Abstract—The investment policies in some of manufacturing industries in Russia and Germany are described in article. Most appropriate industries for such an analysis are electronic and optical manufacturing and electrical equipment production and manufacturing of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers. Authors make comparative analyses of investment in manufacturing and changes in production value in these industries. Information base of research are Russian Statistical data service and Eurostat. Results allow making the following conclusion. Considering these parameters Russia manufacturing industry lags far behind Germany. A major problem lack of investment that in terms of sanctions and limited external financing will pose serious problems for the development of sub-DL and DM sector of manufactures in Russia Keywords- investment; manufacturing industries; comparative analysis I

Objective: to study the features of peripheral hemodynamics of the lower extremities of powerlifters depending on their experience and qualification. Materials and methods: the study of cardiovascular systemwas conducted in 38 men aged from 18 to 25 years engaged in powerlifting. 20 participants had sports categories (1-3) and 18 participantswere candidates or masters of sports. To study the regional blood flow in the areas of «foot», «calf» and «hip» the hardware and software complex «Reo-Spectrum-3» of «Neuro-Soft» were used. Results: significant decrease in the amplitude of the systolic wave, the arterial wave, the maximum systolic value of the venous component of the hip of powerlifters was revealed in comparison with the control group. A significant decrease in the amplitude-frequency index of powerlifters was also revealed. The index of fast filling was significantly lower in powerlifters. The values of the «inflow-outflow»ratio pointed at the change of the tonus of vessel wall in powerlifters. The average speed of slow filling indicated a decrease in the tonus of small and medium arteries in powerlifters. The change in vascular tone in powerlifters indirectly indicated a shift in the autonomic balance towards the predominance of sympathetic influences. All parameters showed an increased stress of the mechanisms of regulation of cardiac activity. Conclusions: the nature of blood circulation shifts includes changes in both the arterial and venous parts of the blood stream. The most pronounced changes in peripheral blood circulation were found in the areas of «calf» and «foot». With the growth of sports skills, the nature and degree of vascular changes increases, which indicates a decrease in the adaptive capacity of the vascular system of the lower extremities to intense physical activity

High-temperature piezoelectric materials for elements of linear piezo motors

    Get PDF
This paper discusses technological and construction ways to achieve a high working temperature with a high displacement in linear piezo motors. The first part reviews the results of the piezoelectric material development, its temperature stability testing and basic parameters for piezo motors. The second part focuses on the multilayer structure of piezoelectric elements, which are based on high-temperature piezoelectric materials (HTPM). Also analyzed are working temperatures of multilayer piezoelectric elements (MPE) and their hysteresis. Finally, the third part shows a comparison of three recent prototypes of high-temperature MPEs that were in our lab using different materials

Modeling the influence of age on the technical efficiency by sector and time periods

In today’s competitive economy, technological leadership and technical efficiency are key to the successful development of enterprises, countries and territories. This paper investigates the influence of factors on the technical efficiency of a business. Situations where technical efficiency is calculated by the DEA method, and its determinants are defined in regression models, including tobit regression models, have been considered. The determinants of technical efficiency identified by foreign researchers have been systematised. Modeling of the influence of the “Age” factor on the technical efficiency of enterprises in six leading sectors of Russia’s economy over the period 2015–2019 has been performed. It has been found that the “Age” factor has different effects on technical efficiency in different industry sectors. Particularly, in the food industry younger companies are more technically efficient, while mature companies are more technically efficient in the information technology sector. Accordingly, the directions and priorities for incentives should differ across sectors of the economy. In particular, the technological development of the food industry requires support for the generation processes of young enterprises and start-ups. In the information technology sector, the priority should be to support mature enterprises and the growth processes of young enterprises to maturity

IMPACT OF FLAGSHIP ENTERPRISES ON TERRITORIAL PRODUCTIVITY: AN ECONOMETRIC ANALYSIS AT THE MUNICIPALITIES’ LEVEL

    Get PDF
The article considers the direct and indirect influence of flagship enterprises on territorial productivity in the context of municipalities of three constituent entities of the Russian Federation. The authors suggest hypothesis that the presence of flagship enterprises affects positively on the level of territorial productivity. The paper  assumes that a number of socio-economic factors enhance the impact of flagship enterprises on territorial  productivity. The analysis of panel data from 84 municipalities in three regions of the Russian Federation confirmed the positive role of flagship enterprises in increasing the productivity of municipalities. These effects are particularly strong when the territory has a high income level, high population growth rates and low unemployment level. The results are characterized by high stability and make it possible to form recommendations  for governing bodies on creating conditions for faster growth

Digital capital of Russian enterprises: development trends in the digitalisation of the economy and the coronavirus pandemic

The digitalisation of the economy and the global coronavirus pandemic transfer competition for consumers into a virtual Internet environment, in which the enterprise success depends on its digital capital, which includes an Internet communication system with potential consumers. The article reveals the regularities and trends in the development of the enterprises digital capital focused on the retail market for the period 2017–2021. Economic and variance analysis of digital capital indicators based on the enterprises formed samples has been carried out. It has been noted that the leaders in the demand for websites are the trade and services industries. The global coronavirus pandemic in 2020–2021 became a powerful growth driver, with the major effect on enterprise website promotion is observed with a one year lag (in 2021). It has been found that the most industries enterprises are practically not engaged in the paid traffic development for their sites. Only real estate agencies actively interact with advertising Internet services. It has been shown that the enterprises digital capital development constantly requires new impulses or growth drivers and enterprises in most studied industries do not use the full opportunities range for increasing digital capital

Development of the it sector in Russia: drivers and stimulation methods

The development of the digital economy is directly linked to advances in the information technology sector. The information technology sector refers to a set of high-tech computer services. The article shows the place of this sector in the provision of high-tech services according to international and Russian statistical methodology. It has been substantiated that the information technology sector has a significant cumulative development effect. The IT sector refers to a set of high-tech computer services. The drivers of the information technology sector development have been identified and the government’s methods of stimulating it have been analysed. Particular attention has been paid to global external shocks to the industry, namely sanctions and the COVID-19 pandemic. The short term specifics of the information technology sector drivers have been highlighted. The role of the state as a facilitator of methods to stimulate industry development has been shown

Immunological assessment of plant-derived avian flu H5/HA1 variants.

Polypeptide variants of the HA1 antigenic domain of the H5N1 avian influenza virus hemagglutinin (HA) molecule were produced in plants using transient and stable expression systems and fused with His/c-myc tags or with mouse or human Fc antibody fragments. The resulting peptides were purified and used for intramuscular immunization of mice. While the recombinant HA1 variants induced a significant serum humoral immune response in the mice, none of the HA1 preparations induced virus-neutralizing antibodies. Fusion with the Fc fragment improved overall yield of the constructs and allowed purification requiring only a single step, but led to no detectable fusion-related enhancement of immunogenicity or quality of immune response
