    Pengaruh Insentif dan Bonus Per Jam Mengajar terhadap Prestasi Kerja Guru pada Sdn No. 001 Kecamatan Siluq Ngurai

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh insentif dan bonus per jam mengajar terhadap prestasi kerja guru pada SDN 001 Siluq Ngurai.Apakah insentif dan bonus per jam berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja guru pada SDN 001 Siluq Ngurai?Menurut Hani Handoko (2004:56) “Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia adalah bagian dari manajemen. Oleh karena itu, teori-teori manajemen umum menjadi dasar pembahasannya”. Mangkunegara (2006:50) mendefinisikan “Prestasi kerja adalah hasil kerja saecara kualitas dan kuantitas yang dicapai seseorang dalam melaksanakan tugasnya, sesuai dengan tanggung jawab yang diberikan kepadanya”.Hipotesis pada penelitian ini dikemukakan sebagai berikut Insentif dan bonus per jam berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prestasi kerja guru pada SDN 001 Siluq NguraiHubungan antara insentif dan bonus per jam sangat erat dan signifikan. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 72,1% menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan dana Insentif dan biaya bonus per jam cukup kuat mempengaruhi prestasi kerja ditinjau dari nilai rata-rata siswa kelas 4. Faktor lain juga memiliki pengaruh terhadap prestasi, yaitu sebesar 27,9%. Faktor lain yang dimaksud misalnya keadaan ruang mengajar, stress kerja, gaya kepemimpinan, dan lain-lain. Mengingat bahwa prestasi kerja yang mana dalam hal ini adalah nilai rata-rata siswa dipengaruhi oleh banyak variabel.Dari hasil analisis dapat ketahui bahwa hubungan antara bonus per jam dengan prestasi sangat signifikan. Artinya bahwa untuk meningkatkan prestasi diperlukan alokasi dana kepada para guru. Karena bous per jam adalah cara yang paling efektif untuk memberikan semangat pada para guru agar lebih rajin mengajar.     Kannada Character Recognition System A Review

    Intensive research has been done on optical character recognition ocr and a large number of articles have been published on this topic during the last few decades. Many commercial OCR systems are now available in the market, but most of these systems work for Roman, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic characters. There are no sufficient number of works on Indian language character recognition especially Kannada script among 12 major scripts in India. This paper presents a review of existing work on printed Kannada script and their results. The characteristics of Kannada script and Kannada Character Recognition System kcr are discussed in detail.     Penerapan Metode Bermain Peran Untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Dan Prestasi Belajar Pada Materi Berkomunikasi Melalui Telepon

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keaktifan dan prestasi belajar pada materi berkomunikasi melalui telepon pada siswa kelas X Administrasi Perkantoran SMK Negeri 1 Banyudono dengan menerapkan metode Bermain Peran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Bermain Peran dapat meningkatkan keaktifan belajar dan prestasi belajar siswa. Keaktifan siswa pada pratindakan hanya 62,5% dan prestasi siswa rendah yaitu 42,18% siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Peningkatan terjadi pada siklus I. Keaktifan belajar siswa dari pratindakan 62,5% menjadi 68,75%. Prestasi belajar siswa dari pratindakan 42,18% mencapai KKM menjadi 71,87%. Pelaksanaan siklus II keaktifan siswa meningkat sebesar 18,75% dari 68,75% menjadi 87,5% dan prestasi belajar siswa meningkat sebesar 17,13% dari 71,87% menjadi 89% pada siklus II siswa mencapai KKM.. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran bermain peran dapat meningkatkan keaktifan dan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Informasi standar kompetensi menerapkan keterampilan komunikasi lisan melalui telepon

    Cadmium (Cd) is one of non-essensial metals and toxic in low concentration. Cd polution in freshwater ecosystem from the USAge of Cd in many industrial activities can interfere biology system of aquatic animals. Evaluation of heavy metals in freshwater ecosystem can be predicted with accumulation of metals in organism. Mussels are aquatic organism that capable to accumulate metals in their body. The purpose of this research were to study pattern of Cd accumulation in body mussels including mantle, gills, and kidneys. Mussels are exposed to Cd via water (20 µgL-1)for 24 days, followed by 12 days of depuration. On day 0, 1, 6, 12, 18, 24 (exposure time) and day 30, 36 (depuration time), mussels were dissected into mantle, gills, and kidneys. Cd bioaccumulation in all organ was determined by using Atomic Absorbance Spectrophotometer (AAS). The result showed that pattern of Cd bioaccumulation attend to increase in all organs within exposure time and attend to decrease within depuration time.     Connectionist Expert System to Diagnose Neck and Arm Pain

    A connectionist expert system (CES) called BIONET aimed at assisting physicians in the diagnosis of diseases, such as neck and arm pain has been proposed. BIONET is an artificial network or connectionist network model capable of classifying diseases. Need for the development of CES for defence personnel has been discussed: BIONET is a feedforward three layer neural network with one hidden layer. The input, layer has been designated as stimulus layer, the hidden layer as receptor layer and output layer ag cortical layer. The sequential connections with spatial orientation have been maintained between stimulus layer and receptor layer for each specific factor. Parallel connections are established only at the cortical layer. Direct firing and facilitatory and inhibitory mechanisms are adhered to the neurophysiology of human nervous system. An algorithm for training on BIONET is also given. BIONET is simulated on a digital computer with training samples of patients collected from various hospitals in Tamil Nadu to diagnose neck and arm pain,diseases for testing purpose

    Karaikalammaiyar and Andal in Devotional Literature

    Tamil language has a special place in the history of devotional literature. Saiva Nayanmars and Vaishnava Alwars have created Tamil as the 'language of devotion' due to its wealth which they created by combining scriptures. It is no exaggeration to say that devotional literature is the greatest asset of Tamil society. Karaikalammaiyar, one of the sixty-three Nayanmars, was the originator of Saivite devotional literature. She is the one who gained freedom of soul and salvation and brought pride to the female race. Similarly, Andal was one of the Vaishnava Alwars who lived in the tenth century. She is the only woman among the twelve Alwars celebrated in Vaishnava literature. It is said that life is useless in love, and if you want to reach God, you have to give up love. But the piety of Andal is different from the piety of other Alwars. Andal's hymns gave world a new devotion to womanhood. This review article has been written to highlight the innovation of the devotional tradition of Karaikalammaiyar and Andal in the history of Devotional literature
