A Critical Analysis Of Fundamental Rights And Legal Rights

    Get PDF
Public peace is most importance for the national growth and development. To achieve public harmony and tranquility, well settled and certain law is required. ‘Law’ confers the acts or things which should or should not be done. Doing otherwise is the violation of that particular law. To do or don’t a particular act or thing confers an obligation or duty for oneself. ‘One’s duty is the right of another’. If somebody is not doing his duties, then definitely hitting rights of another body. The suffered person got the right to knock the doors of justice. These Rights can be widely distinguished into two categories on the basis of their origin and power (i) Fundamental Rights (ii) Legal Rights. Fundamental Rights are distinct from the legal rights on many accounts. They got origin and authority straight way from Indian Constitution. The Constitution guarantees their protections. In case of any infringement of any of these rights, the Supreme Court or the concerned High Court can be knocked directly through Writs. These privileges are not available to the legal rights

Background: The prevalence of malnutrition is a significant area of concern in many developing countries, where it is a major public health problem. Objective: To estimate the prevalence of malnutrition and to find out association of malnutrition with some common variables amongst up to two years girls children.Material and Methods: Nutritional assessment was done using anthropometry and clinical examination. Children were weighed and measured as per the WHO guidelines on Anthropometry. Epi. Info 2002 software package was used to calculate the Z scores and for statistical analysis. Results: The study findings revealed that out of total 126 girls, more than half (53.2%) of the children studied were normal. Peak prevalence of malnutrition was observed in 1-2 years of age. Majority of the mothers of malnourished girls were illiterate (52.5%) and lower class (84.7%). More than half (52.2%) of the children were found normal who were on exclusive breastfed up to 6 months. Conclusions: The study found that malnourishment is linked with breast feeding practices, complementary feeding, literacy, socio-economic status, immunization status, looks (hygiene) and knowledge of mother about childhood illnesses, their treatment and family planning practices

In this current era of technology, industrialization and urbanization human beings have become more inclined towards unhealthy diet, sedentary lifestyle and stress which has given rise to various lifestyle related disorders of which Hypertension is of utmost significance. Considering its increasing prevalence and development of drug resistance a study related to clinical evaluation of Raktadabashamak Ghana Vati (a self formulated drug) consisting of Root of Jatamansi (Nordostachys jatamansi) - 1 part, Root of Gokshura (Tribulus terrestris) - 1 part, Stem Bark of Arjuna (Terminalia arjuna) - 1/2part, Whole herb of Brahmi (Bacopa monnireri) - 1 part. Root of Vacha (Acorus calamus) - 1/4 part, Root of Tagara (Valeriana wallichii) - 1/2 part, was undertaken in 20 hypertensive patients for 2 months. Results obtained with Raktadabashamak Ghana Vati 2 tablets twice daily after meals with luke warm water on 18 patients were 18.6% relief in Systolic Blood Pressure, 18.5% relief in Diastolic Blood Pressure, 9.3% relief in Pulse rate, 18.8% relief in Pulse pressure, 19.05% relief in Mean Arterial Pressure which were all statistically highly significant. Overall response of Raktadabashamak Ghana vati was excellent in 17.6% patients and marked improvement in 41.1%. These facts lead to the conclusion that Raktadabashamak Ghana vati can be a effective treatment for essential hypertension. Remission of treatment lead to increase in Blood pressure However, Study should be repeated by taking sample with longer duration to see whether the recurrence of disease in follow ups has decreased or not

High Density Impulse Noise Detection using Fuzzy C-means Algorithm

A new technique for detecting the high density impulse noise from corrupted images using Fuzzy C-means algorithm is proposed. The algorithm is iterative in nature and preserves more image details in high noise environment. Fuzzy C-means is initially used to cluster the image data. The application of Fuzzy C-means algorithm in the detection phase provides an optimum classification of noisy data and uncorrupted image data so that the pictorial information remains well preserved. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm significantly outperforms existing well-known techniques. Results show that with the increase in percentage of noise density, the performance of the algorithm is not degraded. Furthermore, the varying window size in the two detection stages provides more efficient results in terms of low false alarm rate and miss detection rate. The simple structure of the algorithm to detect impulse noise makes it useful for various applications like satellite imaging, remote sensing, medical imaging diagnosis and military survillance. After the efficient detection of noise, the existing filtering techniques can be used for the removal of noise.

Review of infrared carbon-dioxide sensors and capnogram features for developing asthma-monitoring device

Introduction: Asthma is one of the most common heterogeneous respiratory chronic diseases and fourteenth most imperative illness in the world in terms of duration and extent of disability. The existing method for early identification of asthma is based on health care provider’s physical assessment and spirometer or peak flow meter which is manual and unreliable if patients are non-cooperative. Therefore, capnography, which measured the respired carbon dioxide concentration, has been proposed as a patient independent method for the assessment of asthma. Aim: This study aims to critically review, investigate, and compare the specifications of different infrared CO2 sensors and capnogram features to develop an asthma-monitoring device. Materials and Methods: A rigorous and extensive search was carried out on Google scholar, the Web of Science, PubMed, and Scopus and several index terms (CO2 sensor, infrared sensor, CO2 measurement, asthma detection, capnograph, and capnogram) were employed to identify appropriate CO2 sensors, technology, and capnogram features to develop asthma monitoring device. Results: The review revealed that the COMET CO2 sensor is the most suitable and reliable for developing a capnograph device owing to its weight (7 g), output range (0-99 mmHg), warm-up time (2-15 s), and response time (0.028 s). Furthermore, slope and time-frequency components measured from alveolar phase and complete breath cycle respectively are found the most significant features to screen asthma severity level. Further, the effects of pressure and temperature on CO2 values were tested using Proteus software. Finding reveals that the CO2 values changed drastically from 17,835.19 parts per million (ppm) to 86,321.29 ppm as the pressure changed from 16.53 kPa to 81.53 kPa at a constant temperature (25°C). With a change in temperature from 25 to 27°C, the CO2 values were found to change from 16,812.19 ppm to 17,249.13 ppm at a constant pressure (16.53 kPa). Based on the review, a CO2 measurement device using COMET equivalent CO2 sensor was developed. Conclusion: The developed device is capable of the assessment of cardiorespiratory condition instead of asthma severity level due to lack of significant capnogram features, which still remains to be integrated into the device
