    Analysis Mathematical Problem Solving Skills of Student in the Class XI Vocational High School of Sartika

    This study aims to see the level of problem solving skills of students of class XII SMK on statistical materials. This type of research used qualitative descriptive research. The research data were obtained from the appropriate test of problem solving indicator. Subjects of students of SMK Sartika Rantauprapat class XII as many as 35 students. The result of the research is from 5 indicators of problem solving ability, 4 of them reach score <65%. and 1 achieved a score of ≥ 65% and from score of each student who has problem solving ability is from 35 students there are 14 students who achieve score ≥ 65% and 21 students reach score <65%.     PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN INTERAKTIF BERBASIS WEBSITE (GOOGLE SITES) PADA MATERI FUNGSI DI SMA NEGERI 15 MEDAN

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan: media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Website (Google Sites) pada materi fungsi (fungsi komposisi dan fungsi invers) di SMA Negeri 15 Medan dengan kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas X IPA di SMA Negeri 15 Medan. Objek pada penelitian ini yaitu media pembelajaran interaktif yang dikembangkan berbasis Website (Google Sites) pada materi fungsi. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh: (1) media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Website (Google Sites) pada materi fungsi di SMA Negeri 15 Medan telah berkriteria valid dengan kategori “Sangat Baik” berdasarkan perolehan skor oleh ahli materi yaitu 4,37 (valid) dan ahli media yaitu 4,35 (valid); (2) penilaian pada kepraktisan media telah berkriteria praktis dengan kategori “Sangat Baik” oleh guru diperoleh skor yaitu 4,8 (praktis) dan oleh siswa pada uji coba kelompok kecil dan besar yaitu 4,38 (praktis) dan 4,44 (praktis); (3) keefektifan pada media dari hasil tes siswa diperoleh persentase ketuntasan siswa yaitu 80% (efektif) dan persentase dari angket respon positif siswa yaitu 91,9% (efektif)

    ADHD merupakan jenis ketidakmampuan belajar yang menyebabkan orang tersebut menjadi kurang fokus dan mudah terganggu yang dicirikan dengan impulsivitas, gangguan perhatian, serta hiperaktivitas yang tidak sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan. Anak yang memiliki keterbatasan membutuhkan assistive technology atau teknologi pendukung dalam meningkatkan produktifitasnya. Game based learning adalah salah satu media pembelajaran kreatif yang dapat menarik motivasi pengguna khususnya anak-anak. Pada penelitian ini membahas tentang pembuatan game based learning sebagai teknologi pendukung untuk mingkatkan fokus pada anak ADHD. Game based learning yang akan dibangun bertujuan untuk menggantikan peran dokter atau therapist yang hanya bisa melatih anak ADHD di tempat terapi. Aplikasi game based learning yang dibangun adalah mobile web application menggunakan teknologi HTML5 dan javascript dengan menggunakan metode agile development. Terdapat 3 permainan di dalam ADHIKIDS yaitu matching card, spot the different, dan word search. Game ini ditujukan pada anak usia 7-12 tahun dan dibutuhkan bantuan pendamping dalam memainkannya

    THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEARNING DEVICE BASED CONTEXTUAL TEACHING LEARNING (CTL) ASSISTED AUTOGRAPH TO IMPROVE THE ABILITY OF PROBLEM SOLVING MATHEMATICS CLASS X SMA NEGERI 1 TELUKDALAM

    This research study aims to describe: 1) Validity learning devices CTL based with autograph aid; 2) practicality learning devices CTL with autograph aid; 3) effectiveness learning devices CTL with autograph aid; 4) increase problem solving skills by problem based learning model developed. This research is a research development (research and development). The development of CTL based learning used 4-D model which include define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of the defining phase is used to design a learning instruments. Then this draft is validated and teste in classroom to see its practically and effectiveness. The tes is done in class X SMA Negeri 1 Telukdalam. This research used students in class XIA1 and XIA2. From this development obtained that; (1) learning instruments developed is valid criteria with the average validity total of lesson plan = 4.506, Student’s Book = 4.687, worksheet = 4.412. Test problem-solving abilities in valid categories with reliability of 0.87; 2) Learning intruments satisfy practice criteria based on (a) assessment of teachers' ability to implement excellent category learning; (b) assessment of students' ability to follow excellent category learning; 3) learning instruments is effective based on the results of student’s mathematical problem-solving skills tests meet the classical completeness, the achievement of the ideal percentage of time, and the results of questionnaire responses of students, 4) the increasing of problem solving skills of student’s from first to second test was 0.37 points with the classical learning completeness increase by 37,5%.     Development of Learning Materials Through RME Assisted by Geogebra Software to Improve Students Problem Solving ability

    The aim of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of learning materials through Realistic Mathematics Education Assisted by Geogebra Software (PBRME-G), as well as improving students’ mathematic problem solving ability. Learning materials developed were lesson plan, student book, student worksheet and mathematic problem solving ability test instrument. This research is a development research using the development model of Thiagarajan 4-D model. Learning materials that have met valid criteria according to experts, were tested in class X  of SMK Swasta Harapan Mekar 1 Medan. The results of the analysis of the data obtained indicate that learning materials based on PBRME-G met the criteria of effectiveness and can improve mathematic problem solving ability. Based on the results of the study, it was suggested that mathematics teachers make an effort mathematic learning using learning materials based PBRME-G.     Analisis konten kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think pair share  ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Penelitian ini dilaksankan di Digital Library Universitas Negeri Medan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, dengan Jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan analisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa melalui model kooperatif tipe TPS. Data hasil penelitian ini dihasilkan dari data sekunder atau diperoleh dari penelitian terdahulu, sumber data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dari delapan jurnal dengan jenis jurnal eksperimen semu. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan yaitu mengumpulkan data yang ada, menganalisa data-data dan melakukan penarikan kesimpulan. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis konten (isi) dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian melalui analisis terhadap jurnal eksperimen semu, diperoleh bahwa pembelajaran TPS memiliki pengaruh dalam peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa dan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share ini sangat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan proses pembelajaran dikelas dan sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar dalam peningkatan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa SMP

    Differences in Mathematical Connection and Conceptual Understanding Ability Between Students Taught by Using Problem-Based Learning and Direct Learning Model in SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Barat

    This study aims to determine: (1) whether the mathematical connection ability of students in the application of problem-based learning is higher than direct learning, (2) whether the conceptual understanding ability of students in the application of problem-based learning is higher than direct learning, (3) active activities of students during the implementation of problem-based learning, (4) the level of ability of teachers to manage classes in the application of problem-based learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The population of this study is all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Bilah Barat which consists of 4 parallel classes, while the sample in this study taken two classes of population. Inferential analysis of data is done by ANACOVA  test. The results of this study indicate that: 1) students' mathematical connection ability in the application of problem-based learning is higher than direct learning. 2) students’ conceptual understanding ability in the application of problem-based learning is higher than direct learning. 3) the level of student's active activity during the application of problem-based learning meets ideal time tolerance, 4) the ability of the teacher to manage learning during problem-based learning gets into the criteria good enough.     This study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective Geogebra-assisted STAD model-based learning tool to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This development research uses a 4D development model with the target target or research subject is student class X MAN 1 Deli Serdang. The data analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative data analysis and t-test. The results of the study concluded that: (1) the learning tool based on the Geogebra-assisted STAD model that was developed was declared valid (feasible), practical and effective to be used in mathematics learning material on two-variable linear equation system in class X MAN 1 Deli Serdang.     Development of Learning Devices Based on Realistic Mathematics Education to Improve Students’ Critical Thinking Ability at MAN 1 Tanjung Pura

    This study aims to: 1) develop the learning devices based on RME that meet the valid, practically, and effective criteria; 2) improvement of critical thinking ability of senior high school students by using learning devices based on RME developed. The type of this research is a development research. The development model used is Four-D Model which consists of 4 stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results of the study show that: 1) the learning devices based on RME developed meet the valid criteria, both in the content validity and construct validity; 2) the learning devices based on RME developed meet the practical criteria, practically in terms of: a) validator assessment about ease of use of learning device, and b) implementation of learning devices. 3) the learning devices based on RME developed meet the effective criteria, effectiveness in terms of: a) students' learning mastery in a classical way; b) achievement of learning objectives; c) learning time; and d) students' positive responses; 3) An increased in students' critical thinking ability by using learning devices based on RME.     Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share dengan siswa yang diajar melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Students Teams Achievement Division, (2) perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share dengan siswa yang diajar melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Students Teams Achievement Division, (3) interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal matematika siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan komunikasi matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI jurusan TBSM dan sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih secara acak, kelas yang terpilih adalah kelas XI TBSM 1 dan XI TBSM 2 sebagai kelas eksperimen masing-masing berjumlah 26 siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan ANAVA dua jalur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share dengan siswa yang diajar melalui model pembelajaran tipe Students Teams Achievement Division, (2) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang diajar melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think-Pair-Share dengan siswa yang diajar melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Students Teams Achievement Division, (3) tidak terdapat interaksi antara pembelajaran dan kemampuan awal matematika siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan komunikasi matematis siswa
