Text Classification For Authorship Attribution Analysis
Authorship attribution mainly deals with undecided authorship of literary
texts. Authorship attribution is useful in resolving issues like uncertain
authorship, recognize authorship of unknown texts, spot plagiarism so on.
Statistical methods can be used to set apart the approach of an author
numerically. The basic methodologies that are made use in computational
stylometry are word length, sentence length, vocabulary affluence, frequencies
etc. Each author has an inborn style of writing, which is particular to
himself. Statistical quantitative techniques can be used to differentiate the
approach of an author in a numerical way. The problem can be broken down into
three sub problems as author identification, author characterization and
similarity detection. The steps involved are pre-processing, extracting
features, classification and author identification. For this different
classifiers can be used. Here fuzzy learning classifier and SVM are used. After
author identification the SVM was found to have more accuracy than Fuzzy
classifier. Later combined the classifiers to obtain a better accuracy when
compared to individual SVM and fuzzy classifier.Comment: 10 page
Design and Implementation of a Distributed Encryption System for the Cloud
?Big Data ?- voluminous and variety of data from different sources. The Data can be either in the form of structure (or) unstructured Data. Privacy and security of Big Data is gaining high importance, since all the technologies are started to depend on Big Data. It is difficult to work with using most relational database management systems, desktop statistics and visualization packages since it requires massive parallel software running on tens, hundreds or even thousands of servers. In this paper, we are going to discuss the Hadoop and the method for maintaining the privacy & security of big Data. Originally Hadoop was invented without any security model. The main goal is to propose a Hadoop system that maintains privacy and security at the client system. Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) enables protection to data at each cluster, it performs encryption/decryption before read/write respectively and we are using SHA 1 for user authorization
Ergonomic Design of Noseless Bicycle Saddle using UPVC/Silica-Aerogel
Introduction: During cycling most of the people suffer from perineal pain due to the pressure acting on the perineal area by the nose of the seat. Also Unsupported sitting on the saddle in a forward bending posture for longer time induce low back pain (LBP) among cyclists. So this paper presents the design of noseless bicycle seat with backrest using UPVC/Silica-Aerogel.
Methods: This seat is designed as per the anthropometric dimensions of human body. Various parameters such as Lumbar position, seat tilt angle, seat position, backrest angle, seat height, backrest height, seat and backrest width are considered and the optimal value is determined while designing. The material chosen for the base of seat is UPVC/Silica- Aerogel composite and the cushioning material is chosen as polyurethene foam. The design is executed in 3D modelling software and validated using FEA package.
Results: The maximum stresses induced in the newly proposed material UPVC/Silica-Aerogel (4.41MPa) is lesser than its yield strength (59 MPa). The maximum anterior stress of noseless seat is found out to be 24.5 kPa which is lower than that of the saddle with nose (41 kPa).
Conclusion: As the anterior stress of noseless seat is lesser, the perineal pressure of cyclists is greatly reduced and this decreases the health problems associated with the perineal pressure. Also the backrest of the seatpan enhances the supporting of back muscles and reduces LBP among cyclists
Measures to Evaluate the Superiority of a Search Engine
Main objective of a search engine is to return relevant results according to user query in less time. Evaluation metrics are used to measure the superiority of a search engine in terms of quality. This is a review paper presenting a summary of different metrics used for evaluation of a search engine in terms of effectiveness, efficiency and relevancy
Analysis and implementation Of Data mining techniques using Naive-Bayes Classifier and Neural Networks
Taking wise career decision is so crucial for anybody for sure. In modern days there are excellent decision support tools like data mining tools for the people to make right decisions. This paper is an attempt to help the prospective students to make wise career decisions using technologies like data mining. In India technical manpower analysis is carried out by an organization named NTMIS (National Technical Manpower Information System), established in 1983-84 by India's Ministry of Educatio
Video content analysis and retrieval system using video storytelling and indexing techniques
Videos are used often for communicating ideas, concepts, experience, and situations, because of the significant advances made in video communication technology. The social media platforms enhanced the video usage expeditiously. At, present, recognition of a video is done, using the metadata like video title, video descriptions, and video thumbnails. There are situations like video searcher requires only a video clip on a specific topic from a long video. This paper proposes a novel methodology for the analysis of video content and using video storytelling and indexing techniques for the retrieval of the intended video clip from a long duration video. Video storytelling technique is used for video content analysis and to produce a description of the video. The video description thus created is used for preparation of an index using wormhole algorithm, guarantying the search of a keyword of definite length L, within the minimum worst-case time. This video index can be used by video searching algorithm to retrieve the relevant part of the video by virtue of the frequency of the word in the keyword search of the video index. Instead of downloading and transferring a whole video, the user can download or transfer the specifically necessary video clip. The network constraints associated with the transfer of videos are considerably addressed
Biophysical profile and modified biophysical profile in predicting the fetal outcome
Background: Baby’s well-being in utero is often done by using a cardiotocograph (CTG) machine, which assesses the baby’s heart beat pattern as well as the mother’s uterine contractions. However, lowered fetal movements sometimes may be fatal for the baby. Thus, the biophysical and the modified biophysical profile have been introduced. Methods: 242 patients with over 34 weeks of gestation and with one or more risk factors were included in the study. After taking the demographic details, the patients were subjected to detailed physical and clinical evaluation. Modified BPP was done on all the patients. Index of acute fetal hypoxia the NST was done along with the cardiotocograph (CTG). Amniotic fluid volume was calculated. Results: According to the fetal non-stress test, majority of the patients (70.7%) were reactive while 29.3% were non-reactive. Most of the patients had an amniotic fluid index in the normal range i.e. between 8 -<25, 18.6%) had an AFI value of <6 cm while 13.6% had between 6 - <8. Among the babies with reactive NST, non-reactive NST and AFI ≤5, the most common outcome was low birth weight. APGAR score <7 was observed in 11.1%, 13.1%, 20% among Reactive NST, Non-reactive NST and AFI ≤5 respectively. Conclusions: Present study shows that BPP and MBPP are both comparable to each other, therefore, MBPP, being an easier test can be substituted for BPP
Preparation And Characterization Of Novel Span 80: Tween-80 Based Organogels For Food And Pharmaceutical Industries
Tween 80-span 80 based organogels were prepared by fluid-filled structure mechanism by varying the composition of the organogels. The microstructures of the organogels were studied by light microscopy. The organogels were subjected to the accelerated stability test and time dependent stability test. The stable organogels were characterized by XRD, FTIR, and simultaneous DTA-TGA, pH and dc impedance measuring devices. Salicylic acid (model drug) was incorporated within the organogels and its release properties from the organogel matrices were studied. The antimicrobial efficiency of the salicylic loaded product was tested against Bacillus subtilis. The organogels were analyzed for biocompatibility using hemolysis studies. The microscopic studies indicated fluid-filled globular structures forming the gelled structures. The stability and the properties were found to be dependent on the proportion of the surfactant mixture (SM) and water. In general, when the ratio of SM: water was in the range of 1.3-1.6, the samples showed higher stability and improved properties. The release of SA from the organogels was found be combination of Fickian and non-Fickian kinetics. The samples showed good antimicrobial study and were found to be biocompatible in nature
