Implementasi Teknologi Global Position System Dalam Deteksi Posisi Mobil Berbasis Short Message Service

    Broad-band Modeling of GRB Afterglows

Observations of GRB afterglows ranging from radio to X-ray frequencies generate large data sets. Careful analysis of these broad-band data can give us insight into the nature of the GRB progenitor population by yielding such information like the total energy of the burst, the geometry of the fireball and the type of environment into which the GRB explodes. We illustrate, by example, how global, self-consistent fits are a robust approach for characterizing the afterglow emission. This approach allows a relatively simple comparison of different models and a way to determine the strengths and weaknesses of these models, since all are treated self-consistently. Here we quantify the main differences between the broad-band, self-consistent approach and the traditional approach, using GRB000301C and GRB970508 as test cases.Comment: Appears in "Gamma-Ray Bursts in the Afterglow Era" proceedings of the Roma 2000 GRB Workshop; 3 pages; 2 figure

Recovery Among People with Mental Illness (PMI) as Perceived by the Caregivers in Islamic Boarding School (IBS) in Indonesia

Background: Mental hospitals as places to rehabilitation people with mental illness(PMI) in Indonesia are limited in numbers and do not meet with the number of PMI.The society may contribute in facilitating recovery and rehabilitation place for PMI including Islamic boarding school. Some Islamic boarding schools provide rehabilitation for PMI to help with recovery process. Recovery is an important aspect to assess the success of PMI rehabilitation. Nevertheless, there has been no study on Islamic boarding school\u27s caregivers\u27 perception on PMI recovery.Purpose: This study aims to explore recovery perception of caregivers treating PMI in Islamic boarding school and factors affecting recovery. Methods: Data are acquired from 19 caregivers from three Islamic boarding schools providing rehabilitation for PMI with Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The data analyzed using descriptive analysis.Result: Having a good communication is a recovery criterion that is mentioned themost by caregivers. There are three biggest factors affecting recovery based on the caregivers such as prayers or religion followed by social support from family and environment and also doing activities. Conclusion: The results may depict the PMI recovery so that the health care providers can provide interventions that can support the recovery process in PMI

The prompt energy release of gamma-ray bursts using a cosmological k-correction

The fluences of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are measured with a variety of instruments in different detector energy ranges. A detailed comparison of the implied energy releases of the GRB sample requires, then, an accurate accounting of this diversity in fluence measurements which properly corrects for the redshifting of GRB spectra. Here, we develop a methodology to ``k-correct'' the implied prompt energy release of a GRB to a fixed co-moving bandpass. This allows us to homogenize the prompt energy release of 17 cosmological GRBs (using published redshifts, fluences, and spectra) to two common co-moving bandpasses: 20-2000 keV and 0.1 keV-10 MeV (``bolometric''). While the overall distribution of GRB energy releases does not change significantly by using a k-correction, we show that uncorrected energy estimates systematically undercounts the bolometric energy by ~5% to 600%, depending on the particular GRB. We find that the median bolometric isotropic-equivalent prompt energy release is 2.2 x 10^{53} erg with an r.m.s. scatter of 0.80 dex. The typical estimated uncertainty on a given k-corrected energy measurement is ~20%.Comment: Accepted to the Astronomical Journal. 21 pages (LaTeX) and 4 figure

This research is motivated by low yields and social studies teachers do not use a model of learning in learning. The problem in this research is "Is there any application of learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) assisted Media Pictures on learning outcomes, teacher performance and student activity IPS sixth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Bugo Jepara?". This study aims to determine the application of learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) assisted Media Pictures on learning outcomes, teacher performance and student activity IPS sixth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Bugo Jepara. Results showed hypothesis test obtained thitung price 5.862 1.685 ttable thus thitung> ttable or 5.862> 1.685, the then Ho is rejected and H1 accepted or it can be said that the average difference in initial conditions with final conditions significantly. The conclusion was that there is application of learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) assisted Learning Results Media Pictures Against IPS Grade VI Elementary School 1 Bugo Jepara

Perancangan Interior Rumah Makan Khas Medan Dan Kongkow Khas Medan Di Surabaya

Restaurant and kongkow place are a unity when talked about residents from Medan city. These became a problem for those migrants from Medan city in Surabaya city because of the lack of places for kongkow avtivity. So there's needs for a restaurant that also can accomodate kongkow activity. This restaurant applied interior atmosphere that adapted from street atmosphere based from Medan city residents's habit to kongkow outside. This restaurant is espected to become a place for all Medan city migrants in Surabaya city gather up or even introduce Medan city's food to Surabaya city resident

Sustainable Agriculture: Case Study in Barebbo Village, Bone Regency

Ecological sustainability refers to the maintenance of the environmental order on earth so that its sustainability can be maintained. Three aspects must be considered to maintain the integrity of the environmental order, namely; carrying capacity, assimilative capacity and sustainable use of recoverable resources. Environmental development management is essential for ecosystem sustainability. Macroeconomic sustainability guarantees sustainable economic progress and encourages economic efficiency through structural and national reforms. Food security is defined as a condition for the fulfillment of food for households which is reflected in the availability of sufficient food, both in quantity and quality, safe, equitable, and affordable
