The article investigates the geography of finance via an analysis of the investment behavior of large international equity investors. The main argument is based on the importance of financial markets and capital flows and on the central role played in them by institutional investors, the key actors of capitalism. This paper is original because it introduces geographic criteria, and thus institutional and cultural factors, for understanding the behaviour of investors. Financialisation of strategies, risk transfer, liquidity, property and control (In French)

The financialisation of strategies, as mentioned in the introduction, may be correlated with the dominant link between investment and funding. The principle of selection no longer seems to focus essentially on investment funding methods, but on investments themselves, according to a financial profitability criterion. The first part of the text deals with the question of “risk transfer”. The second part examines financialisation from the point of view of the principle of liquidity by emphasizing the importance of the assessment which markets exercise on the firms’ financial performance, but also on their industrial. The question of the link between property and control is dealt with in the third part of the text. It is explored in two phases: the link between structure and property rights on the one hand; the link between governance structure and resource allocation on the other hand. The general conclusion suggests placing the financial capital issue between science and magic. Ce séminaire est une restitution des principales avancées obtenues dans le cadre des projets ANR PEERLESS «viabilité d’une gestion écologique renforcée de la santé des plantes dans les paysages agricoles » (2013-2017) et FRB SEBIOPAG-PHYTO «déterminants agricoles parcellaires et paysagers des variations de niveaux de régulation biologique » (2014-2017). Le séminaire a rassemblé 60 scientifiques, pour moitié extérieure aux unités INRA partenaires de ces projets. Il s'est déroulé à Paris Paris les 27-28 novembre 2017

Dendara métropole

Le chantier « Dendara métropole » vise à étudier les divers aspects du temple d’Hathor dans son environnement, en portant les investigations sur l’étude architecturale des monuments ainsi que sur l’exploration archéologique des quartiers d’habitations et des cimetières. Outre la poursuite des travaux sur l’architecture monumentale, sur les secteurs associés aux fondations de Montouhotep II et sur la nécropole de l’Ancien Empire, la campagne 2019 a ouvert de nouvelles perspectives de recherche..
