On the Theory of Quantum Oscillations of the Elastic Moduli in Layered Conductors
In this paper we study theoretically how the local geometry of the Fermi
surface (FS) of a layered conductor can affect quantum oscillations in the
thermodynamic observables. We introduce a concrete model of the FS of a layered
conductor. The model permits us to analyze the characteristic features of
quantum oscillatory phenomena in these materials which occure due to local
anomalies of the Gaussian curvature of the FS. Our analysis takes into account
strong interaction among quasiparticles and we study the effect of this
interaction within the framework of Fermi-liquid theory. We show that the
Fermi-liquid interaction strongly affects the density of states of
quasiparticles (DOS) on the FS. As a result DOS can have singularities near the
peaks of its oscillations in a strong magnetic field. These singularities can
be significantly strengthened when the FS of the layered conductor is locally
flattened. This can lead to magnetic and lattice instabilities of a special

Reproductive ability of cows of domestic dairy breeds with different allelic variants of the leptin gene
Conducting genetic studies of domestic local breeds of cattle is relevant due to the fact that they are carriers of valuable economic traits and have a high adaptive ability to local conditions. The aim of the research is to study the association of polymorphic variants of the leptin gene with the reproductive ability of cattle of the Kostroma, Black-and-White and Yaroslavl breeds bred in the Kostroma region. Genotyping was performed by real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) using HRM analysis. It was found that in the Kostroma and Yaroslavl breeds, the AV genotype (0.546 and 0.452, respectively) had the highest frequency for the LEP-A80V locus, and the AA genotype (0.550) in the Black-and-White breed. In terms of polymorphism Y7F of the leptin gene, the YY genotype prevailed among animals of all the studied breeds of cows. For the LEP-R25C locus, the highest frequency of occurrence was recorded in individuals with the RC genotype (0.486), while in cattle of the Yaroslavl and Black-and-White breeds, the RR genotype (0.690 and 0.483, respectively). However, no statistically significant differences were found in terms of reproductive ability between cows of different genotypes for the leptin gene. There is reason to believe that in cattle of the Kostroma breed the desired genotype is AV, in Yaroslavl cattle it is AA (LEP-A80V), and in Black-and-White cattle it is RR (LEP-R25C). The observed tendencies towards the presence of higher reproductive qualities in the carriers of the LEP-A80VA and LEP-R25CR alleles in the studied cattle breeds are confirmed by the studies of other authors. Therefore, the study of the effect of leptin gene polymorphism on the reproductive abilities of cows of domestic dairy breeds must be continued with the involvement of a significantly larger number of animals

Comparative characteristics of vascularization hepatocellular carcinoma and focal nodular hyperplasia of the liver
We made a comparative analysis of the degree of vascularization of tissues of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and focal nodular hyperplasia of the liver. On immunohistochemical specimens (with antibodies CD34 and CD105) were determined the number and the total area of the section of the sinusoids and was calculated index of tissue vascularization by morphometric methods. It was established greater number of vessels and the area of their section is in the larger FNH. Increasing the degree of malignancy of HCC accompanied by changes in its vascularization. TO THE SELECTION OF BONE CAVITY FILLING MATERIAL FOR PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC OSTEOMYELITIS
The research covered 83 patients with chronic osteomyelitis, 55 patients underwent the original operation of single stage sequestrectomy and grafting the residual bone cavity with fine-grain titanium nickelide. This method of treatment has demonstrated its effectiveness in the early rehabilitation period, as well as in the observation in a remote period of time. Clinical effects were characterized by the absence of relapses of chronic osteomyelitis in 94.6 % of patients during the follow-up period. The simulating effect of titanium nickelide in the formation of trabecular bone tissue was experimentally based on 20 animals (dogs). Thus, clinic-experimental research showed that porous titanium nickelide is a perspective material and can be used for different skeletal pathologies. Using it as bone cavity filling in the experiment resulted in an accelerated (3 months earlier) formation of bone organotypic regenerate. The use of bio-compatible fine-grain titanium nickelide contributes into rapid and efficient completion of inflammation process in bone tissue, simplifies the methodology, reduces the time of operation and the time of rehabilitation period and, as a result, increases the efficiency of treating patients with chronic osteomyelitis

Background. A number of studies have associated aggravation of cognitive impairment, anxiety and depression in pregnant women with anesthesia. In addition, obesity during pregnancy itself is associated with an increased risk of developing these complications.The objective was to study the effect of obesity on cognitive function, anxiety and depression in pregnant women during regional anesthesia.Materials and methods. The study included 70 pregnant women who were admitted for planned delivery. Patients were divided into two groups: obese pregnant women (BMIβ₯ 30) (n = 35) and pregnant women with normal weight (BMI < 30) (n = 35). All patients underwent surgery under spinal anesthesia. The indicators of cognitive function, anxiety, and depression were evaluated using specially selected tests before surgery and on the third day of the postoperative period.Results. The development of obesity during pregnancy was accompanied by an impairment of cognitive functions. After surgery, in the BMIβ₯ 30 group, cognitive function according to the MOS test decreased from 25.1 (25.9; 24.2) to 24.3 (25.2; 23.4) points (p = 0.004), and in the BMI < 30 group, there were no statistical differences β 26.3 (27.1; 25,5) and 25.6 (26.5; 24.7) points (p = 0.071). In addition, the baseline indicators of anxiety and depression in obese pregnant women were higher in comparison with pregnant women with normal weight (p < 0.001). Performing a cesarean section under spinal anesthesia in all patients led to a decrease in anxiety and an increase in depression in the BMIβ₯ 30 group from 7.2 (8.1; 6.7) to 6.9 (7.5; 6.3) points (p = 0.004), and in the BMI < 30 group β from 6.5 (6.8; 6.2) to 6.1 (6.5; 5.7) points (p = 0.038).Conclusion. The presence of obesity during pregnancy was revealed in combination with impairment of cognitive functions even before surgery, after delivery under spinal anesthesia, cognitive dysfunction increased.ΠΠΊΡΡΠ»ΡΠ½ΠΎΡΡΡ.
