Employers\u27 Perspective: The Indicators of Reemploy Ability Needs for the Older Unemployed in Taiwan
The purpose of this study was to make short of reemploy ability needs scale. The results showed that the short version of the RANS contains six subscales, a total of 18 items, full-scale reliability was .91, explained variance 80.67%
Studies of Development for Senior Citizen Learning Project in Universities and Colleges - Using Taiwan as an Example
The study aims to an in-depth exploration in the implementation for three senior citizen learning projects of boarding learning, short-term learning and semester system plan conducted in universities and colleges in Taiwan. And the implementation status and experience are also analyzed
Contributions of hyperon-hyperon scattering to subthreshold cascade production in heavy ion collisions
Using a gauged flavor SU(3)-invariant hadronic Lagrangian, we calculate the
cross sections for the strangeness-exchange reactions YY to N\Xi (Y=\Lambda,
\Sigma) in the Born approximation. These cross sections are then used in the
Relativistic Vlasov-Uehling-Uhlenbeck (RVUU) transport model to study \Xi
production in Ar+KCl collisions at incident energy of 1.76A GeV and impact
parameter b=3.5 fm. We find that including the contributions of hyperon-hyperon
scattering channels strongly enhances the yield of \Xi, leading to the
abundance ratio \Xi^{-}/(\Lambda+\Sigma^{0})=3.38E-3, which is essentially
consistent with the recently measured value of by the HADES collaboration at GSI.Comment: 8 pages, 5 figure
A Research Model Construction of Impact of IT Usage on University Faculty’s Teaching Self-efficacy
Nowadays, the information technology has been widely used in teaching activities, enabling more and more teachers to improve and facilitate their ways of teaching and communicating. However, how does IT usage exert influence on teaching self-efficacy, especially in university classes, still needs to be further studied. Based on Bandura’s self-efficacy theory, and literature review of flipped classroom which is the most representative and latest application scenarios of information technology, we try to identify applicable conceptual dimensions of teaching self-efficacy of university faculty and to construct a research model of influencing mechanism of IT usage on faculty’s teaching self-efficacy. Further study directions are suggested at the end of the research
Quantum simulation of artificial Abelian gauge field using nitrogen-vacancy center ensembles coupled to superconducting resonators
We propose a potentially practical scheme to simulate artificial Abelian
gauge field for polaritons using a hybrid quantum system consisting of
nitrogen-vacancy center ensembles (NVEs) and superconducting transmission line
resonators (TLR). In our case, the collective excitations of NVEs play the role
of bosonic particles, and our multiport device tends to circulate polaritons in
a behavior like a charged particle in an external magnetic field. We discuss
the possibility of identifying signatures of the Hofstadter "butterfly" in the
optical spectra of the resonators, and analyze the ground state crossover for
different gauge fields. Our work opens new perspectives in quantum simulation
of condensed matter and many-body physics using hybrid spin-ensemble circuit
quantum electrodynamics system. The experimental feasibility and challenge are
justified using currently available technology.Comment: 6 papes+supplementary materia
