Object. Experimental studies of technological parameters of process waste water purification and identification of the most effective technological scheme selection of organic pollution from wastewater. Design, methodology, approach. For the study of pervaporation process was used experimental unit that allows varying removal methods vapors of organic substances, hydrodynamic and temperature regimes. In the experimental unit had been dune the series of experiments of the temperature effect to the purification degree of wastewater from the organic impurities. Then had been dune series of experiments for determined the concentration of organic pollutants in a model liquid that after pervaporation was arrived to the "sorption" apparatus for the addition purification. Conclusions. It was found that purification process intensifies with increase the temperature of the model liquid applying to separation. Also the combination of pervaporation at different temperature regimes with sorption membrane elements was using, which gives greatly improving efficiency of purification of the model liquid of organic component. Research novelty / importance. Had been developed hybrid scheme of water purification which is based on a combination pervaporation with sorption membrane elements. The research has shown the feasibility of using of the hybrid schemes for wastewater treatment.В последнее время мембранные процессы разделения смесей показали свою высокую эффективность в различных отраслях промышленности. Knockdown of ZNF268, which Is Transcriptionally Downregulated by GATA-1, Promotes Proliferation of K562 Cells

The human ZNF268 gene encodes a typical KRAB-C2H2 zinc finger protein that may participate in hematopoiesis and leukemogenesis. A recent microarray study revealed that ZNF268 expression continuously decreases during erythropoiesis. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying regulation of ZNF268 during hematopoiesis are not well understood. Here we found that GATA-1, a master regulator of erythropoiesis, repressed the promoter activity and transcription of ZNF268. Electrophoretic mobility shift assays and chromatin immunoprecipitation assays showed that GATA-1 directly bound to a GATA binding site in the ZNF268 promoter in vitro and in vivo. Knockdown of ZNF268 in K562 erythroleukemia cells with specific siRNA accelerated cellular proliferation, suppressed apoptosis, and reduced expression of erythroid-specific developmental markers. It also promoted growth of subcutaneous K562-derived tumors in nude mice. These results suggest that ZNF268 is a crucial downstream target and effector of GATA-1. They also suggest the downregulation of ZNF268 by GATA-1 is important in promoting the growth and suppressing the differentiation of K562 erythroleukemia cells

    General homomorphic overloading

A general homomorphic overloading in a first-order type system is discussed and its attendant subtype inference problem is formulated. We propose a computationally efficient type inference algorithm by converting the attendant constraint-satisfaction problem into the algebraic path problem for a constraint graph weighted with elements of a specially constructed non-commutative star semiring. The elements of the semiring are monotonic functions from integers to integers (including ±∞) with pointwise maximum and function composition as semiring operations. The computational efficiency of our method is due to Kleene’s algebraic path method’s cubic complexit

Modes Detection of Color Histogram and Merging Algorithm by Mode Adjacency Graph Analysis for Color Image Segmentation

International audienceIn this work we present an approach for color image segmentation based on pixel classification. Such methods are based on the assumption that meaningful regions are defined by homogeneous colors and give rise to compact clusters in the color space. Each cluster defined a class of pixels which share similar color properties The construction of the pixel classes is performed by detecting the modes of the color histogram of the image. To identify these modes, mathematical morphology techniques are used. The application of watersheds on the color histogram leads to an over partitioning of the color plane, which can be processed by mode merging algorithms based on mode adjacency graph analysing. Depending the merging criterion we present in this paper two merging algorithms, the first relies on the gravity centers of the modes as a merging criterion, and in the second we introduce a new merging criterion: the spatial-color compactness degree

Image processing of grinding wheel surface

Identifying the situation of grinding wheel wear and loading is a very important issue for high efficiency grinding operations. This paper presents a new method that detects and identifies the chip loading and cutting edge wear of a grinding wheel using the image processing toolbox of MATLAB. The different optical characters of the metal chips and the abrasive grains are analysed. The Sobel operator is adopted to make edge detection. A sensitivity threshold based on the global condition is used to decrease the noise. Image dilation and erosion processes are used to ensure the edge of each loaded chip is covered by a continuous section. The ratios of chips are calculated and displayed to monitor the wheel surface working status
