Clientele Perceptions of the University of the Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service Livestock Program
The purpose of the study reported here was to assess the level of satisfaction/perceptions of University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service livestock clientele. The conclusions indicated: (1) traditional producers had a higher level of satisfaction than non-traditional producers, (2) clientele did not perceive a difference in single-county or multi-county programming, (3) the program was beneficial, and (4) opportunity exists to increase clientele. The recommendations were: (1) maintain present educational course, but also seek other programming avenues, (2) assess perceptions of non-user clientele, (3) increase the information available to non-traditional producers, and (4) increase awareness of educational opportunities
Magnetic Interactions, the Renormalization Group and Color Superconductivity in High Density QCD
We investigate the effect of long range magnetic interactions on the
renormalization group (RG) evolution of local Cooper pairing interactions near
the Fermi surface in high density QCD. We use an explicit cut-off on momentum
modes, with special emphasis on screening effects such as Landau damping, to
derive the RG equations in a gauge invariant, weak coupling expansion. We
obtain the Landau pole , although the structure of our equations differs from previous results. We
also investigate the gap equation, including condensates of higher angular
momentum. We show that rotational invariance is unbroken at asymptotically high
density, and verify that is the correct value of the gap when higher
modes are included in the analysis.Comment: 17 pages, 3 figures, late
The sources and characteristics of electronic evidence and artificial intelligence
In this updated edition of the well-established practitioner text, Stephen Mason and Daniel Seng have brought together a team of experts in the field to provide an exhaustive treatment of electronic evidence and electronic signatures. This fifth edition continues to follow the tradition in English evidence text books by basing the text on the law of England and Wales, with appropriate citations of relevant case law and legislation from other jurisdictions
Qualification of Laser Diode Arrays for Mercury Laser Altimeter
NASA's requirements for high reliability, high performance satellite laser instruments have driven the investigation of many critical components; specifically, 808 nm laser diode array (LDA) pump devices. Performance of Quasi-CW, High-power, laser diode arrays under extended use is presented. We report the optical power over several hundred million pulse operation and the effect of power cycling and temperature cycling of the laser diode arrays. Data on the initial characterization of the devices is also presented
