The application of «mind mapping» method while teaching foreign students the subject of biology

The difficulties for foreigners when they studying biology are a low level of knowledge of the language, and huge amount of information, and the lack of ability to systematize and highlight the main issues. To better achieve the result and activate the perception of information, we offer to concept of "Mind Mapping" where we group information with semantic colures, drawings, standard schemes and highlight the main connections of the concept with all its characteristic features, functions, and relationships with other scientific concepts. Instead of cramming the "Mind Mapping" method offers the material in a convenient form of logical and associative schemes, highlight the main and secondary terms, and help you remember the material more easily.Сложности, с которыми встречаются иностранцы при изучении биологии, — это низкий уровень знания языка, огромный объем информации, отсутствие умения систематизировать и выделять главные мысли. В статье рассмотрены проблемы обучения иностранных слушателей подготовительных курсов по биологии в Уральском государственном медицинском университете с учетом этнопсихологических характеристик и низким уровнем владения русским языком. Creation of bionic prosthesis based on a sensor of muscle activity

A computerized model of the anatomical "three-dimensional structures" of various parts of the hand locomotor apparatus was created [5]. The model was constructed using the Cura program based on computed tomography data [2]. With the help of an analytical calculation, you can choose the optimal system of rotation of the servo drives, which is further used for numerical calculations [4]. Numerical analysis of the maximum and minimum values of muscle activity helps to determine the value of x, which is the bridge between the compression and release of the phalanx models. Numerical analysis was carried out on the basis of the Arduino IDE calculation complex. Analysis of the results made it possible to identify the zones of maximum values of the modulus of the displacement vector and equivalent stresses. Equivalent voltages are concentrated on the contact area of the servo drive and the electric current. The values of the modulus of the displacement vector coincided with the values obtained during the analytical solution.Была создана компьютеризированная модель анатомических «трехмерных структур» различных частей двигательного аппарата руки [5]. Модель построена с помощью программы Cura на основе данных компьютерной томографии [2]. С помощью аналитического расчета можно выбрать оптимальную систему вращения сервоприводов, которая в дальнейшем используется для численных расчетов [4]. Численный анализ максимальных и минимальных значений активности мышц помогает определить значение x, которое является мостом между сжатием и разжатием моделей фаланг пальцев. Численный анализ произведен на базе расчетного комплекса Arduino IDE. Анализ результатов позволил выявить зоны максимальных значений модуля вектора перемещений и эквивалентных напряжений. Эквивалентные напряжения концентрируются на зоне контакта сервопривода и электротока. Значения модуля вектора перемещений совпали со значениями, полученными в ходе аналитического решения

Experience of foundation programm of biology courses for foreign applicants in the form of distance learning

Russia's accession to the Bologna process in September 2003 created the need to integrate the Russian Higher School into European education, so for several years now the promotion of mobility of foreign students at the Ural State Medical University has been intensifying. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Foundation Programme in 2020 were converted to distance learning. The on-line education of foreign students is based on a carefully methodically planned course of preparation for exams in biology. The proposed on-line training system made it possible to complete part of the course at a pace convenient for students. All blocks of materials are collected for a specific small group of students from local and remote Internet resources, optimization of the sequence of test forms and the speed of their presentation to students is carried out to increase the effectiveness of training, identify gaps in knowledge and restructuring the learning strategy.Присоединение России к Болонскому процессу в сентябре 2003 года создало необходимость интеграции российской высшей школы в европейское образование, поэтому вот уже несколько лет усиливается промоция мобильности иностранных студентов в Уральском государственном медицинском университете. Из-за пандемии по COVID-19, учебные занятия в 2020 году были переведены в формат дистанционного обучения. В основу online обучения иностранных абитуриентов положен тщательно методически спланированный курс подготовки к экзаменам по биологии, что дает возможность прохождения части курса в удобном для слушателей темпе и обеспечивает адаптивное обучение (все блоки материалов собираются для конкретной малой группы студентов из локальных и удаленных интернет-ресурсов, проводится оптимизация последовательности тестовых форм и скорости их предъявления студентам для увеличения эффективности обучения, выявления пробелов в знаниях и перестройки стратегии обучения)
