This paper theoretically discusses the photon emission spectra of a superconducting pn-junction. On the basis of the second order perturbation theory for electron-photon interaction, we show that the recombination of a Cooper with two p-type carriers causes drastic enhancement of the luminescence intensity. The calculated results of photon emission spectra explain characteristic features of observed signal in an recent experiment. Our results indicate high functionalities of superconducting light-emitting devices.Comment: 4 pages, 3 figures embedde

Transport properties of Andreev polarons in superconductor-semiconductor-superconductor junction with superlattice structure

Transport properties of a superconductor-semiconductor-superconductor (S-Sm-S) junction with superlattice structure are investigated. Differential resistance as a function of voltage shows oscillatory behavior under the irradiation of radio-frequency (RF) waves with the specific frequency of 1.77 GHz regardless of the superconducting materials and the junction lengths. Experimental data are quantitatively explained in terms of the coupling of superconducting quasiparticles with long-wavelength acoustic phonons indirectly excited by the RF waves. We propose that the strong coupling causes the formation of novel composite particles, Andreev polarons.Comment: 4 pages, 4 figure

The main task of the judge is to accept, examine and try and settle every case submitted to him. It seems very simple for the judge's duties as referred to in Article 2 paragraph 1 of Law Number 48 of 2009, but in reality it is not easy and that simple. The formulation of the problem in this study is 1) What is the Basic Consideration of Judge Judge Number 41 / Pid.Sus / 2018 / PN Batu Licin about the case of circulating pharmaceutical preparations for the list of G types of carnopen that do not have permission? 2) How is the Decision Number 41 / Pid.Sus / 2018 / PN Batu Licin concerning the case of circulating pharmaceutical preparations of the list of drugs G type carnopen that do not have permission in terms of aspects of justice? The approach used in this writing is normative juridical. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Analysis of legal materials used in this study is descriptive quality. The results of the analysis show that the basis for the Judgment of Judge Number 41 / Pid.Sus / 2018 / PN Batu Licin about the case of circulating pharmaceutical drug preparations list G types of carnopen which do not have permission, namely subjectively in this case, which is concerning a priori behavioral attitudes, behavioral attitudes emotional, arrogant and moral attitude. Objectively, that is regarding social, cultural and economic backgrounds, professionally. Decision Number 41 / Pid.Sus / 2018 / PN Batu Licin concerning cases circulating pharmaceutical preparations of the list of G types of carnopen which do not have permission in terms of justice, namely 1) declaring the aforementioned Defendant Candra Bin Rahmadi legally and convincingly guilty committing a criminal offense "intentionally circulating Pharmaceutical preparations that do not have marketing authorization" as in the primary indictment 2) Imposing a sentence to the Defendant because of that with imprisonment for 1 (one) year and 2 (two) months and a fine of Rp.2,000,000 00 (two million rupiahs) with the provision that if the fine is not paid is replaced by a confinement for 1 (one) month; and 3) Determine the period of arrest and detention that has been carried out by the Defendant entirely deducted from the sentence imposed

Enhanced light absorption in thin-film solar cells with light propagation direction conversion

Enhancement of optical absorption in thin-film solar cells (TF-SCs) has been the long-lasting issue to achieve high efficiencies. Grating couplers have been studied for the conversion of incident light into guided modes propagating along TF-SCs to extend optical path for higher optical absorption. However the wavelength band for the efficient conversion remained relatively narrow and the overall improvement of TF-SC efficiencies has been limited. This paper demonstrates that the grating height design as well as the phase matching condition is important for the enhancement of optical absorption in TF-SCs with the calculation of short-circuit currents as a figure of merit for optimization. The influence of the light absorption coefficients and grating coupling strengths on the light absorption bandwidth is also discussed

Conversion of Light Propagation Direction for Highly Efficient Solar Cells

Optical absorption coefficients are generally inherent to materials and are reduced for longer optical wavelengths, especially below their absorption edges. In tandem solar cells this makes thicker bottom cells necessary to improve their optical absorption efficiencies for longer optical wavelengths. This paper proposes a method to convert the propagation direction of an incident light toward the one parallel to optical absorption layers. High-efficiency optical absorption is demonstrated with thin absorption layers with this method. Drastic reduction of layer thicknesses necessary for high photoelectric conversion efficiencies will reduce the cost and improve the yield of various solar cells

Highly conductive GaAsNSe alloys grown on GaAs and their nonalloyed ohmic properties

Doping properties of Se in GaAsN alloys grown on GaAs (001) substrates by metalorganic-molecular-beam epitaxy were studied. Ditertiarybutylselenide (DtBSe) precursor was used as a Se source. It was found that Se was incorporated into GaAs and GaAsN layers up to a considerable concentration of ~15%. It was also suggested that the N concentrations in GaAsNSe layers were increased by the DtBSe supply. The GaAsNSe layers were heavily doped n type, and the maximum electron concentration was as high as ~1×10(20) cm(–3). With the increase of the carrier concentrations, the resistivity of GaAsNSe dramatically decreased to 1.2×10(–4) Ω cm. This made it possible to have ohmic contacts without thermal annealing, which indicates that GaAsNSe alloys are an attractive candidate for the formation of nonalloyed ohmic contacts
