Objective: This study evaluates the critical factors affecting COVID-19 vaccine acceptance in Indonesia using a proposed extended theory of planned behaviour (extended-TPB). Design/Methods/Approach: We conducted an online survey (N = 222 respondents) using a valid and reliable questionnaire to evaluate people's intention to take the COVID-19 vaccination. A structural equation modeling was performed to demonstrate the impact of religious acceptance (RA), vaccine safety (SF), trust (TS), perceived behavioural control (PBC), attitude towards vaccination (ATT), and subjective norms (SN), on intention (IN) to accept COVID-19 vaccine. Findings: The results show positive relationships of all hypotheses except the correlation between RA and TS. TS becomes a positive determinant of ATT, SN, PBC, and INT, and TS is influenced by SF but not by RA. TS is the key determinant factor of intention to uptake the COVID-19 vaccine. Originality: This study used a proposed extended TPB by adding trust, religious acceptance, and safety as additional components of TPB to predict the intention to participate in COVID-19 vaccination. This study is essential because the vaccine is believed to be the best strategy to deal with virus-related diseases, such as COVID-19. However, there is a lack of information on the multifactor effects of Indonesian people's acceptance of vaccination, especially among Surakarta residents. Practical/Policy implication: This research can be a recommendation for the Indonesian government to elevate public intention to take the COVID-19 vaccine, especially by implementing policies that accentuate people's trust by confirming and publishing information about the vaccine safety

One of the food-product halalness indicator is the absence of alcohol. In this case, traders as business actors must know about the contamination of khamr and alcohol in food ingredients that are traded so as not to endanger themselves and consumersas a condition when applying for halal certification. Because the content of khamr and alcohol besides endangering health, the Qur'an also clearly forbids them. Therefore this community service aims to increase the knowledge of shop owners around IAIN Surakarta regarding the contamination of khamr and alcohol in food as an effort to prepare for halal certification. This activity is carried out using the socialization method, namely by giving lectures and questions and answers to 10 food stall owners. Activity evaluation is carried out by providing a pre-test and post-test on the topic presented. From this community service activity, there was an increase in knowledge which could be seen from the pre-test and post-test scores, which were respectively 36 and 86. Specifically, the increase in knowledge about the definition of alcohol and khamr was 50%, the rules of the beverage trade. alcohol in Indonesia is 50%, types of alcoholic drinks are 60%, and the law of alcohol and khamr in Islam is 30%

The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has an impact on the physical health aspect and the psychology of the community, especially the emotions to experience stress and anxiety. This psychological impact is not only experienced by groups who are vulnerable to COVID-19 but also teenagers. The information circulating on social media about COVID-19, both factual information or hoaxes, triggers stress and anxiety among teenagers. This community service is carried out to provide education to teenagers on how to be wiser using social media so that they can anticipate anxiety and stress as a result of using social media. This activity was carried out for high school teenagers who are members of the youth organization in Ngudi, Blora, by providing counselling on two subjects, namely 1) the SIFT method to anticipate hoaxes circulating on social media, 2) how to anticipate stress as a result of using social media. The results of this activity are participants' understanding of how to behave and act on information obtained from social media, as well as participants' understanding of ways to anticipate stress during the COVID-19 pandemic. In general, the participants were enthusiastic about participating in this activity and get benefits

Cryopreservation Effects on Consensus Criteria of Human Mesenchymal Stem Cells: A Review

Broad range applications of human mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) neccesitate the best way to preserve MSC. Cryopreservation is the only one applicable methods for MSCs storage, which consists of vitrification and slow freezing cryopreservation. However, there is a lack of standard procedure of cryopreservation. Different freezing steps and cryo-mediums are often used, which may impact on MSCs characteristics. This article aims to evaluate the impact of cryopreservation on consensus criteria of MSCs derived from various tissues, which consists of surface morphology, differentiation capacity, and surface marker expression. Twenty-nine in vitro studies were analyzed, and their results organized according to the cell attributes they asses. This review shows that there are various procedures of slow-freezing cryopreservation. Our findings show that a temperature reduction rate of -1oC / min is the most suitable for MSC cryopreservation, and combination of DMSO and FBS in addition of growth medium is still the most used cryomedium in slow freezing cryopreservation. Whereas, in vitrification, combination of ethylene glycol, Ficoll, and sucrose is used as cryoprotective agents. In conclusion, our results show that although there are variations in slow-freezing cryopreservation, there is no significant effect on MSC either morphology, surface marker expression (positive markers consists of CD105, CD90, CD73; and negative markers consists of CD45, CD34, CD14 or CD11b, CD19, and HLA-DR), or differentiation capability (adipogenic, chondrogenic, and osteogenic). Whereas, vitrification effects could not be clearly defined yet, because of a limited number of studies.Key Words: Cryopreservation, Slow-Freezing, Vitrification, MSC characteristiccs, MSC storag
