Differentiation of Burnout Syndrome by Profession and Job: Gazi Burnout Inventory

    Get PDF
Defined as the situation individuals undergo in the face of stress, burnout syndrome appears to be a handicap not only conveying the feeling of isolation towards a specific job or profession but diminishing the productivity of individual in profession-related settings as well. This study sets out to develop and design an attitude scale in order to explore the differentiation of burnout of individuals in terms of job and profession concepts. In order to measure professional and job burnout, a trial scale was formed covering 106 statements obtained from 80 students with a job or profession at an MBA program and this scale was administered. Reliability and validity analyses of the Data obtained were performed and as the results of the analyses performed a 14-item professional burnout scale and a 12-item job burnout scale were developed.burnout, measurement, professional burnout, job burnout

Implementation of Sensorless Field Oriented Control Algorithm for Variable-Speed Rotary Compressors Using Digital Signal Controller

    No full text
In this paper, a variable-speed rotary compressor controller was developed by using low-cost high performance digital signal controller. Sensorless control of compressor's interior permanent magnet synchronous motor is obtained using fundamental excitation method. Start-up, rotor alignment, merging, position and speed estimation algorithm was explained. Developed system was tested with a loaded rotary compressor that is the part of a heat-pump system and experimental results were presented

Realization of SV-PWM Motor Control Algorithm using ARM Cortex-M4 Based Microcontroller

    No full text
Space vector pulse width modulation (SV-PWM), which is the one of the sensorless control techniques of the permanent magnet AC motors, is preferred because it provides voltage and frequency control and produces less harmonics than the sinusoidal pulse width modulation (S-PWM) technique, respectively. In SV-PWM method; the fact that results of the complex equations should be performed in a given period of time by the microcontroller to calculate the required switching time, makes it difficult to implement algorithm in practice. This study includes the implementation of SV-PWM algorithm using ARM Cortex-M4 based microcontroller and experiments conducted on a motor
