Dugotrajne promjene u koncentracijama polutanata u zraku - istraživanje skrivenih ciklusa
Svrha ovog rada bila je pronalaženje nevidljivih ciklusa u koncentracijama oneÄiÅ”ÄivaÄa i
vrijednostima praÄenih meteoroloÅ”kih parametara na podruÄju Slavonskog Broda. Istovremeno
su istraženi moguÄi utjecaji meteoroloÅ”kih parametara na prostornu i vremensku dinamiku tih
oneÄiÅ”ÄivaÄa.
Na temelju mjerenja oneÄiÅ”ÄujuÄih tvari na mjernoj postaji u Slavonskom Brodu
provedena je Fourierova analiza kvalitete zraka u 2010. godini. Analiza je obuhvatila sljedeÄe
oneÄiÅ”ÄivaÄe: H2S, O3, NO2. SO2 i lebdeÄe Äestice (PM2.5). Provedena je i Fourierova analiza
podataka satnih koncentracija meteoroloŔkih parametara:temperature, relativne vlage i brzine
vjetra. Pored uobiÄajenih,rezultati provedene Fourierove analize ukazali su na postojanje
zajedniÄkih varijacija meÄu oneÄiÅ”ÄivaÄima, ali i postojanje zajedniÄke periodiÄnosti izmeÄu
koncentracija nekih oneÄiÅ”ÄivaÄa i praÄenih meteoroloÅ”kih parametara.The purpose of this paper was to analyze pollutant concentration in urban and industrial
aria of Slavonski Brod so as determine correlation with meteorological parameters. Due to
results of pollution measurements, Fourier analysis was applied to these time series. H2S, O3,
NO2. SO2 and PM2.5 particles were measured in 2010. During that time hourly concentration of
pollutants were measured and their cycles were observed. This paper confirms the existence of
common peaks in the period region which most probably are connected to meteorological
influences

Possibilities of applying CORONA archive satellite images in forest cover change detection: Example of the FruŔka Gora Mountain
This paper examines the possibilities, advantages and limitations of the use of high resolution archive satellite images in evaluation of forest and other land cover changes, based on research in the sample area of the FruŔka Gora mountain (Serbia). Satellite images available from the declassified archives of CORONA program were used to assess the extent of forest cover in the past. By comparing the resulting datasets with newer images, changes in the forest coverage can be detected and reconstructed for a period of more than 40 years. Despite many limiting factors, the images provided valuable information about the state of the forest cover in the past. The methodology used can be utilized in other similar areas, where no other, more precise source is available about forest coverage, as a means of reasonably inexpensive and time efficient assessment of forest cover and other land use changes in the past five decades
