Commodity and Financial Networks in Regional Economics

The article discusses the relationship between commodity-production and financial network structures in the regional economy as dual conjugate systems. Material flows (raw materials, goods and so on) circulate in the commodity network as shown by Leontiev’s input-output balance model. Nonmaterial flows of property rights, money, and so on circulate in the financial network and reflect the movement of material objects in commodity networks. A network structure comprises closed and open circuits, which have fundamentally different characteristics: locally closed circuits meet local demand by supplying locally produced goods, thus ensuring self-reproduction of the local economy; open (or transit) circuits provide export-import flows. The article describes the mechanism of ‘internal’ money generation in closed circuits of commodity-production networks. The results of the theoretical study are illustrated by the calculations of closed and open circuit flows in the municipal economy model. Mutual settlements between the population and manufacturing enterprises are given in matrix form. It was found that the volume of the turnover in closed circuits of the municipal economic network model is about 28.5 % of the total turnover and can be provided by ‘internal’ non-inflationary money. The remaining 71.5 % of the total turnover correspond to the flows in the network’s open circuits providing export and import. The conclusion is made that in the innovation-driven economy, main attention should be given to the projects oriented towards domestic consumption rather than export supplies. The economy is based on internal production cycles in closed circuits. Thus, it is necessary to find the chains in the inter-industrial and inter-production relations which could become the basis of the production cycle. Money investments will complete such commodity chains and ‘launch’ the production cycle. The work has been prepared with the supprot of the Ural Federal University within the UrFU Program for the winners of the competition “Young Scientists of UrFU” No. 2.1.1.1-14/43

Transport properties and polarization phenomena in intercalated AgxHfSe2 compounds

The electrical properties of intercalated AgxHfSe2 compounds (x = 0. 1, 0. 2) have been investigated for the first time. Investigations have been performed using various current electrodes, which make it possible to pass either the electron current or the ion current across the sample. Polarization effects, which indicate the self-consistent migration of charge carriers in the samples, have been found for the samples at room temperature. Based on the characteristic features of polarization decay, coefficients of conjugated chemical diffusion have been evaluated. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd

Specific features of the charge and mass transfer in a silver-intercalated hafnium diselenide

The specific features of the charge transfer in intercalated samples of AgxHfSe2 have been studied for the first time by alternating current (ac) impedance spectroscopy. It has been found that relaxation processes in an ac field are accelerated with increasing silver content in the samples. The complex conductivity (Y) shows a frequency dispersion described by power law Y ∼ ωs, which is characteristic of the hopping conductivity mechanism. The AgxHfSe2 compounds demonstrate shorter relaxation times as compared to those observed in hafnium diselenide intercalated with copper atoms, and this fact indicates that the charge carrier mobility in the silver-intercalated compounds is higher. The possibility of silver ion transfer in AgxHfSe2 is confirmed by the measurements performed by the method of electrochemical cell emf. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd

Pseudobinary Fe4Ti3S8 compound with a NiAs-type structure: Effect of Ti for Fe substitution

The transition metal sulfide Fe4Ti3S8 with 7:8 composition has been synthesized and studied by using X-ray diffraction, magnetization and electrical resistivity measurements. This compound exhibits a monoclinic crystal lattice (space group I12/m1). The substitution of Ti for Fe in Fe7S8 is found to result in a lowering of the Curie temperature (TC ≈ 205 K), in a larger value of the coercive field (Hc ∼ 9 kOe at low temperatures) and in a substantial growth of the resultant magnetic moment per formula unit (μFU) in comparison with Fe7S8. An enhanced value of μFU is attributed to the preferential substitution of Ti in alternating cation layers. From the paramagnetic susceptibility measured within temperature interval (250-350) K, a reduced value of the effective moment per iron (μFe ∼ 2.4μB) was determined. The electrical resistivity of Fe4Ti3S8 shows a non-metallic behavior and is affected by magnetic ordering. © 2013 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved

The influence of liquid on the deformation behavior of human dentin

The influence of liquid on the mechanical properties of human dentin under uniaxial compression is studied in this work. It has been shown that the storage of samples for 24 h in water, acetone, and glycerin does not lead to a change in the microstructure or to qualitative changes in the mechanical behavior of dentin, which continues to be highly elastic; capable of considerable plastic deformation; and a strong, hard tissue. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd

Библейские образы в апокрифической литературе (на примере апокрифа „Хождение Агапия в рай”)

The authors analyze the biblical images that are used in the Apocrypha The Journey of Agapius to Paradise. Apocrypha is a genre that is, as it were, on the periphery of religious discourse. This is due to the fact that they do not perform the actual liturgical functions, and, despite their religious content, belong to non-canonical works that the Church does not recognize as Sacred. Therefore, the Apocrypha is not included in the register and is not considered a rule of faith and piety for believers, like the texts of the Old and New Testaments. The authors use an allegorical way of interpreting the text. It allows revealing the symbolic meaning of the biblical images in the Apocrypha. Biblical images are an important component of religious discourse. Religious values, values of faith are transmitted through them in a direct or veiled form. The main idea of the gospel transmitted through the imagery and specific language-understanding life’s journey as the path to the Kingdom of heaven, which lies over either the monastery or through the desert, through many feats of restraint of the flesh. This formed the idea of asceticism as a form of rejection of earthly reality with its orders, temptations and delusions. The architectonics of the work is formed by the chronotope of the road. On the road the paths of different characters cross. The motive of the meeting plays a leading role in religious discourse.  The Apocrypha The Journey of Agapius to Paradise is based on the seven meetings of Agapius, which are the organizational centers of the main events. The motive of the meeting intersects with the motive of the Epiphany in different guises: during the journey Agapius encounters on his way an eagle, a child, 12 Apostles, the Lord, prophet Elijah. Due to these images, the metaphorization of the way-road is filled with a new meaning (“the road to God”, “the road to Paradise”, “the path of spiritual transformation”) and its chronotopic value is expanded

The influence of the industrial complex on the atmospheric air in the Sverdlovsk region

The work is dedicated to studying the level dynamics of polluting substances emissions into the atmosphere of Yekaterinburg city and the Sverdlovsk region in the period of 2012-2016. In the process of our work we found out an insignificant reduction of main indicators values such as SI, HR, and IPA to estimate the atmospheric air quality. Nevertheless, the level of the air pollution in Yekaterinburg city remained high in the stated period. We also suggested some methods to reduce enterprises emissions in the article, which will lead to improving the air quality. In the result of our work it was established that the main pollutants are suspended particles, nitrogen dioxides, phenol, and benzene. Moreover, the connection between the atmospheric air pollution degree and the Sverdlovsk region population's health was determined. © 2018 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved

Compounds FexTi2S4 (1 ≤ x ≤ 1.5) were obtained and studied by means of X-ray diffrac-tion, magnetization and magnetoresistance measurements. The results are discussed under the assumption that the mixing of Fe and Ti plays a significant role in changing the properties with increasing iron content. The work has been supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation under project FEUZ-2020-0054
