Design Approach to Implementation Of Arbitration Algorithm In Shared Bus Architectures (MPSoC)
The multiprocessor SoC designs have more than one processor and huge memory on the same chip. SoC consists of hardware cores and software cores ,multiple processors, embedded DRAM and connectors between cores .A wide range of MPSOC architectures have been developed over the past decade. This paper surveys the history of various On-Chip communication architectures present in the design of MPSoC. This acts as a primary factor of overall performance in complex SoC designs. Some of the various techniques that have driven the design of MpSoC has been discussed. Dynamically configurable communication architectures are found to improve the system performance. Currently On-chip interconnection networks are mostly implemented using shared buses which are the most common medium. The arbitration plays a crucial role in determining performance of bus-based system, as it assigns priorities, with which processor is granted the access to the shared communication resources. In the conventional arbitration algorithms there are some drawbacks such as bus starvation problem and low system performance. The bus should provide each component a flexible and utmost share of on-chip communication bandwidth and should improve the latency in access of the shared bus. The performance of SoC is improved using the probabilistic round robin algorithm with regard to the parameters, latency. Thus in this paper various issues related to bus arbitration related to design of MPSoC is analysed
Consumers’ Perception on Online Shopping
E-commerce is emerging as a great level given that organized retail is still not ubiquitous across the length and breadth of the country with large retail chains making up less than 10% of the market.E-commerce is helping people in smaller towns in India access quality products and services similar to what people in the larger cities have access to. It being forecast that close to 60% of online shoppers would come from beyond the top eight large cities by end of this year.Increasing internet penetration has helped to expand the potential customer pool. Internet penetration is only about 10% (or about 121 million users) as against about 81% in the US and 36% in China. However this number continues to rise at a consistent pace because of falling prices for broadband connections. The first World Wide Web server and browser, created by Tim Berners-Lee in 1990, opened for commercial use in 1991. Thereafter, subsequent technological innovations emerged in 1994: online banking, the opening of an online pizza shop by Pizza Hut, Netscape's SSL v2 encryption standard for secure data transfer, and inter-shop’s first online shopping system. Immediately after, Amazon.com launched its online shopping site in 1995 and eBay was introduced in 1996. In the past decade, there has been a dramatic change in the way consumers have altered their way of shopping. Although consumers continue to purchase from a physical store, consumers feel very convenient to shop online since it frees the customer from personally visiting the store. Internet shopping has its own advantages and it reduces the effort of travelling to a physical store. Decisions can be made from home at ease looking at various choices and prices can be easily compared with the competitor’s products to arrive at a decision. This study highlights student’s attitude towards online shopping and their product preference on online shopping. This enable the e-retailers to support their online customer better by developing suitable marketing strategy in order to attract and convert potential customer as an active customers by encouraging them in an efficient way to make a purchase decision. Ritual Food Patterns of Padukhar People
The healthy life of the people of the ethnic group is based on their food culture. Amma people have been living by gathering and consuming their food mostly from nature. In that way, the food of the Padukarina people living in the Nilgiris is not only natural but also mixed with life rituals. Their diet is the main reason for achieving physical benefits from the rituals performed by these people. This article aims to present this concept
Pro- and anti-inflammatory cytokines in threatened miscarriages
OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to evaluate circulating and intracellular levels of Th1 and Th2 cytokines in women with threatenedmiscarriage (TM) and subsequent outcome.
STUDY DESIGN: Plasma levels of tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-receptors 1 and 2, TNF , interferon gamma (IFN ), and interleukins (IL) -6 and -10 were measured by flow cytometric bead assays in 80 women with TM: 53 women with normal outcome and 27 women who miscarried. Fluorescent antibody labeling was also performed on whole blood in a subgroup of 27 women of TM: 16 women with normal outcome and 11 women who miscarried.
RESULTS: Monocyte expression of TNF and circulating levels of TNF , IFN , IL-10, IL-6, and TNF-R1 were significantly lower, whereas circulating levels of TNF /IL-10, IFN /IL-10, and TNF /IL-6 ratios were significantly higher, in women with TM who subsequently miscarried, compared with the women with normal outcome.
CONCLUSION: An increased Th1 type of immune response, which was similar to that observed in preterm delivery, was found in TM cases that were complicated by a subsequent miscarriage.peer-reviewe
Food of Jain and Buddhist monks at Sambandar Thevaram-From a social and historical perspective
From the beginning of life till today, food occupies the first place among the basic needs of all living organisms. Hunger is a common emotion. Food is the medicine invented by man to alleviate the disease of hunger. This can be said to be "food is medicine". Generally, the food habits of the people of a land are based on the land they live in. In this context, if we take the case of Tamil Nadu, during the Sangam Age, the people who lived in harmony with nature, divided the land into five types, formulated disciplines accordingly and mentioned food as one of the themes of the five types of lands. With the advent of Jains and Buddhists, 'non-killing' was practised and the custom of eating vegetables became a favorite in the life of the people who enjoyed eating meat and toddy. The history of human beings shows that their food habits have changed from time to time. The social history of the people can also be known from their food. This study will look at the food and eating style of Jain and Buddhist monks through the Jain and Buddhist ideas found in the Thevaram Pathigams of Thirugnana Sambandar, the foremost leader of the Bhakti movement

Internet marketing is conceptually different from other marketing channels and internet promotes a one to one communication between the seller and the end user with round the clock customer service. Today, business internet marketing is the fastest growing segment of online commerce. The major difference between traditional and online selling is the extent of interaction between the consumer and the seller. There is much more electronic interactivity with the consumer in the form of emails and FAQs. Through FAQs, the consumer's questions on shipment, payment, product, policies and other customer concerns can be addressed effectively
IMPLEMENTATION OF REUSE IN THE AGILE SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS SCRUM
The concept of reuse is applied in one of the agile development methodologies called the scrum. Sprint is a single functionality and the result at the end of the sprint functionality is derived as the shippable or bugs. This paper makes an attempt to use the concept of reuse in the agile software development to meet the dynamic change of customer requirements in banks. A banking project is created using both waterfall model and scrum model, and the knowledge gained is stored in the ontology-based repository for the first time. Again, the same project is created for different vendors using the ontology-based repository. The result shows that maximum sprint is reused and all the knowledge gained is stored in the form of ontology. This ontology helps identify the shippable component of each sprint which is a small executable functionality. This leads to less cost and time to deliver the product. The main aim is to increase the availability of the reusable artifacts, which lead to increase the reusability of the developer. The experimental results show improvements in the performance of retrieving the components for the software development.Ă‚Â Ă‚
Pap smear in antepartum women: an opportunity to screen and create awareness
Background: Cervical and breast cancers are the leading malignancies in females in India. Cancer cervix is preventable and treatable if detected at premalignant stage. Pap smear is a recommended screening method for cancer cervix and its precursors. Pap smear screening in antenatal period presents an opportunity to screen for premalignant cervical lesions and genital infections. This study was undertaken to determine the prevalence of abnormal cervical smears and genital infections among antenatal women. Methods: It is a prospective study in which, 200 antenatal mothers at booking visit, were included in the study. Details on their demographic characteristics, obstetric profile, and past history of Pap test were collected. Liquid based cytology was used for the test. The cytological results were reported based on the Bethesda classification system 2001.Results: Among 200 antenatal women 57% were between 21-25 yrs of age and 18% were less than 20 years. 38% of women were less than 20 years of age at the time of beginning of sexual activity. 56% were primi gravida and others were multi gravida. 95.5 % of women were literate. 89% of women were unaware of Pap smear test. Among the 200 Pap smear reports, 23% were normal, 55.5% nonspecific inflammatory changes, 8.5% Candida infection and 13% bacterial vaginosis. None were reported with premalignant changes. Conclusions: In a population where people do not undergo Pap test due to varied reasons, antenatal Pap test not only provides an excellent opportunity to screen and create awareness for further screening, also helps detect genital infections
Comparative Analysis of Contextual Relation Extraction based on Deep Learning Models
Contextual Relation Extraction (CRE) is mainly used for constructing a
knowledge graph with a help of ontology. It performs various tasks such as
semantic search, query answering, and textual entailment. Relation extraction
identifies the entities from raw texts and the relations among them. An
efficient and accurate CRE system is essential for creating domain knowledge in
the biomedical industry. Existing Machine Learning and Natural Language
Processing (NLP) techniques are not suitable to predict complex relations from
sentences that consist of more than two relations and unspecified entities
efficiently. In this work, deep learning techniques have been used to identify
the appropriate semantic relation based on the context from multiple sentences.
Even though various machine learning models have been used for relation
extraction, they provide better results only for binary relations, i.e.,
relations occurred exactly between the two entities in a sentence. Machine
learning models are not suited for complex sentences that consist of the words
that have various meanings. To address these issues, hybrid deep learning
models have been used to extract the relations from complex sentence
effectively. This paper explores the analysis of various deep learning models
that are used for relation extraction.Comment: This Paper Presented in the International Conference on FOSS
