PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN BAHAN BAKAR LPG TERHADAP EFISIENSI THERMAL, EKONOMISASI, DAN KONSUMSI BAHAN BAKAR MOBIL TOYOTA KIJANG 5K
Perkembangan teknologi otomotif dewasa ini semakin pesat. Ini terbukti dengan munculnya varian-varian baru pada kendaraan bermotor, baik sepeda motor maupun mobil. Dengan meningkatnya populasi kendaraan bermotor akan berdampak pada peningkatan konsumsi bahan bakar minyak (BBM). Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen, obyek penelitian adalah mobil Toyota Kijang tipe 5K 1500 cc, bahan bakar yang digunakan adalah premium dan LPG. Dengan menggunakan putaran mesin 800 rpm (idle) kemudian 1000 rpm-5000 rpm dengan range 500 rpm. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengujian rpm berubah pada beban penuh (Full Open Throttle Valve) dengan posisi transmisi top gear yang berpedoman pada standart SAE J 1349 DEC 80. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif yaitu mendeskripsikan data numeric yang diperoleh, kemudian dijelaskan dalam bentuk kalimat sederhana yang mudah dipahami. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan bahan bakar LPG pada mobil Toyota Kijang 5K 1500 cc torsi, daya, serta konsumsi bahan bakar yang dihasilkan mengalami penurunan. Penurunan torsi tertinggi sebesar 92,37% pada putaran 800 rpm (idle) dan penurunan terrendah 19,71% pada putaran 3500 rpm dengan menggunakan bahan bakar LPG, sedangkan untuk daya mengalami peningkatan dan penurunan pula. Daya mengalami peningkatan pada putaran 3500 rpm sebesar 20,00%, sedangkan penurunan terendah pada putaran 800 rpm (idle) sebesar 80,53%. Sedangkan untuk konsumsi bahan bakar mengalami peningkatan pada putaran 5000 rpm sebesar 0,55%, dan penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar terendah terjadi pada putaran 800 rpm sebesar 0,00%
Perancangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen pada Klinik Skala Kecil (Studi Kasus: Klinik Dr. Jonni)
The purpose of this research was to develop a database application at dr. Jonni clinic which can be used for processing and recording of operational data with an attractive user interface. Through the integrated database application, data on dr. Jonni clinic would be more structured, therefore data retrieval will go faster and more accurate, data security administration will be increased, data redundancy will be eliminated and service performance clinic dr. Jonni will also be increased. The method of analysis includes the study of literature, examination of documentation, observation, and interviews. While in the design, the method includes application design using the waterfall method models, database design and data modeling application screens using State Transition Diagrams. The results achieved from this research is an application of data base management hospital. With database applications, all data and information can be integrated well, so that it would improve the quality of services as well as facilitate storing and accessing data. Komunikasi Internasional dalam Era Informasi dan Perubahan Sosial di Indonesia
Komunikasi Internasional dalam era Informasi, mengalami Perubahan yang signifikan dalam dari segi aktor, metoda, dan efek yang ditimbulkan. Hadirnya internet beserta produk-produk informasi telah berhasil menembus hambatan geografis, batasan negara, ras, adat, budaya dll. Aktivitas warga negara sekarang semakin penting, mengingat setiap orang dapat langsung terhubung melalui jaringan informasi global. Kondisi ini juga menurunkan peran negara dalam pengambilan keputusan-keputusan penting. Era media massa elektronik seperti televisi yang khusus mempublikasikan berita (news television) juga perlahan digantikan dengan online media dan keberadaan media-media social dan jurnalisme warga. Perkembangan dalam teknologi komunikasi, beserta pengaruh-pengaruhnya bagi kehidupan bermasyarakat khususnya di Indonesia perlu diinformasikan dan disebarluaskan. Penelitian ini membahas Perubahan pada pola Komunikasi Internasional sebagai akibat dari perkembangan teknologi informasi di Indonesia. Pembahasan dilakukan melalui 6 studi kasus yang mewakili pembahasan tentang budaya global, kemunculan jurnalisme warga, keberadaan organisasi Internasional, praktek diplomasi,pembentukan opini publik, dan keamanan, khususnya organisasi terorisme Internasional. Tujuan penelitian ini agar masyarakat pengguna teknologi komunikasi dan informasi semakin sadar akan perkembangan dunia dewasa ini. Role of heavy-meson exchange in pion production near threshold
Recent calculations of -wave pion production have severely underestimated
the accurately known \ total cross section near
threshold. In these calculations, only the single-nucleon axial-charge operator
is considered. We have calculated, in addition to the one-body term, the
two-body contributions to this reaction that arise from the exchange of mesons.
We find that the inclusion of the scalar -meson exchange current (and
lesser contributions from other mesons) increases the cross section by about a
factor of five, and leads to excellent agreement with the data. The results are
neither very sensitive to changes in the distorting potential that generates
the wave function, nor to different choices for the meson-nucleon form
factors. We argue that \ data provide direct
experimental evidence for meson-exchange contributions to the axial current.Comment: 28 Pages, IU-NTC #93-0
Cross section and analyzing power of pol{p}p -> pn pi+ near threshold
The cross section and analyzing power of the pol{p}p -> pn pi+ reaction near
threshold are estimated in terms of data obtained from the pol{p}p -> d pi+ and
pp -> pp pi0 reactions. A simple final state interaction theory is developed
which depends weakly upon the form of the pion-production operator and includes
some Coulomb corrections. Within the uncertainties of the model and the input
data, the approach reproduces well the measured energy dependence of the total
cross section and the proton analyzing power at a fixed pion c.m. angle of
90deg, from threshold to T_p = 330 MeV. The variation of the differential cross
section with pion angle is also very encouraging.Comment: 20 pages, Latex including 4 eps figure
A search for two body muon decay signals
Lepton family number violation is tested by searching for
decays among the 5.8 positive muon decay events analyzed by the
TWIST collaboration. Limits are set on the production of both massless and
massive bosons. The large angular acceptance of this experiment allows
limits to be placed on anisotropic decays, which can arise
from interactions violating both lepton flavor and parity conservation.
Branching ratio limits of order are obtained for bosons with masses
of 13 - 80 MeV/c and with different decay asymmetries. For bosons with
masses less than 13 MeV/c the asymmetry dependence is much stronger and
the 90% limit on the branching ratio varies up to . This is
the first study that explicitly evaluates the limits for anisotropic two body
