A country full of Lloronas: La Llorona as a protest symbol against enforced disappearances in Mexico

La Llorona, or the Weeping Woman, is perhaps the most famous figure of Mexican supernatural folklore. This murderous mother turned into a restless spirit has traditionally been used as a cautionary tale for children; however, she has acquired a new meaning in present-day Mexico. The war against drug cartels that began in 2006 has resulted in an unprecedented wave of violence. The country is currently facing an epidemic of enforced disappearances with thousands of citizens who are detained by the authorities and are never seen again. Since the Mexican government has failed to address this crisis, activists are raising their voices to help bring justice and closure to the families of the victims. La Llorona has become a symbol of their struggle. This thesis explores how Mexican activists and artists transform La Llorona and turn her into an appealing symbol of protest against enforced disappearance, and how, in doing so, they challenge patriarchal values and colonialism

La presente investigación se centra en el Diseño de un sistema basado en procesamiento digital de imágenes para agilizar el tiempo de lectura de las etiquetas en las cajas que contienen espárrago verde en el área de pesaje de la empresa Danper Trujillo SAC – Fundo Muchick. El trabajo fue realizado con la aprobación de la empresa Danper Trujillo SAC – Fundo Muchick. Quien tiene a su cargo las labores de etiquetado de esparrago verde dentro de su área de pesaje. En el primer capítulo se aborda la problemática del sistema de etiquetado que cuenta la empresa Danper Trujillo SAC – Fundo Muchick, presentando en el segundo capítulo un marco teórico referencial acerca de la forma de lectura de las etiquetas que llevan las cajas exportadas, además se toma la teoría necesaria para el procesamiento digital de una imagen. En el tercer capítulo, se presentan los materiales y procedimientos empleados en la presente tesis para la recolección y procesamiento de datos, para luego en el cuarto capítulo; analizar los resultados obtenidos. Finalmente se presentarán las conclusiones y recomendaciones del trabajo para futuras investigaciones.The present research focuses on the Design of a System Based on Digital Image Processing to expedite the reading time of the labels in the boxes containing green asparagus in the weighing area of the company Danper Trujillo SAC - Fundo Muchick. The work was carried out with the approval of the company Danper Trujillo SAC - . Fundo Muchick. Who is in charge of the tasks of labeling green asparagus within its weighing area. The first chapter deals with the problem of the labeling system that the company Danper Trujillo SAC - Fundo Muchick, presenting in the second chapter a theoretical framework about the way of reading the labels that carry the exported boxes, the theory necessary for the digital processing of an image. In the third chapter, we present the materials and procedures used in this thesis for the collection and processing of data, and then in the fourth chapter; analyze the results obtained. Finally the conclusions and recommendations of the work will be presented for future investigations

Diseño e implantación de un sistema de control interno aplicado a la cooperativa de ahorro y crédito San Miguel de Sigchos.

El trabajo investigativo se realizó en la Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito San Miguel de Sigchos, con el objetivo de elaborar un Manual de Funciones y de Procedimientos, a fin de que se establezca las líneas de Autoridad y Responsabilidad de los Empleados, en vista de que en varias Organizaciones no se da importancia a este factor que incide directamente con el desarrollo de las Instituciones. Además para tener una información real y objetiva se realizó técnicas de recolección, como son las encuestas y las entrevistas, se realizó también el correspondiente análisis e interpretación de resultados obtenidos en base a los datos que arrojo la aplicación de los instrumentos se determinó la necesidad de Diseñar e Implantar un Sistema de Control Interno, aplicado a la Cooperativa, el mismo que le permitirá obtener un gran Control en los campos Administrativos, Financieros y Operativos, con la finalidad de Alcanzar un alto rendimiento de las personas que laboran en la Institución, ser competitivo y por ende se logrará un mayor mercado a través brindar servicios Financieros de Calidad, líneas de Créditos accesibles y un mayor número de Socios

Diagnóstico para la recuperación y conservación del humedal de Guaymaral

El presente proyecto “Diagnostico para la recuperación y conservación del humedal de guaymaral, PRAE”, pretende dar a conocer las causas principales de la perdida ecosistemica del humedal de Guaymaral, tales como la invasión ilegal del área del humedal, deposito de residuos sólidos, y aguas residuales industriales y domesticas entre otras, donde la contaminación que se genera por las acciones de las comunidades aledañas, provocan así un desequilibrio ambiental que afecta las características naturales del humedal; además consta de una serie de actividades donde se establecen políticas enfocadas a la recuperación y conservación del humedal, como también a la concientización de toda la comunidad educativa que es la principal afectada por la problemática actual. El diagnostico planteado junto con sus soluciones, son una herramienta para el buen uso y cuidado que se requieran para promover el mejoramiento y mantenimiento del humedal, donde la educación ambiental y el uso sostenible del humedal son la base fundamental para la solución de muchos problemas medio ambientales que afectan los colegios y comunidad aledaña a este ecosistema. Dentro del desarrollo y resultados del proyecto se observa que la recuperación y conservación de un ecosistema como es el humedal de Guaymaral, involucra diferentes aspectos no solo en la parte física del humedal, sino también en las entidades del estado que se encargan de su manejo y administración sin generar respuestas o acciones encaminadas a su recuperación. Por tanto se concluye que el manejo ambiental del humedal de Guaymaral necesita apoyo público y privado, donde el presente proyecto es una herramienta que se requiere para su recuperación y conservaciónThe present project “Diagnose for the recovery and conservation of the guaymaral humedal, PRAE”, it seeks to give to know the main causes of the lost ecosistemica of the humedal of Guaymaral, such as the illegal invasion of the area of the humedal, deposit of solid residuals, and industrial residual waters and you tame among other, where the contamination that is generated by the actions of the nearly communities, causes this way an environmental imbalance that affects the natural characteristics of the humedal; it also consists of a series of activities where politicians settle down focused to the recovery and conservation of the humedal, as well as to the concientización of the whole educational community that is the main one affected by the current problem. The diagnoses outlined together with their solutions, they are a tool for the good use and care that are required to promote the improvement and maintenance of the humedal, where the environmental education and the sustainable use of the humedal are the fundamental base for the solution of many half environmental problems that they affect the schools and nearly community to this ecosystem. Inside the development and results of the project it is observed that the recovery and conservation of an ecosystem like it is the humedal of Guaymaral, it involves non alone different aspects in the physical part of the humedal, but also in the entities of the state that take charge of their handling and administration without generating answers or actions guided to their recovery. Burial taphonomy and megalithic ritual practices in Iberia: the Panoría cemetery

The cemetery of Panoría offers an excellent opportunity for exploring the ritual variability through the study of funerary taphonomy, as four of the nine recently excavated dolmens are remarkably well-preserved. Based on a multi-proxy approach that includes the contextual archaeological features, skeletal preservation and representation indexes, taphonomic processes, and radiocarbon chronology, three main ritual practices can be outlined: (i) primary sequential inhumations followed by the differential in situ decomposition of skeletal remains; (ii) the selective removal of crania and long bones; and (iii) the curation of subadult crania and probably long bones. Estructuración y aplicación de la Norma UNE 66177 para la Integración de las Normas ISO 9001 e ISO 45001 en Estaciones de Servicio de Gasolina en Boyacá

Introduction: Gasoline service stations currently have difficulty certifying their operating processes by corresponding entities, for this reason there is an interest in complying these standards through the comprehensive application of two technical standards such as ISO 9001: 2015 and ISO 45001:2018. Objective: Design and apply an integrated model of quality management and occupational health and safety, under requirements of the Colombian technical standard ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 for gasoline service stations in Boyacá, with a pilot company. Methodology: It was developed in three phases, initially it was discovered in the current conditions of gasoline service stations, later an integration model was started under the standards and finally the model was applied to the pilot Company. Results: The design of a comprehensive management system based on quality, safety and health at work was obtained through the application of two technical standards such as ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 respectively. Conclusions: An integrated management system based on ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 standards was designed, which is the first step to gasoline service stations can offer quality in the sale of fuel aligned with the regulatory requirements in resolution 0312 of 2019 and to meet the technical requirements of resolution 40405 of 2020.Introducción: Las estaciones de servicio de gasolina actualmente tienen dificultad en certificar sus procesos de funcionamiento ante los entes correspondientes, por tal motivo, surge el interés de cumplir con estándares internacionales mediante la aplicación integral de dos Normas Técnicas Colombianas como lo son la ISO 9001:2015 y la ISO 45001:2018. Objetivo: Diseñar y aplicar un modelo integrado de gestión de la calidad y seguridad y salud en el trabajo bajo los requisitos de las Normas Técnicas Colombianas ISO 9001 e ISO 45001 para las estaciones de servicio de gasolina de Boyacá, con aplicación en una empresa piloto. Metodología: Se desarrolló en tres fases, inicialmente se diagnosticaron las condiciones actuales de las estaciones de servicio de gasolina, posteriormente se diseñó un modelo de integración bajo las normas objeto de estudio y, por último, se aplicó dicho modelo a la empresa piloto. Resultados: Se obtuvo el diseño de un sistema de gestión integral basado en calidad, seguridad y salud en el trabajo mediante la aplicación de dos normas técnicas como lo son la ISO 9001:2015 e ISO 45001:2018 respectivamente. Conclusiones: Se diseñó un sistema integrado de gestión basado en las normas ISO 9001:2015 e ISO 45001:2018, que es el primer paso para que las estaciones de servicio de gasolina puedan ofrecer calidad en la venta de combustible, alineado con las exigencias normativas expuestas en la Resolución 0312 de 2019, y para cumplir los requisitos técnicos de la Resolución 40405 de 2020

Inventario de la flora marina del Archipiélago Sabana Camagüey, Cuba

Se presenta un inventario de especies de macroalgas y angiospermas marinas del Archipiélago Sabana-Camagüey (ASC). Se identificaron 379 taxones infragenéricos: 177 Rhodophyta, 49 Ochrophyta, 147 Chlorophyta y seis Magnoliophyta. El acumulado de especies representó el 78% de las conocidas para Cuba hasta 2005, lo que muestra la alta diversidad de macroalgas que posee este archipiélago. Todas las angiospermas marinas conocidas en nuestro país se encontraron en el ASC. La mitad oriental de la zona de estudio acumuló más especies (348) que la occidental (278) lo que puede deberse a la alta heterogeneidad de condiciones ambientales existentes en la primera.The inventory of macroalgae and marine angiosperms species of the Sabana-Camagüey Archipelago (ASC) is presented. 379 infrageneric taxa: 177 Rhodophyta, 49 Ochrophyta, 147 Chlorophyta and six Magnoliophyta were identified.
