    Various Forms Of Teacher Leadership As A Strategy In The Student’s Character Building

    This study examines the leadership of teachers in shaping the character of students in primary schools, the purpose of this study is to formulate on the successful establishment of the characters on the learners’ with strategies of teachers leadership include (1) various forms of teacher leadership, (2) application the values of teacher leadership, and (3) the constraints and effort in the process of shaping the learners’ character. This study used a qualitative approach with case studies of SD Plus Al Kauthar Malang. Key informants were teachers with snowball sampling including the principal, staff, parents of students and learners. Data was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation, then analyzed by three interrelated activities: (1) reducing the data, (2) display data, and (3) verification of the data in order to make conclusions. The result of this study are: (1) the different forms of teacher leadership include parenting, becoming a partner, and role model, (2) the application of the values of teacher leadership done by the habit which became the characteristic of the school culture, (3) the constraints and effort in the process of formation of character learners; obstacles encountered in the form of (a) the diversity of family upbringing, (b) environment, and (c) peers while efforts were made: (a) maximize the extracurricular activities in order to maximize the personality and potential learners, and (b) the establishment of forum keluarga sakinah (FKS), which includes parents of students in the development of school programs. The conclusion of this study is the strategy used by teachers in shaping the character of the students in the form of parenting in a way become a surrogate in school, be a friend and a good example for students. School culture as a means of character building students, while the problems in the school can be minimized with efforts to form a “forum keluarga sakinah”, where parents of students took part in the development of school programs.     IMPLEMENTATION OF HUMANIST LEADERSHIP CASE STUDY IN PRIMARY SCHOOL

    This study examines the implementation type of leadership such as charismatic, paternalistic/materialistic, and democratic leadership in the process of character building for the students in primary school. They have a long-term goal to find the concepts of fit and proper especially for teachers in order to establish the students’ character. This study used a qualitative approach with case studies; with the main informants are the teachers. The research location is deliberately chosen the school based on religion because the writer want to prove whether every teacher in the school are implemented the type of charismatic, paternalistic/materialistic and democratic leadership in the process of learners’ character building. The results of this study are (1) every teachers have the different type of leadership, (2) in the implementation of leadership the teachers adjust the parenting style that they did in the school, (3) the type of paternalistic/maternalistik leadership is maintained by teachers in positioning themself as a parents at school, furthermore, democratic leadership is implemented by positioning themself as a partner for their students, while the charismatic type is showed by the teacher as a role model for learners.Please type your abstract here (200 words maximum).     The Process of Students’ Character Building through Teachers’ Spiritual Leadership

    The purpose of this study is to describe the process of learners’ characters building through teachers’ spiritual leadership. This research was conducted in the State Primary School of Kauman 1 Malang. In relation to the purpose of this study the writer focus on the building of the students’ character since childhood. It is in line with the team of Directorate Primary Education, 2012 stated that the national education character has a strategic role performed by the government through the schools, communities, and families in order to build character and noble civilization dignified nation based on the framework of national life comprehensive of Pancasila and UUD 1945. The writer believe that the appropriate time to teach the children moral and religion values is in the Elementary school periods. It is very important to make people not only smart but also have a good character, in order to make them have a strong foundation to face all the problems in their life. The process of character building is done by the teacher through the spiritual leadership. This study is a phenomenological qualitative approach with case study aimed to investigate and describe the detail process of students’ character building through the teachers’ spiritual leadership. Moreover, in order to find out the accurate data, the writer conducted observation, documentation, and interview with the elementary school teachers. The results of this study show that the schools implemented various policies which became the culture in the school; it starts during the school program till the students’ daily activities that should be done by all the students regularly. All activities are led by teachers as the instructional leaders with their own spiritual background.     Masa pandemi karena adanya Covid-19 yang sedang melanda dunia, maka salah satu dampak dari adanya pandemi tersebut adalah dengan tidak melakukan kegiatan yang menimbulkan keramaian tanpa pengawasan aparat kesehatan. Di masa pandemi seperti ini seluruh kegiatan 90% dilaksanakan secara daring baik dari sisi pekerjaan dan sekolah. Namun tidak bagi warga yang bekerja sebagai pedagang, petani dan juga pekebun mereka cenderung melakukan kegiatan dengan melibatkan khalayak ramai. Namun hal itu tidak menyurutkan niat sukarelawan terkait hambatan-hambatan dalam memberikan edukasi kegiatan warga dalam mencari ekonomi selama pandemi, dengan harapan warga tetap menjaga kesehatan dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan yang dianjurkan oleh pemerintah dengan menjaga jarak mencuci tangan dan menggunakan masker. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada kegiatan ini yakni dengan tetap memberikan edukasi dan arahan kepada masyarakat mengenai pentingnya tetap menjaga  jarak, cuci tangan dan menggunakan masker saat melibatkan atau terlibat dengan khalayak ramai selama pandemi

    Dualisme kurikulum ini terjadi akibat implementasi Kurikulum 2013 yang kurang matang dan terbilang tergesa-gesa. Dunia pendidikan tergoncang lagi dengan munculnya kebijakan Menteri Pendidikan Anis Baswedan, bahwa kurikulum berubah kembali ke kurikulum KTSP 2006. Ungkapan bahwa jika ‘berganti pemerintah ganti menteri berganti pula kurikulumnya’ sudah sering terlontar baik dikalangan pendidik maupun masyarakat, kini terbukti. Kondisi inilah yang membuat tenaga pendidik dan peserta didik menjadi bingung. Seharusnya, pemerintah bisa menentukan satu diantara dua kurikulum mana yang akan diterapkan. Pemerintah seyogyanya ketika akan menerapkan kurikulum baru, melakukan sosialisasi sedini dan semaksimal mungkin, agar ketika kurikulum itu akan diterapkan sudah bisa langsung dilaksanakan oleh guru. Hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan penerapan kurikulum baru juga dipersiapkan dengan cermat, buku-buku penunjang, pelatihan kepada guru juga perlu disiapkan untuk menyambut diberlakukannya kurikulum baru. Jika semuanya sudah siap maka ketika kurikulum baru diberlakukan maka tidak akan terjadi ‘penolakan’ di tataran pelaksana. Berangkat dari wacana diatas dan realita yang kerap terjadi di dunia pendidikan terkait kurikulum, hendaknya pemerintah selaku pembuat kebijakan menentukan dengan cermat model kurikulum yang tepat untuk diterapkan di Indonesia. Bidang lain yang berkaitan langsung dengan suksesnya pelaksanaan kurikulum juga perlu digarap, seperti kualifikasi dan profesionalisme guru selaku pelaksana kurikulum. Jika kualifikasi dan profesionalisme guru baik, maka apapun kurikulum yang akan diterapkan tidak akan berdampak ‘penolakan’ dari guru, karena para guru sudah profesional. Mereka akan tahu dengan segera apa yang harus dilakukan dengan adanya kurikulum baru. Guru sebagai pelaksana kurikulum merupakan faktor penting yang besar pengaruhnya terhadap proses dan hasil belajar, bahkan sangat menentukan berhasil tidaknya peserta didik dalam belajar.     Kurikulum Peserta Didik Berkebutuhan Khusus di Pendidikan Dasar

    Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan kurikulum bagi peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus di SD YIMA Bondowoso. Sejalan dengan visi dan misinya, sekolah ini sejak tahun 2006 memproklamirkan sebagai sekolahnya manusia yang mengakui bahwasannya semua anak cerdas dengan segala kekurangan dan kelebihannya. Otomatis paradigma berpikir seluruh pendukung sekolah ini harus berubah, mulai dari penyelenggara sekolah (yayasan), kepala sekolah, guru, dan seluruh staf terkait. Semua peserta didik berhak mendapatkan pendidikan sesuai dengan kebutuhannya terutama peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Pendidikan inklusif yang dicanangkan pemerintah tahun 2009 juga berimbas pada penunjukan sekolah ini sebagai sekolah dasar swasta inklusif di Kabupaten Bondowoso pada tahun pelajaran 2012-2013. Sekolah ini dinilai siap oleh Dinas Pendidikan setempat untuk melaksanakan sekolah inklusif. Sekolah inklusif adalah sekolah reguler biasa yang menerima siswa berkebutuhan khusus di masing-masing jenjang dengan jumlah yang tidak banyak, sehingga kurikulum yang dipakai adalah kurikulum yang sama dengan sekolah non inklusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif naturalistik dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus, untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan secara rinci tentang implementasi kurikulum peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus. Wawancara, observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan interaksi langsung yang dilakukan penulis selama satu tahun pelajaran membuktikan bahwa sekolah ini mampu melaksanakan amanahnya sebagai sekolah inklusif dengan segala konsekuensinya. Memodifikasi kurikulum mulai dari penurunan kemampuan dasar (KD), pelatihan guru dalam pembuatan lesson plan hingga tersedianya layanan shadow teacher (guru pendamping khusus untuk peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus) telah dilakukan sekolah ini untuk memenuhi standar pengelolaan sekolah inklusif. Hasilnya adalah sekolah membuat kebijakan untuk melakukan modifikasi kurikulum reguler sedemikian rupa sehingga sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik yang berkebutuhan khusus. Hal tersebut dilakukan karena beragamnya siswa berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah tersebut, mulai dari slow learner, down syndrom, dan autisme yang ringan hingga sedang.     Service Learning Klinis Artikel Ilmiah Guru yang Akan Mengajukan Kenaikan Pangkat Jabatan

    The purpose of community service this time is first, helping the teacher's difficulties in writing scientific articles compiled from the results of Class Action Research (PTK) that has been done. Many results are obtained in teacher PTK and need to be published in order to be a reference for teachers and other educators. Second, for the promotion and class of teachers who have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Second, scientific articles written by teachers can be used for submissions for promotions and classes of teachers that have been promulgated in Permenegpan No. 16 of 2009 and Permendiknas No. 35 of 2010. Both candies require the calculation of the credit number of functional positions of teachers for the affairs of promotion and class. One of the credit figures is obtained from scientific publications. The target of this community service activity is to help teachers to hone their skills in terms of writing scientific articles and providing assistance / clinical scientific articles until published in the intended journal. The implementation of this activity is scheduled for three months, starting from: (1) giving material, (2) introducing and providing examples of scientific articles that have been published in national and international journals, (3) accompanying teachers in writing scientific papers compiled from the results of PTK, (4) helping teachers to assess the extent to which their scientific writing is worth publishing, and (5) helping to give directions to which journals will be intended to publish their work

    THE INVOLVEMENT OF SUPPORTING STAFF IN THE MBKM PROGRAM AT UNIVERSITAS ISLAM MALANG

    Abstract: This study aims to investigate the involvement of supporting staffs at the Universitas Islam Malang about the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Supporting staff is an essential factor in improving the implementation of the MBKM program. Their involvement is beneficial for lecturers and students participating in this program. The supporting staff realized that this program impacted the development of their institution. There were 328 who participated in filling in the questionnaire, and 37 staffs were voluntary to be interviewed. The data collection was carried out by filling out questionnaires and supported by structured interviews to explore their answers in the questionnaire. From the data collection results, the supporting staff wanted to be more involved in the MBKM program. Moreover, through this program, they believed that the performance indicators of the Universitas Islam Malang can be increased and will improve their welfare if this program is successful. Also, they hope that this program can be developed well if they are involved in a sustainable workshop or seminar related to the MBKM program).Keywords: involvement, supporting staff, MBKM
