    Land use management causes the changes of the function of the land in the city. The change of the function of uncultivated land to be cultivated land has a potential to change soil biophysical characteristic, and at the same time, it decreases the absorption of soil water. This research aims: (1) to study the influence of the landuse change towards soil biophysical characteristics, (2) to study the correlation between soil biophysical characteristics and infiltration capacity, and (3) to study the influence of the landuse change towards the infiltration capacity. The landuse change is studied by comparing the ongoing mapping documents. Soil biophysical characteristics consist of root biomass, number of worms, soil organic matter (SOM), and porosity. The root biomass is obtained by root density, the number of worms is identified with monolith and hand sorting method, the SOM is identified with fraction analysis, and the porosity is identified with cylinder and pignometer method. The water absorption is measured with the plot experiment. The influence of the landuse towards soil biophysical traits is analyzed T-test and the influence of landuse change towards infiltration capacity is analyzed correlatively. This research gains the results that: (1) the landuse change causes the change of soil biophysical traits, too, and the soil biophysical traits change causes, furthermore, the declining of the land capability in absorbing water, and (2) the amount of the infiltration capacity is caused by soil biophysical traits, mostly by root biomass, number of worms, and the SOM, and (3) the landuse change causes the declining of infiltration capacity

    ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji apakah model pembelajaran Group Investigation berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa MAN 6 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan quasi experimen dengan pre test and post test control group design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol, yang homogen berdasarkan nilai raport semester 1. Hasilkemampuan berpikir kritis siswa diukur dengan menggunakan soal esai. Skor tes kemampuan berpikir kritis ditentukan berdasarkan hasil skor pretest dan posttest (gainscore). Hasil penelitian menunjukkanbahwa model pembelajaran Group Investigation berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari analisis data nilai t = 3,432 dan signifikansi dua ekor 0,01 lebih kecil dari α =0,05. Hal ini dapat dilihat rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas eksperimen adalah 25,64, lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol 19,88.Kata kunci: Group Investigation, Kemampuan Berpikir Kriti

    Study of Quality Changes and Determination of Water Pollution Index At River watershed Bengkulu

    Bengkulu Eksisting problematic conditions on water quality. Seeing the importance of water quality because it is the only source of mineral water Bengkulu city in which the water flowing from the fountain in Central Bengkulu Regency. Context territory that includes two administration (city of Bengkulu and Central Bengkulu District) causing the water quality is not controlled and there is no valid data for data management of the waters of the river basin. So the purpose of this study to analyze the quality of river water in the river watershed segmentation Bengkulu. In order to obtain the level of water quality and water pollution index of a river that became a trend among regions and be detail data for watershed management policies. This study was conducted to test the water quality of the physical parameters, chemical and biological by comparing the results of laboratory tests of water quality 2 seasons. This method is very good for being able to analyze and describe the trend of changes in water quality in the watershed Bengkulu. Data obtained from secondary data and primary data. Secondary data is the result of testing during the dry season. Primary data are data that represent the results of field tests of the rainy season. After the data collected then do the test according to river water quality standards appropriate Government Regulation No.82 of 2001 each parameter water. Then calculated the level of pollution in accordance with the model storet Minister of Environment Decree 115 of 2003. Based on exposure to the above results it can be concluded that the water quality in the watershed physically Bengkulu river water during the rainy season and dry season condition with variations in color and turbidity is murky brownish with no difference significant changes in temperature. Chemical and Biological water quality is a significant change in the elements of the TSS, BOD5, COD, and metal content (Fe, Mn, and Cu) which exceeds the limit of the watershed water quality standard Bengkulu. These changes will have an impact on water biota that live in the river because of the water conditions so. So it can be seen that the river water biota disrupted by the changes in the water. Indications are some companies that exist in mines and factories dump wastes in the river. The quality of water exceeds the water quality standards in the segment of river watershed upstream section that is affected by the mining activities and encroachment of forests due to agricultural extension ie oil palm plantations by the community. While in the Central Part of the watershed is affected by rubber and palm oil processing plant palm. Bengkulu watershed-level water contamination, that the river is heavily polluted with values ​​exceeding water quality standards of pollution. Pollution caused by the exploitation of mining and agricultural extension in DAS Bengkulu give clear results that Bengkulu river is heavily polluted with an indicator that the water turbidity never be above normal during the rainy season and the dry season and the area of ​​the river segment

    The objective of this research is to find out whether Service-Learning Model influences to students'learning achievement result. This is a quasi experiment Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research is conducted on SMA Negeri 5 Malang where XI-IPS 2 as the experimental group and XI-IPS 1 as the control group. The students' achievement result is used as the data of reseach. They are analyzed by comparing the gain score of students' learning achievment result through SPSS 17.0 windows program. The result of the research shows that the Service-Learning Model has influence to students' learning achievement result.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran Service-Learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 5 Malang. Kelas eksperimen ialah kelas XI-IPS 2 dan kelas kontrol ialah kelas XI-IPS 1. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah hasil belajar.     The purpose to be achieved in this research is to improve activities and students learning outcomes in subtheme the importance of their own health and the environment through the implementation of cooperative learning type of STAD. The approach applied in this research is the Classroom Action Research (CAR). Subject in this research is student of class V SDN Mangunharjo 02. Collecting data in this research using observation and test. Data were analyzed using reduction data, data exposition, and make a conclusion. The result research is show that: (1) there is an increased learning activities from first cycle to second cycle by 14%, (2) there is an increase learning outcomes from first cycle to second cycle by 30%.Tujuan penelitian yang ingin dicapai yaitu untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi subtema pentingnya kesehatan diri dan lingkungan melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Pendekatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Mangunharjo 02. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat peningkatan aktivitas belajar dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua sebesar 14% dan (2) peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua sebesar 30%

    This study aimed to learn discipline and responsibility, as well as how to discipline relations with the responsibilities of student learning. This type of research is descriptive correlation with a quantitative approach. Collecting data using a questionnaire with fourth grade students object Cluster III District of Ngimbang Lamongan. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis. The results of data analysis known to most students have the discipline and sense of responsibility of higher learning, correlation values obtained Perason rhitung of 0.823 with significance value = 0.000. rtabel with degrees of freedom (df = 90) for α = 0.05 value obtained 0.205. The next step to do a comparison, where the value is greater than rtabel rhitung (0.823> 0.205), and in addition the significant value gained less than α = 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) so that it can be concluded, and there is a relationship of discipline with responsibility learn.Tujuan penelitian mengetahui kedisiplinan dan tanggung jawab belajar, serta bagaimana hubungan disiplin dengan tanggung jawab belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan objek siswa kelas IV SD Gugus III Kecamatan Ngimbang Kabupaten Lamongan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi pearson. Hasil analisis data diketahui sebagian besar siswa memiliki disiplin dan rasa tanggung jawab belajar tinggi, uji korelasi Perasondidapatkan nilai rhitung sebesar 0,823 dengan nilai Signifikansi = 0,000. rtabel dengan derajat bebas (df=90) untuk α = 0,05 didapatkan nilai 0,205. Langkah selanjutnya dilakukan perbandingan, di mana nilai rhitung lebihbesar daripada rtabel (0,823 > 0,205), dan selain itu nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh kurang dari α = 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkanserta terdapat hubungan disiplin dengan tanggung jawab belajar

    PENGARUH KEBIASAAN BELAJAR DAN SELF-EFFICACY TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR GEOGRAFI DI SMA

Data dikumpulkan dengan menyebarkan angket dan dokumentasi dari 94 responden. Kebiasaan belajar diukur dengan angket kebiasaan belajar yang dikembangkan oleh Bakare 1971. Instrumen Motivation and Strategy Learning Quetionare (MSLQ) yang dikembangkan oleh Pintrich dkk tahun 1991 digunakan untuk mengukur self-efficacy, sedangkan hasil belajar siswa diperoleh dari nilai rata-rata ulangan. Setelah data terkumpul, dianalisis secara statistik dengan teknik regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa  (1) kebiasaan belajar secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 65,60%, (2) Self-efficacy secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 15,80%, dan (3) kebiasaan belajar dan self-efficacy secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan sumbangan efektif sebesar 65,20%. Kata Kunci: kebiasaan belajar, self-efficacy, hasil belajar

    PENGARUH MODEL EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR SISWA SMA

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Experiential Learning models developed by Kolb's theory of the critical thinking skills of high school students. This study uses a quasi experiment conducted in SMA Assa'adah Gresik. The population of students of class X IS second semester of academic year 2015/2016. Samples are 2 classes that are homogeneous. Methods of data collection using test questions and the ability to think critically using observation sheet. Data were analyzed by comparing the average acquisition value of critical thinking skills with experimental class control class. Average value of the critical thinking skills using model Experiential Learning higher at 80.9 while the control class is 71.2. Based on the average it can be concluded that the learning model of Experiential Learning can improve students' critical thinking skills. This study is expected to provide information on the application and benefits of the model Experiential Learning in teaching geography and make it more meaningful for students. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh model Experiential Learning yang dikembangkan oleh teori Kolb terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimen yang dilakukan di SMA Assa’adah Gresik. Populasi siswa kelas X IS semester genap tahun pelajaran 2015/2016. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 2 kelas yang bersifat homogen. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes kemampuan berpikir kritis serta menggunakan lembar observasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan membandingkan rata-rata perolehan nilai kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas kontrol dengan kelas eksperimen. Nilai rata rata kemampuan berpikir kritis yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Experiential Learning lebih tinggi, yaitu sebesar 80,9, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 71,2. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Experiential Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan informasi tentang penerapan dan manfaat model Experiential Learning dalam pembelajaran Geografi dan supaya lebih bermakna bagi siswa
