Objective: The modern research is directed towards finding naturally occurring antioxidants of plant origin. To search for new sources of safe and inexpensive antioxidants, present study was undertaken to quantify total phenols and flavonoids and, evaluation and correlation of antioxidant potential of aqueous extract of Phyllanthus amarus Schum & Thonn, (PAAEt) belongs to Euphorbiace family under in vitro condition. Methods: Determination of total phenolic and flavonoid contents was performed by UV-visible spectrophotometer. The antioxidant potential of P. amarus was tested with different antioxidant test systems; inhibition of lipid peroxidation (LPO), scavenging of 1,1-Diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), hydroxyl, superoxide and nitric oxide radicals with reducing power. Results: The plant extract has appreciable amounts of total phenolic compounds (120±2.0 mg GA eq. g-1) and flavonoids (3.02±0.13 mg Q eq. g-1) of the extract. PAAEt exhibited effective and strong antioxidant activity in dose-dependent manners in inhibiting LPO (IC50 623.4 μg/ml) and scavenging of free radicals such as DPPH (IC50 200.2 μg/ml), hydroxyl (IC50 280.6 μg/ml), superoxide (IC50 201.5 μg/ml), nitric oxide (IC50 408.5 μg/ml) with reducing power (IC50 500.0 μg/ml). PAAEt showed effective and strong positive correlation with reducing power (r2= 0.972) and LPO inhibition (r2= 0.964) and free-radicals (P<0.05).Conclusion: Presence of high amount of phenolic and flavonoid compounds and appreciable amounts of IC50 for various free radicals and inhibition of LPO and reducing power with significant strong positive correlation for scavenging of free radicals, LPO inhibition and reducing power indicated that PAAEt has strong antioxidant potential.Â

The Smartphones usage has increased a lot with the advancement in technology coupled withincrease in their computing power. Smart phones are used by many people to store personal datasuch as images, files, contacts, videos and official data like confidential documents. They are also used maintain accounts like Gmail, Facebook, Twitter etc. So the security of smart phones is very important in order to restrict unauthorized access. This application mainly helps to enhance the security of smartphones. It provides real time acknowledgement to the user by sending an SMS and email for the registered mobile number and email id, when someone tries to unlock the mobile. It also provides the image of the persontrying to access the mobile along with the location details

Performance of coconut hybrids and varieties in the East coast of Andhra Pradesh

Coconut (Cocos nucifera L.) is one of the plantation crops with more life span, so suitability of a variety or hybrid for particular region may improve the productivity of the coconut. An experiment was carried out with seven hybrids and two varieties viz. Chandra Sankara (COD × WCT), Chandra Laksha (LCT x COD), VHC1 (ECT × MGD), VHC-2 (ECT × MYD), Kera Ganga (WCT × GBGD), Laksha Ganga (LCT × GBGD), Godavari Ganga (ECT x GBGD), Kera Chandra (Double Century) and Chandra Kalpa at Dr.YSRHUHorticultural Research Station, Ambajipeta, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Konaseema Dist., Andhra Pradesh. The experiment was initiated in 2002, in Randomized Block Design in three replicated blocks. The compiled data for six years (2015- 2021) revealed that, Godavari Ganga recorded significantly highest nut yield /palm/year (144.40 nuts) followed by VHC-2 (134.93 nuts) and Kera Ganga (133.33 nuts). Godavari Ganga recorded maximum copra yield of 3.20 t/ha and oil yield of 2.20 t/ha. Tender nut water quantity was recorded more (322.5 mL) in VHC-2 and Godavari Ganga. Due to its superior nut, copra and oil yield, Godavari Ganga and VHC-2 can be recommended for cultivation Andhra Pradesh

486-491A study was carried out to develop pumpkin soup tablet with enriched β-carotene which can be instantly reconstituted in hot water. Ingredients of pumpkin soup tablet namely pumpkin flour (32.5%), corn flour (19.4%), milk powder (14.5%), onion powder (3.2%), pepper powder (3.2%), coriander (1.3%), garlic (1.3%), saturated fat (6.5%) and salt (13.9%) were optimised. Maltodextrin and xanthan gum were used as emulsifier to prepare two variants of the soup cube formulations. Proximate composition, β-carotene, textural attributes and microbiological quality of the developed product were determined during storage at room temperature. Sensory acceptability of the product was evaluated by reconstituting the soup cube in hot water. The study revealed that the product was acceptable and could be reconstituted instantly in hot water. Soup tablets prepared with xanthan gum as emulsifier were superior in colour, texture and retention of β-carotene. The incorporation of pumpkin flour in soup cube enhanced its nutritional value to an extent of 50% of RDI for β-carotene. The product could be a convenient alternative for preparing an organoleptically acceptable soup instantly and thereby saving packaging cost and space

Analysis of Intelligent Classifiers and Enhancing the Detection Accuracy for Intrusion Detection System

In this paper we discuss and analyze some of the intelligent classifiers which allows for automatic detection and classification of networks attacks for any intrusion detection system. We will proceed initially with their analysis using the WEKA software to work with the classifiers on a well-known IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) dataset like NSL-KDD dataset. The NSL-KDD dataset of network attacks was created in a military network by MIT Lincoln Labs. Then we will discuss and experiment some of the hybrid AI (Artificial Intelligence) classifiers that can be used for IDS, and finally we developed a Java software with three most efficient classifiers and compared it with other options. The outputs would show the detection accuracy and efficiency of the single and combined classifiers used
