The Results of Research of Magnetic Fluid Nanoparticles by Microscopy and X-ray Methods

    Get PDF
This is a researching of dispersed, elemental and phase composition of magnetic fluids. Samples of magnetic fluids based on kerosene and vacuum oil are the objects of study. As the researching methods, we used scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy as well as X-ray diffraction. There is a comparative analysis of data from these methods

In the article, on the basis of the concept of "display" of geometry of a free surface of the "low-magnetic" environment by the topography of isolines of the module of intensity of a magnetic field, it is studied a form of a free surface of magnetic fluid in a static condition at the initial stage of rapprochement of a ring magnet with a surface of a column of magnetic fluid in a tube and at a stage of pressing of a cavity to a bottom. It is shown that the separation of bubbles from an air cavity occurs in close proximity to the plane of symmetry of a ring magnet on its axis. It is described the method and experimental installation for studying the possibility of electromagnetic indication of sizes of the air bubbles, being in magnetic fluid. It is discussed the results of experimental research on process of a separation of solitary air bubble from a cavity, contained in magnetic fluid and squeezed by ponderomotive forces of a magnetic field which are of interest for creation of essentially new technique of the dosed supply of small amount of gas in the reactor. Influence of Mass Transfer Processes on Couette Flow of Magnetic Fluid

    Get PDF
This article describes the results of a theoretical study of magnetic fluid two-dimensional Couett flow in magnetic fluid seal model in view of mass transfer processes. It has been shown that very inhomogeneous magnetic field in seal gap lead to magnetic particle concentration rearrangement due to magnetophoresis and Brownian diffusion. In turn, it lead to inhomogeneous magnetic fluid viscosity and change in local and integral shearing force at channel walls. Integral shearing force has been shown to depend on magnetic field and magnetic fluid parameters. Closely-packed fluid density distribution conditions have been defined. Proposed theory covers real magnetic fluid seal performance features adequately. When you are citing the document, use the following link http://essuir.sumdu.edu.ua/handle/123456789/3360

The paper deals with new concepts of biotesting method updating. Modern conductometric technologies and the analysis of microbial «growth curves» are used. The registration occurs in a real time mode for the set of parallel samples. Results are shown for comparison of the proposed impedance biotesting technique with standard cultural determination method for total amount of microorganismes in the tested samples. Results are presented for practical application of the proposed impedance biotesting technique to the analysis as inhibitory action of clorhexidine disinfectant on the vital activity of Escherichia coli, as milk ripening process at the presence of various microorganisms species and protein preparations. The impedance biotesting method, proposed in the present work, provides high level of its own data convergence with the data, being received as a result of application of standard cultural biotesting techniques. Thus, the proposed method has such advantages, as: an opportunity of the detailed information reception about dynamics change of magnitude of population and intensity of test microorganisms metabolism, significant reduction of the culture media amount used, as well as researcher's temporary and labor efforts while the analyses realization, and the growth of analysis objectivity
