Spin chains and classical strings in rotating Rindler-AdS space
In this paper, we study the spin chain and string excitation in the rotating
Rindler- proposed in [12]. We obtain a one-parameter deformed
spin chain at the fast spin limit. Two-spin GKP-like solutions are studied at
short and long string limits. General ansatz for the giant magnons and the
spiky strings are analyzed in detail for various . At last, we explore
its counterpart in analytic continuation and pp-wave limit.Comment: 23pp, 8 figure
Proton fraction in neutron stars
The proton fraction in {\sl \beta}-stable neutron stars is investigated
within the framework of the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock theory using the extended
Skyrme effective interaction for the first time. The calculated results show
that the proton fraction disappears at high density, which implies that the
pure neutron matter may exist in the interior of neutron stars. The
incompressibility of the nuclear equation of state is shown to be more
important to determine the proton fraction. Meanwhile, it is indicated that the
addition of muons in neutron stars will change the proton fraction. It is also
found that the higher-order terms of the nuclear symmetry energy have obvious
effects on the proton fraction and the parabolic law of the nuclear symmetry
energy is not enough to determine the proton fraction.Comment: 4 Pgaes in REVTex, 2 Figures, 1 Tabl
Pvt measurements on fluoroform : second and third virial coefficients from 200ā°c to 350ā°c and compressibility factors to 150 atmospheres
viii, 139 pages ; illustrationsThe Burnett method was employed to study the volumetric behavior of fluoroform gas from 200 to 350Ā°C at pressure up to 150 atmospheres. An estimate of the assignable measurement errors indicate the data should be accurate to 5 part in 10,000. A nonlinear regression analysis method was used to evaluate the second and the third virial coefficients of fluoroform gas. This data analysis method considers both the dependent and the independent variables are subject to error and eliminates the need for prior knowledge of the run constant and the apparatus constant to evaluate the second and the third virial coefficients of the gas. The parameters of Benedict- Webb-Rubin equation of state were evaluated by using the experimental Burnett p-v-T measurements. The Benedict- Webb-Rubin equation of state represents the data within the experimental error of the measurements.Storvick, Truman S
Rectangular Maze Construction by Combining Algorithms and Designed Graph Patterns
Rectangular digital mazes can beconstructed by algorithms automatically. However, visualaesthetics such as the shapes and structures of mazescanāt be created gracefully due to the mechaniccharacteristics of algorithms. This study proposed amethod to combine the maze generation algorithm andthe graph patterns designed by designers, in order tomake mazes can be constructed not only automaticallybut also creatively
