    This paper proposes a new approach to style analysis by utilizing a general state space model and Monte Carlo filter. In particular,We regard coefficients of style indices as state variables in the state space model and apply Monte Carlo filter as estimation method. Moreover, an empirical analysis using actual funds' data confirms the validity of our approach.

    Electrical impedance myography (EIM) is an evaluation technique for skeletal muscles that uses electrical impedance technology. Recent reviews have shown that EIM is useful as a method to assess changes in skeletal muscle quality and quantity with aging. These may be utilized for functional changes in inflammatory skeletal muscles, such as disease and operation. In this report, the impedance parameters using EIM present perioperative skeletal muscle changes in patients after cardiac surgery. In addition, we will describe the efficacy of EIM in skeletal muscle dysfunction due to inflammation or disease.     Torsion birational motives of surfaces and unramified cohomology

    Let SS and TT be smooth projective varieties over an algebraically closed field. Suppose that SS is a surface admitting a decomposition of the diagonal. We show that, away from the characteristic of kk, if an algebraic correspondence TST \to S acts trivially on the unramified cohomology, then it acts trivially on any normalized, birational, and motivic functor. This generalizes Kahn's result on the torsion order of SS. We also exhibit an example of SS over C\mathbb{C} for which S×SS \times S violates the integral Hodge conjecture.Comment: 25 page
