    This study aimed to describe the educational value of the characters contained in the novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri. The method usedis descriptive method, form of qualitative research. Data collection technigues usung documentary study. Data collection tool used was the researcher as the key instrument. Sources of data in this study is novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri work Suyatna Pamungkas. Based on the analysis of research data found 101 containing the data character education values contained in five main issues: 20 data on the value of character education related to God. 53 data on the value of character education regarding self. 16 data on character education values associated with neighbor. 3 data on the value of character education relating to natoinaliti. 9 data on the value of character education is associated with environmental. The results of this study can be used as teaching materials for teachers to students through literary works such as novels

    The result of the research are (1) the rhymes obtained in the spell of Dayak Kanayatn barapus includes: (a) rhyme which is based on the sound or voice: whole rhyme, absolute rhyme, half rhyme , alliteration rhyme, assonance rhyme, consonant rhyme and dissonance rhyme. (b)rhyme based on its location on the lines: early rhyme, middle rhyme, last rhyme. (c) rhyme based on its similarity of voice or sound in lines: flat rhyme. (d) rhyme based on its pair in verse: continuous rhyme and free rhyme. Based on the analysis result, the most dominant rhyme based on its voice or sound is alliteration rhyme. The most dominant rhyme based on its words location in lines is early rhyme. Meanwhile the most dominant according to its location of pairs in verse is free rhyme. (2) the function contained in barapus spell of Dayak Kanayatn included: (a) social function (b) religious function. (3) the environment where the barapus spell of Dayak Kanayatn were Perused included: (a) materials used, and (b) speel Perusing procession

    This research was motivated by the desire to find and know the style of language in a collection of short stories Kacapiring. The method used is descriptive and the form is qualitative research. The approach used is stylistic approach. Based on the result of data analysis, it generates the following conclusions: 1) style of language based on sentence structure in collection of short story Kacapiring is a style climax 6, anticlimax is 9, paralism is 5, antithesis is 7, and repetition is 21. 2) rhetorical style in collection of short stories Kacapiring is a style alitrasi 12, assonance is 18, anastrof/inversion is 17, asindenton is 14, polisindenton is 3, ellipsis is 4, eufimismus is 6, redundancy and tautology is 3, periphrasis is 5, eritosis or rhetorical question is 38, koreksio is 3, and hyperbole is 13. 3) style of figurative language in collection of short stories Kacapiring is stylistic similarities or simile 28, metaphor is 15, personification is 31, eponymous is 1, sinekdoke is 5, metonymy is 3, and sarcasm is 3

    This study aims to delineate the use of figurative language, the meaning of figurative language, and implementation plans in the figurative language of poetry DCD works Anwar. Method of research is descriptive method qualitative terms with the semiotic approach. Based on the results of data analysts, then the resulting conclusions as follows: 1) The use of figurative language in poetry collection DCD, the metaphor contained in the poem "Sia-sia", the comparison contained in the poem "Penerimaan", the parable epos contained in poem "Kabar dari Laut", the personification contained in the poem "Cintaku Jauh di Pulau”, "Hampa", "Selamat Tinggal", "Sajak Putih", and "Penerimaan", metonymy contained in the poem "Kabar dari Laut" and "Tuti Artic "sinekdoki contained in the poem "Kabar dari Laut", and “Senja di Pelabuhan Kecil", and not in the allegorical poetry collection. 2) The meaning of figurative language in poetry DCD collection consists of icons, indices, and symbols. 3) Plan for implementation in this study contained on Unit Level Curriculum with the SK 5.Listening: understand poetry delivered directly and indirectly and KD to identify the elements of poetry forms submitted directly or through recording

    The aim of this research is to describe the education value of emotional intelligence, social, and being individual in novel Bumi authored by Tere Liye and the implementation of those values in Bahasa Indonesia Learning in the school. Descriptive method is used as the research methodology in this research. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that in novel Bumi authored by Tere Liye found the education values of emotional intelligence, the education value of social, and the education value of being individual. This research is used as learning material in learning Bahasa Indonesia on Literature Appreciation material of the first semester grade twelve Secondary High School, especially in understanding the extrinsic value. The learning is guided by the lesson plan that is suitable with the condition and situation with the school learning environment
