductive tract infections (RTI's)

Background: An effective labour analgesia improves maternal and perinatal outcome and improves the course of labour. Methods: This was a prospective, randomised study done to compare effectiveness and safety of intravenous infusion of paracetamol with tramadol when used for labour analgesia. Group A (25 parturients) received paracetamol 1000 mg and group B (25 parturients) received tramadol 1mg/Kg at 4 to 6 cm cervical dilatation. Visual analogue score for pain was assessed at the baseline, 1 hour and 3 hours of drug administration and was compared between the two groups along with various maternal and fetal outcomes. Results: The difference in mean Visual Analogue Score (VAS) just before the drug administration was not statistically significant. However, at 1 hour of drug administration, mean VAS was significantly lower in the Group A (4.60) in comparison to Group B (5.82). The mean VAS at 3 hours was slightly lower in group A (6.35) in comparison to group B (6.65), though statistically there was no significant difference. Nausea, vomiting and sedation were found to be more in the tramadol group as compared to paracetamol group. The mean 1 and 5 minute apgar scores were found to be comparable in both the groups. Conclusions: So, it can be concluded from our study that intravenous paracetamol may be preferred over intravenous tramadol as it is associated with better analgesic efficacy and less maternal side effects. Although both the drugs were found to have good neonatal outcome
