    In planning forest rehabilitation, support is needed so that the process of implementing forest rehabilitation can run well, rehabilitation of forests and land RHL has a major influence on the condition of the surrounding area because the purpose of forest and land rehabilitation is to improve, restore and restore the condition of damaged forests so that they can function with both as a regulator of water governance. The purpose of this study is to describe the forest rehabilitation planning process, and  find out community support in forest rehabilitation planning. This research was conducted for 2 months from August to September 2019 in Wawujai Village, Marawola Barat District, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. The method in this Paeneltian uses descriptive research methods using primary data and secondary data as the type and source of data, at the data collection stage the data collection techniques used were interviews with 100 respondents of household heads who deliberately chose Purposive Sampling. From the results of the study found the characteristics of respondents consisted of education, employment, income for the rehabilitation plan of the forest area to be rehabilitated covering 50 hectares, 80 percent of respondents were supported and 20 respondents did not support forest rehabilitation planning.Keywords :Community support,planning,forest rehabilitatio

    Anoa is a wildlife species highly sensitive and selective to the habitat preferences. The study aims to identify the anoa habitat condition in the Nature Reserve of Pangi Binangga, environmental factors which determine the habitat of anoa, including other types of key vegetation of anoa habitats. The research method used is purposive sampling. Sample is determined by observation the track. Habitat of anoa is found such as footprints, skeleton and faeces that located on the highland, flat-sloping, near to the river, mild temperature on moist and acid soils. The density of trees, poles, sapling, seedlings and herbs respectively 302, 430, 1280, and 53250 inviduals/ha. Stratification of vegetation canopy consists of stratum B, C, D and E. The average of stand bassal area is 43.10 m2/ha. Habitat of anoa in Pangi Binangga Nature Reserve are dominated by tree species of Planchonella firms, Castanopsis acuminatissima, Platea sp., Magnolia liliifera, Palaquium quercifolium. The key indicator plants of anoa habitat are Alpinia sp, Diplazium esculentum (Rezt.) Sw. and Pinanga caesia

    Forests and surrounding communities are two components of the ecosystem that must be prioritized for attention in an effort to ensure sustainable management of forest resources. Sustainable forest resources are expected to provide life insurance for the surrounding community. The life of the village community around the forest cannot seek from the existence of the forest where they depend for their livelihood, the forest is a source of fulfillment of their daily needs and a source of family income. The purpose of this study aims to see people's preferences for forest use in Labuan Kungguma Village, Labuan District, Donggala Regency. This research was conducted for two months, from October to December 2016. The research location was located in Labuan Kungguma Village, Labuan District, Donggala Regency. The research method used a survey method, which describes quantitatively the tendency of preferences for the use of forest resources from a community population in Labuan Kungguma Village, Labuan District, Donggala Regency. The types and sources used are primary data and secondary data. The number of respondents who will be interviewed in this study in 30 households, using the assessment method. Respondents were selected using simple random sampling method. The results of the research in Labuan Kungguma Village, Labuan District, Donggala Regency, show that the highest preference for forest use for the community in Labuan Kungguma Village is the use of production forests as a source of land for gardening, processing wood pads, and rattan collectors.Keywords: Preference, Forest Utilization, Local Communities, Production Fores

    Local wisdom is positive human behavior in dealing with nature and the surrounding environment that can be a source of religious values, customs, or local culture that is scientifically developed in a community to adapt to the surrounding environment. The tribe of saluan originates from Banggai Regency, which has long lived in Tojo Una-Una Regency. The Saluan tribe people use the forest in their daily lives both as food and ingredients for local medicines. This research was conducted from February to April 2019, using qualitative descriptive methods by extracting key informant information, so that this study could describe a particular condition or group of people systematically, factually and accurately based on facts in the field . Data collection techniques are done through interviews using questionnaires. The results and discussion showed that the Saluan tribe villagers with their local wisdom still strongly adhere to tradition, which was obtained from their ancestors. This can be seen in the process of land selection, plant selection in land use, and farming patterns. Planting basic needs such as rice and corn because the Saluan people believe that the newly opened land is still fertile. The villagers of supply villages in cutting down trees with local wisdom, must comply with the provisions of the customary leader so that they are not sanctioned, with the development of the sanctions are no longer applied, but the villagers of Supply Village are still strong in appealing to traditions obtained from their ancestors

    Change of function of forest land is a change in the function of the main forest into non-forest areas such as, settlements, agricultural areas and plantations. The community has the incentive to perform the function of forest land. The purpose of this study is to determine the community's motivation to transfer the function of forest land to agricultural land in the village. Bakubakulu Palolo Subdistrict, Sigi Regency. This research was carried out for three months, from May to June 2017. The research location was in Bakubakulu Village Palolo Subdistrict, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by using information retrieval through surveys (observation directly) to the object to be examined, including observations of actual conditions in the field consisting of observations of the conversion of the function of forest land into agricultural land by the community in Bakubakulu Village, Palolo District, Sigi Regency. The method used is descriptive in 1-3-5. The results of the study indicate the level of community motivation based on material needs is very high. The community conducts the conversion of the function of forest land into agricultural land in order to have productive land for agricultural / gardening activities in order to get good harvests. to meet daily needs.Keywords: Motivation, Forest Land Function Expert, Communit

    Desa Bakubakulu merupakan salah satu desayang ada di daerah peyangga Taman Nasional Lore Lindu dan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan dibidang agroforestri dan pemanfaatan hasil hutan bukan kayu. Desa ini juga merupakan lokasi pelaksanaan praktek lapangan mahasiswa Fakultas kehutanan Universitas Tadulako. Sehingga sangat besar peluangnya untuk dikembangkan menjadi Desa Mitra Fakultas Kehutanan Universitas Tadulako. Potensi lahan agroforestry berbasis kakao dan hasil hutan bukan kayu yang tinggi. Namun saat ini hasil produksi kakao yang menjadi sumber pendapatan pokok masyarakat mulai menurun. Hal ini dikarenakan pertumbuhan tanaman kakao yang kurang baik, biji buah yang dihasilkan berukuran kecil, tanaman dan buah kakao mudah terserang hama dan penyakit.Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam program pengabdian ini adalah Meningkatkan produktivitas lahan agroforestry berbasisi kakao di Desa Bakubakulu sehingga dapat meningkatkan taraf hidup dan persepsi masyarakat dalam menjaga keutuhan fungsi kawasan Taman Nasiona Lore Lindu. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan dan target adalah Bentuk IPTEKS pendidikan seperti penyuluhan, pelatihan yang dilanjutkan dengan penerapan teknologi dan pendampingan.Hasil Pengabdian menunjukkan kelompok tani mitra sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini dan dapat memahami fungsi Taman Nasional Lore Lindu sehingga perlu ikut menjaga kelesteriannya. Melalui kegiatan pelatihan pemeliharaan kakao yang berkelanjutan dan ramah lingkungan dapat meningkat hasil panen kakao sehingga terjadinya peningkatan pendapata

    This study aims to determine institutional readiness in village forest management. This research was conducted from April to May 2020, in Uemea Village, Toili Sub-District, Banggai District, Central Sulawesi Province. This sampling was based on certain criteria, according to the research to be achieved. The selection of respondents in this study were 30 people and based on the consideration that the respondents were stakeholders or groups of village forest management institutions, forest communities and who were directly involved in forest management. This make it easier for researcher to explored the object or social situation under study. The result of this reasearch showed that the readiness of LPHD in village forest management was in the medium category. The organizational aspects, availability of human resources and the knowledge of LPHD management were in the high category, while the aspects of clarity of work area management and the availability of funding were in the low category.Keywords: Readiness, Institutional, Village fores

    Community Forest is a state forest whose use is aimed at empowering the local community. Local community empowerment is an effort to improve the ability and independence of the community to utilize forest resources optimally and fairly through capacity building and granting access in order to improve community welfare. In 2013 HKm in Bakubakulu Village has been designated as an HKm working area by the Minister of Forestry with No: SK. 515/Menhut-II/2013, followed by the granting of IUPHKM to the Lestari Permai Farmers Group by the Regent of Sigi. This research was conducted in two ways, namely; The first method of determining the number of samples used is to take half of the total population to represent the overall population. Second, using the technique of sampling by way (Simple Random Sampling), where random sampling is done so that the representation of the results for sampling does not occur bias or errors from the total population and uses quantitative descriptive analysis to find out the amount of community acceptance from the Community Forest program. From the results of this study revealed that the acceptance of farmers in the HKm area in Bakubakulu village is Rp. 264,450,000 / year. While the reception outside HKm is 1,080,741,000 / year. The contribution of revenue from HKm land use to total household receipts is 39.7.Keyword: Community Forests, Contributions, Admission

    Companion is an effort to help the community grow their abilities and creativity through learning together. The role of the companion becomes a determining factor because the community requires psychological encouragement in development activities. One of the village forest locations is in Tongku Village, Tojo Sub-district, Tojo Una-Una Regency. Tongku village forest was established and approved by KPH Sivia Patuju in 2017. It is important to know the importance of the accompanying role in the development of the Tongku village forest so that harmony and reciprocity between the interests and the community around the forest can run well. Unfortunately, Tongku Village only has 1 companion. The analysis used in this research is a quantitative descriptive analysis with a Likert scale. Likert scale is used to measure the attitudes, opinions and perceptions of a person or group of people about social phenomena. The results showed that the score of companion scoring in facilitating village forest 147 (very high), guiding the utilization of NTFP 111 (quite high), forming a KUPS 136 group (High) and increasing creative economy efforts 83 (medium).Keywords: Companionship, community forest, construction and roles

    The Community Forest Program (HKm) is one of the efforts to preserve forest areas and provide benefits to the community. This study aims to determine how the community's dependence on the existence of community forests in Wombo Kalonggo Village, Tanantovea District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi Province. February 2022. The sampling of this research used a purposive sampling technique, which is a method of determining the sample by selecting certain samples that were judged to be in accordance with the objectives or research problems. This research data collection was carried out through interviews guided by an open questionnaire. The results showed that the village community Wombo Kalonggo has a high to very high dependence on community forestry, which can be seen from the majority of land-based occupations, the frequency of activities in the forest, the area of arable land in the forest, the distance from where they live. failed to enter the forest, as well as the use of forest products. This dependence is due to the community's need for land for farming and forests as a source of meeting community needs such as food, firewood, and building materials
